I called a few places when we realized Dad needed assisted living. Bickford immediately called and was very accommodating with me to set up a tour. From that day forward they made us feel as though not only my dad, but our entire family, were welcome. My dad has never been a social person, but after 7 months of living there, he loves it! The entire staff is wonderful and this is the best decision my brothers and I have ever made. Would highly recommend Bickford to anyone looking for a beautiful environment for their loved one to live.

I visited a few months ago. The building was very clean and modern. The staff was very kind and interacted with the residents like they were old friends. The rooms are modern, clean and kept up well. There seemed to be plenty of fun activities for the residents, I did not try the food but it smelled good!

THE STAFF IS THE BEST IN MIDLAND!!!!! My father has been a resident for over a year and Bickford assisted living is just like being at home for my father. All of my dad's needs are addressed daily and they always have a senior nurse on duty. The activities are phenomenal and have numerous people come in to perform. As a guest I have 24 hours access by way of a key fob. I would not want my father to be in any other location especially since Bickford is right across the street from the Midland Mall.

We recently visited Bickford of Midland for an open house in consideration of a home for an elderly parent. We were very impressed with the staff and how comfortable and welcoming the whole facility was for residents. The new memory care wing was especially impressive and is a well designed facility. We're sure in the future, Bickford will make a caring home for our family member.

I spent over an hour, touring Bickford for my mom with the director Renee Urlaub..I was so impressed. I met the entire staff , from office to kitchen to nursing. I even got to enjoy some of the entertainment they had for the afternoon. Definitely someplace I'll keep on mind for my mom. She deserves the best

The last few days were rough for our family. The whole nine months my father was there, all I heard was how much the BFMs loved my father. On more than one occasion we shared tears with the staff. I appreciate my extended family at Bickford. Best choice I could have made for Daddy.

Care is exceptional due to a well picked staff

I am very unhappy with the care and their ability to keep staff. My loved one is confused and I know they do not get the care they need. They treat everyone like royalty until you move in, then they show very little concern in what is going on with the residents and their ever changing needs. They are unable to keep a nurse. They recently had a very good nurse one that actually care and listened to problems and concerns. She did spend time listening to concerns and problems, and attempted to come up with solutions. If not then she would investigate concerns and changes needed to make the resident's life more fulfilled. Many of us felt better about the care however I learned very recently that she was no longer with the home. I am currently looking for a new home, one that treats you well when you come in and continues to treat the resident well after.
