The Medical Team is the absolute worst! Staff can be found sleeping at all hours of the day. Call light responses are regularly over 30min. [name removed] is very rude and aggressive. Please don't put your loved one here!

My aunt lives here and loves it! What a wonderful independent living community! The food is delicious and they have entertainment all the time. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if your loved one is looking for a senior living community!

I've had my loved one there for almost 4 years now and he LOVES it there. He raves about the food and the people there. He loves playing Bingo and doing the Senior Olympics. He gets shower and medicine administration support from the Medical Team, the company that is contracted to provide patient support. If I have any questions or concerns, Kathy, Jessica, and Becky are happy to work with me to resolve them.

I have lived at American House since May 1st, 2016. I needed some assistance and didnt want to live alone. I have been very happy here. The staff is very nice, I think the food is excellent, they do my laundry and clean my room. Highly recommended.

A family member entered American House Elmwood in February. She was very anxious about moving! However, the people at American House Elwood are so welcoming and helpful that she laughs now when asked if she misses her old home. She is now safer, more active, surrounded by folks who call her by name, smile frequently, and show her that she matters. What a blessing in her life!

What a magical place! My mom spent 5 months at Elmwood, and her, our experience there was outstanding! I would highly recommend this beautiful facility to anyone looking for an alternative to staying in their home. The staff is amazing! Everyone is always incredibly helpful and they all go through their day with a smile and words of kindness and encouragement. Very thankful for such a lovely place for my mom!
