Great staff and will help with anything you need! The community is very welcoming. I didn't get to try the food, but the dining area is great! Everyday there is an activity.

I went in with a family member for a tour, to look for an apartment for another family member. I could not believe how nice and kind the staff were to eachother, and kind when overheard talking to the residents. The rooms were clean , and the building was well kept, We will definitely be back to Brentwood at Niles!

I have worked at Brentwood for almost 2 years now and I have to say it’s been one of the greatest experiences for me. I have been able to make so many friendships with staff and residents. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is so supportive! I highly recommend everyone to work and or live at Brentwood for a wonderful experience!

I love Brentwood. Ive worked here for ten years.The staff is very caring, and are always willing to help in any way they can. Brentwood has so many activities and crafts for the residents and there is always something fun and engaging to participate in. The food is great and the housekeeping staff is excellent.

Brentwood of Niles is awesome!!! When I drove by and seen heros work here they truly due they took great care of my family member some people forget that its not a hospital its not a doctors office they cant make appointments if any gave them a one star their a joke and need to visit their family members more often to see whats going on with them before they start slandering this great place and the people that work there Brentwood phenomenal job at taking care of their residents I would gladly give them 5 stars Thank you Brentwood of Niles I truly appreciate you guy and your efforts to take care of my family member I truly appreciate it with all my heart .Remember is something goes wrong with a family member its your responsibility to stay in contact witch means call visit etc only you truly know whats going on with them Thank you again Brentwood

My mom moved into Brentwood from out of state a year ago, and right from the start she has felt welcomed, valued, and listed to. The business transactions and paperwork to move her in were a breeze, thanks to the strong leadership in place here... introductions to the wonderful and caring teams (nursing staff, kitchen staff, laundry and housekeeping, resident assistants, management, etc.) were kindly done but not at all overwhelming... her introduction to the routines and schedules plus the wonderful social activities was done with enthusiasm, but all the while recognizing that this was a major life shift for her and her family, and thus handled with compassion. Most of the staff have been serving the seniors at Brentwood for many years, so to me that says a lot about their job satisfaction, plus it shows up in how they respectfully care for each resident and handle incidents and situations as they arise. Mom has come to love many of them, and I know they have come to love her, too; these people are her family now, as well. Mom really enjoys the food here; it's always fresh and healthy. Portion sizes are perfect; she gets plenty of food but not too much that it's wasted. The big meal of each day is served at lunchtime which I think is really good for seniors. Residents are given choices for each meal which is so important for Mom's continued independence. Family Night takes place once a month, and the leadership team here continues to amaze me in what they think up as a theme, how much they embrace and put into these special evenings, and how much fun these multi-generational events are for everyone. The guiding principles here are to help the residents live with/achieve Joy, Independence, and Wellness. These coupled with how I saw the staff work with and care for their residents were the reasons we chose Brentwood to be Mom's home. We made a very good choice and we are all very happy.

As caretaker for my mother, my father had many as many pre-arrangements as possible with Brentwood at Niles for my mother's short-term respite care in the event something happened to him requiring hospital stay, etc. When the time came, the "landing" at Brentwood was smooth, soft, and welcoming for my mother. He was admitted to the hospital at 12:30 p.m., and by 6:30 that night, she was presented a late dinner held for her and was safely in bed shortly thereafter. The first night, however, she fell trying to go to the bathroom by herself. Brentwood immediately responded, contacted me, explained what happened, then proposed/instituted a proactive plan that would avoid reoccurrance. She was provided a safe, secure, comfortable home environment, her personal needs were tended to, she was included socially, welcomed, embraced by the entire staff. My father was prematurely released from the local hospital, the admissions process for him had not quite been completed at Brentwood. However, he, also, was received happily, secured, his medical & personal needs addressed quickly and thoroughly. Due to the premature release from the hospital, my father required emergency attention late night, including transport to the hospital emergency room. The staff at Brentwood contacted me late night/early a.m., they were calm, professional, in control, and provided me critical paperwork in hand that helped with emergency admission and care invaluably. The staff at Brentwood also followed up on his condition following his return hospitalization. The Brentwood family immediately stepped up to fill in my mother's needs, provide for her comfort, confidence, and relieved my father's anxiety about her care. Brentwood stayed in touch with my father while hospitalized, was ready with the return assessment processes to re-receive him, sent a get-well card and a stuffed kitty to take the place of his beloved kitty he was missing, and offered transportation to him for dialysis and/or dr's appts upon his return. During a very stressful, emotional process for all concerned, Brentwood has consistently provided the needs & reassurances for my parents' daily care, and a warm, welcoming, friendly environment not only to them, but to us as family & concerned friends, as well. We have highly praised their services to everyone we have had contact with. Highly recommended!!! And, thank you!!!
