Delta Retirement Center will always hold a special place in my heart. My Great Grandma Betty Thompson worked there doing 3rd shifts and my Grandma Joyce Thompson was a care giver supervisor. When I was little my great grandma & my grandma would bring me there to see the residents. Keep up the amazing work you do for the community of Delta Township.

I would say if you can take care of yourself then it's a nice place it's clean and nice inside. now if you need assistance then it's not the place for your love one. bathroom is not handicap accessible aides do not respond to call light at an adequate time. no breakfast just lunch and dinner. you don't see aides hardly ever in halls it's like they hide out somewhere. lunch staff is friendly and helpful.

I would say that this place is fine if you’re an able body and just want to retire somewhere. It’s got a beautiful fireplace and activities. If you’re in need of assistance this is not the place to go. You rarely see staff, they are not checking on their residents, they do not respond to calls for assistance in a timely fashion, your loved one could wait as long as an hour before someone comes to help them after pushing their button for help, also breakfast is not available without hefty extra charge. The pricy of your time there fluctuates it’s never the same. It’s not handicap accessible the door ways are far to narrow and the bathrooms are very tight. They don’t use gate belts to help residents transfer so safety is a concern as well. They don’t report falls by either letting family know or hospice know. I would not suggest this place to anyone that needs assistance. The kitchen staff are friendly and helpful. The aids change hands constantly there’s no consistency.

We had a very pleasant tour of the facility. It was very nice but is a little dated. The cost, in comparison to other facilities, is lower. The employees were very nice and the residents seemed to be very well taken care of and engaged. We have chosen a different facility just due to the location of the other facility being closer to family. If this facility would have been closer to family we would have had a harder decision to make.

My mother has been at Delta Retirement Center for nearly 4 years, and both her and our family have never regretted making that decision. The care, endless activities, quality meals, and sense of community have made her life so much more enjoyable. We've seen a lot of changes over those years, but they are always trying to improve the experience for the residents and families. Yes, there were some staffing issues a few months back, but they have brought in some great, caring people. Thanks to Michelle, Lois, Olivia, and all of the hard working care workers, kitchen, and cleaning staff!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. In addition to Delta Retirement Center being an unlicensed facility, the administration is very rude and their quality of care is below par. They have such a large turnover of staff/caregivers and provide minimal if any training for them, therefore leaving the residents with long waits and wrong medication. The Director, [name removed], needs training in customer relations; she is untrustworthy, unwilling to assist and becomes very defensive when approached with concerns -- it is not a wonder there are so many vacancies there.

I adore Delta Retirement Center! My mom is so happy and content living here, she is definitely living her best life with her new family and friends..after a visit with mom stepping out the door to go home, I know she is left in the best of care. The Delta Retirement staff are awesome.

We had such a a great time, seeing the happiness on the residents faces while they were passing out candy was priceless and beautiful. They had as much fun as all the trick or treaters did. We had an amazing experience dealing with Olivia. She went above and beyond to make sure my 87 year old mom was all set and cared for. The accommodation were exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend delta retirement center for your family member.

We recently had to put my dad in Delta retirement. He has had the best care! All the staff is so friendly, kind, and cares for each and every person there! They have activities and sometimes they have music day in the common room for everyone to sing along with! They help us with everything we need, they check on him too! We are so glad we picked Delta Retirement!! Thank you for all you do Delta!!

We placed our mother in Delta Retirement Center after a diagnosis of terminal cancer. She was there three short weeks and during her stay, she was looked after and cared for by the staff of Delta, Bedford Care, and Abigail Hospice. Everyone communicated with each other to ensure our mother had the best care around the clock and they were very understanding and patient during a very difficult time for our family. We can’t thank them enough for the support and care our entire family received during our mother’s stay. After visiting friends and family in various retirement centers in Lansing over the years, she felt Delta Retirement Center was the best and she asked to be placed there directly from the hospital. We were all happy with the choice she made

Delta Retirement Center is by far the best retirement center I've been to. I am always so impressed by the kindness and care given the residents. It shows by how happy the residents are. There are so many wonderful activities and programs for all to enjoy.

My mom recently moved into Delta Retirement Center. From the time we stepped thru the door we felt welcomed. Not only from the staff but the residents as well. The staff goes out of their way to help, if they do not have the answer they will find out promptly. Everyone has a job there but will step out of there job description to make sure your loved one is respected and safe. Lovely dining room. The servers are kind and make sure you get the correct meal, as there is a selection. (Food is very tasty also, I ate there) Did I mention that there are Smiles everywhere there? I have had conversations with the receptionist, executive director, sales and marketing, care giving staff, housekeeping, maintenance and dining staff. They are all outstandingly caring. One more thing...they remember you and who you belong to.

My parents (97 and 92) have been at Delta Retirement for 6 months and are very happy there. Our family is happy with their care and with the facility itself. It’s clean and safe and the staff is wonderful to work with. They offer a wide range of services and activities. A resident can be as socially active as they want to be. It is such a relief to know that my parents are happy and safe.

Mom was well taken care of by caregivers and enjoyed there company. They were great with her and had only nice things to say about them. I would say her only complaint was some of the food.

I was very impressed overall with Delta Retirement Center. The customer service was amazing and they went out of their way to ensure my dad was taken care of when he was placed in hospice and passed away. The staff was very caring as well. I highly recommend Delta Retirement Center. Had my dad not passed away, it was the right facility for him to goto and live. I encourage anyone to take a tour of the facility.

Perhaps because it is a family-owned living facility, Delta provides a welcoming, homelike and caring environment for the seniors who live there. Important to me as the daughter of a resident is that Delta makes it possible to maintain an independent lifestyle - the residents only get the help they need and request. Most of the staff have been there a long time, know the residents well, and all are respectful, helpful, and encourage residents to engage. And there is much to engage in! From armchair travel to local outings, from happy hour to religious services, from manicures to guest performances, a resident can stay busy 24/7 in intellectually stimulating activities. The building is clean and well-maintained, meals are varied and quite tasty, and residents always seem to find someone with like interests. My sisters, Mom and I considered a number of places in the Lansing area and are so pleased we found Delta.
