Cortland Edgewood has truly transformed under the new leadership. The entire team, including Administrator Kelly, Michelle (HWD), Nancy in marketing, Jordan in staffing, Heather in activities, Rachel, the bubbly receptionist, and the dedicated caregivers, have united to bring a fresh start to the community. Kelly Wrigglesworth , the administrator, has created a culture rooted in mutual respect, accountability, and pride, among the Team and it shows. Their commitment to residents is evident. Despite past challenges, the team's continuous growth is admirable. Corporate leaders Leslie, Kari, and Reva have also been a supportive presence from the new management company. Edgewood also has many care staff who have been there for many years, showing their dedication and flexibility. As providers of hospice care and visiting physician services to many residents, we at TCT are grateful for the trust they place in us. Having worked with Cortland Edgewood for many years through various changes and the pandemic, they have had many folks who care but grew into other opportunities, I am thrilled to see the new crew thriving and growing. This community is a great option for senior living. Their dedication to treating seniors with dignity and respect is truly commendable.

Wow some great changes are happening in this community that is now under new management and ownership!! The staff are so warm and welcoming, I've seen first hand how well they interact with the residents. Their Activities are fantastic!!

My family moved my grandmother here recently. We signed the contract a couple months ago and agreed on a price for rent. On the day of the move in, the staff came to her apartment attempting to renegotiate the cost of rent. They wanted to double the price. My grandmother started crying. She told management that the price was already agreed upon. I believe they felt bad, so they agreed to honor their original contract. The contract was handled by an employee that's no longer there. According to the staff he "misplaced" the paperwork with the rental agreement and various financial costs. UPDATE: MANAGEMENT HAS DECIDED TO HONOR THE ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT FOR THE COST OF RENT. I'VE DECIDED TO INCREASE THE RATING TO THREE STARS BECAUSE OF THIS. I WILL CONTINUE TO ADJUST THE RATING ACCORDINGLY.

Personally, i think vista might be an average assisted living center. I'm glad they offer what they offer. Execution has had bumps. But not all the centers fault.

I was looking into assisted living for both my parents after my dad had been out at Burcham Hills doing his rehabilitation because it just wasn't looking like he should come home, and Vista Springs Majestic Bliss was just beautiful! It had everything they needed and or wanted and was actually very affordable!

When searching for an assisted, living home for our father, we looked at several. It's a very daunting task. Vista Springs Majestic Bliss was actually the last place we looked at. To say we were impressed, would be an understatement. First impressions mean a lot, and we were picking up good vibes immediately, from the moment we stepped in to the home. It's so beautiful and so welcoming, and very easy to navigate through. We were greeted by several employees. It was a no-brainer for us, this was the type of place we were hoping to find for dad. He absolutely loves it there, and we feel very confident in the care he's receiving. Everyone has been so thoughtful, so helpful I feel like I've known them forever! Not that it would've made a difference, but not only was it the last place we looked at, and the most beautiful place we had visited, but it was also the least expensive. And they don't cut corners on care. His room is absolutely perfect, the view is perfect as well. He truly does enjoyed being there. Which makes us feel less guilty about placing him. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the friendless staff we've talked to thus far., Usually by a beautiful, happy go lucky young lady named Rachel. She is a gem. The caregivers go out of their way to greet you with a smile. Always eager to help. I would be remiss if I didn't mention, Jessica , who has helped us tremendously along this journey. She has definitely been a blessing. The other residents appear to also be content. Dad has made many friends. There's just so many others I want to mention ... Jennifer... Bonnie.... Nevaeh ..... all of them! They're all wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts...... Russ & Marcia Whitney

I have worked over an Year now and the support I have received has been amazing. Management listens to what is needed and values my opining on topics. Working for other company's, many thought my life, the Vista Springs cares about the staff and engages a lot more than I has seen at most company's. Vista Springs has helped me reach my dreams at work and outside of work and has given me the opportunity to dream bigger and look ahead.... Every one here from staff to the people that live here is "family", sharing, caring, every day is so good it makes it worth while to come to work every day.

I have been employed at Vista Springs Edgewood for what will be 3 years in August. Since I started I was hesitate about working at VSE, but as time went on and management changed there has been such great improvement! Not only improvements for staff, but for the care of the residents. The staff really truly care about our Community Members and I hear laughter and see smiles every morning I walk into work. I would highly recommend VSE to my friends, family and more! The care that our community members receive is of high quality - do not let these negative reviews make your judgement on our facility and please go check it out yourself!
