Had such a great experience with the facility! The Admission lady Erica brought me in toured me with the facility she made me and my brother feel so comfortable! We went ahead with admitting out family into the orchards, we meet with Jasmine the Administrator and the Don Sapphire they were great! So far i have no complaints! Im happy my family is as well! Choosing The Orchards of Redford for my mother’s care was the best decision I’ve had to make. From day one, I felt a deep sense of peace knowing she was in a place where she would be safe, cared for, and truly loved. The staff was extraordinary especially the Director of Nursing Sapphire and the Administrator Jaz. They both were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in each resident’s well-being. They didn’t just care for my mother; they cared about her. Whether it’s helping her with daily routines, sharing a laugh, or just sitting and listening, their warmth and respect never went unnoticed. The building is always clean, inviting, and full of life. The meals are delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the activities offered kept my mother engaged, smiling, and socially connected. There’s always something to look forward to, and that made a world of difference for her happiness and overall health. What touched me the most is how the team at the Orchards treated my mom like family. They honored her as the incredible woman she was, and that meant everything to me. Although my mother transitioned earlier this year I am beyond grateful to have found The Orchards Of Redford . The Orchards Of Redford cared for my grandmother and I must say I was very pleased with the staff especially the Director Sapphire. This is truly a community that feels like family. The food (specifically the daily soup) is delicious. The activities are engaging, with frequent musical entertainment. The onsite therapy team is personable and well-rounded. I wouldn’t want my grandmother anywhere else.

My sister Charlotte Rogers, is a resident at the Orchards at Redford my first look was no I don’t like this place. But as a child my mother raised 9 children saying don’t judge a book by its cover, and I did exactly what I was told not to do! Now the optic isn’t all that great let me tell you the service can’t be beat. She first was at a place in West Bloomfield always had to be admitted to the hospital every other month for wound care, while being in the Orchard she’s not once been hospitalized for wound care. If anyone is looking to place a family member in a facility the Orchard of Redford is the place. Not connected to anyone that owns the place.

I recently transferred my mother from another facility NOT affiliated with The Orchards due to unprofessionalism and I was concerned for my mothers well being and overall health.Since the transfer to the orchards my mother is happier and healthier in the less than 90 days she has been A resident at the orchards she has received physical therapy all her meds. The staff have been friendly and professional. Her room is always clean. They take int consideration. Her dietary needs. I am just overwhelmed and excited with the treatment and care that my mother receives now signed a satisfied daughter.

The service is pretty good most of the aides and nurses are nice! Everybody know my name which makes me smile. I enjoy bible class and I sang and asked to come back to sing. I can use more showers real early but I’m not gonna complain. And I can’t forget about a previous time I came in April just in time for the Easter bunny! And I took pictures and to find out the bunny was Erica made my day I enjoy that and wil keep my bunny picture forever.

My mom spent a few months here before she passed and our experience was amazing, ALL the staff went above and beyond their job description to make my mom feel comfortable and at home , from clean sheets, clean Room ,cable tv , whatever she needed they made sure she had it, if anyone needs to send they loved one to a nursing home this is a great place they welcome u with open arms and help you in any way they can. ©

My mom has been in The Orchards of Redford for 3 years. It has been great for my family. I have been to several other facilities and this one was great comparatively speaking. Cynthia and some other staff I really trust with my mom. Cynthia is like family now. She makes sure that my mom is good. If an issue arises she rectifies it immediately. I don't worry about my mom being taken care of at The Orchards of Redford. We work together as a team on behalf of my mom.

I’ve read the reviews. Some are good and some are bad. I live by first impressions. The receptionist at the front desk is friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. Then there’s ERICA. She is an angel from above. She got my loved one in on a transfer from another facility. We needed prompt service and that’s what she did. Very caring young lady. Several residents came to chat with her while I was there on tour. The staff on the floor were allvery friendly .when I got to my family members room, the treatment nurse was there doing a very good job on her legs. So that negativity I read, it does not matter unless it happens to my family. I don’t judge. Now if it does happen to us, then I will just move her out. No complaints from me!

If your looking for long term or short term care even respite care The Orchards at Redford is the place while my mother was in care at the Facility she was in great care and was treated like family we were always comfortable when we came to see her she was so happy and comfortable she did not want to leave! Erica took me for a tour I fell in love with the facility itself they treated me as family and my mother if I can refer anyone to them I would call Erica for your tour or transfer today!

To the owners of this facility. I submit this post to express my satisfaction with the staff, and the level of professionalism while my mother Helen Payne was a resident, they gave great care with my mother and myself, they treated me like family.I would like to thank personally thank The CNA's Lorraine, Mykiea .The nurses Teresa, Angie, Tiffany, Brittany. They always had a smile for me and offered support. These folks truly handle there business I have seen it everyday. All of the support staff additionally have been friendly and and kind. I have no regrets for choosing this facility. There have been some bumbs in the road, the food is challenged, however to all those reading this post, check on your loved ones, maybe not everyday like I did, but do your do diligence to ensure your family is is taking care of. God bless all.

They took good care for my Fianc© in 2022 for Rehabilitation and the hospital was saying that this is his Norm that he wouldn't get better than this. Of the two separate caring units at Orchards of Redford that my family has had to utilize. The short term side seems more diligent in providing some appropriate medial/nursing care. However, the long term nursing/medical side is consistently understaffed, staff seem to target my family member even when they have staff. The staff can find two -three coworkers to witness any conversation with you if you are questioning their procedures/actions/inactions, etc. But, they can't find two - three coworkers to provide the appropriate level of care. The ''highest level of respect and compassion'' noted on their website is not given. They don't seem to get that benign neglect, ignoring request for care and pretending not to hear calls for help is just plain neglect. The persons in charge of the online staff are seldom present .

Don't let the front office fool you. when you get inside it will discuss and make you angry at the condition and patient care. Most of the rooms are awful. On weekends it would be about 10 cars on the whole ground

Well I'm just learning about the place since my dad was put there 3 weeks ago I've been calling and somebody keeps hanging up on me each time someone answers someone hangs up five times in a row I don't understand??!? I hope it's not as bad as the reviews are telling me but my experience is not good since I cannot seem to get a hold of anybody already have anyone answer the phone.

I’ve had home health patients placed at this location for sub acute rehab and they had great outcomes. From a community partnerships perspective, their clinical liaison Teri Jordan is well-connected and resourceful. Thanks for doing such great work!

The building appears to be really nice from the front entrance, and even better when getting inside. Go throughout the building and you will see just what an awful place to be. I got a big disgusting surprise at what I saw. Shame. Shame.

Sonia, the nurse, and Emma in Activities, cared for our long time friend, along with the other compassionate employees. I commend them very highly for the wonderful work they do to try to make the people living there and their families comfortable in a sometimes difficult time in their lives. Let's start off with the staff, Sher (in the office), will make you feel like family as she gets you settled in your room. The staff is always cleaning day and night wiping this and wiping that. Your medications are given on time.and they will repeat what meds you're about to take. EDIT: WHEN YOU NEED ANY KIND OF HELP ASK FOR MARLON , HE .MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE HE IS THAT BROTHER THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH......NOW LETS TALK ABOUT FOOD MRS. YVONNE MAKES SURE THE FOOD IS GOOD AND FRESH , LIKE FOR BREAKFAST YOU MIGHT HAVES SCRAMBLED EGGS ON A CROISSANT WITH SAUSAGE APPLE JUICE AND FRESH FRUIT.... SHE DONT PLAY ABOUT THE FOOD. They are really kind and they care about your feelings. Sher ( WHO WORKS IN THE OFFICE. ) will come pass every door and say goodbye,.I WOULD DEFINITELY FEEL COMFORTABLE PLACINGS. MY MOTHER HERE. .

I moved over to this facility because I believe in the facility and ownership. Months ago they had a clear plan for COVID vaccination- as well as testing staff twice a week - which has been going on months - compared to the faculty I was at - who had JUST started testing staff! They have a clear plan of action - and that makes me feel confident in their care during these unsettling times.

Up until now my experience has been phenomenal with this center. I have been attempting to reach my mother since 6/22, to no avail (I have phone logs).I have contacted the nurses left multiple messages which have yet to be returned. I called the main number to see if I could any where there. Yet another promise to call me back...we'll see. It is bad enough we're in a pandemic, which is prohibiting me from seeing my mom physically. I only want to check on her and make sure she's OK. But seems I can't do that. My next step is a visit to the facility that won't be so friendly!
