I am totally discussed with this place I had/ have a relative there. Completely ignored for wks/ months. in bed for so long that this person couldn't sit up nor walk What kind of people do this to the patients.? She had bruises on her legs because of the nurse being so rough. In hopes that this place will be heavy investigated DO NOT,,,!!!! Place your loved ones in this facility

Everyone is very nice but I when I was visiting I believe the house keeping manager was being very harsh to hurt employees telling them to shut up and if they can't do their job right they can leave being very vulgar cuffing at her staff where to really hope she don't talk to the residents that way overall staff is very helping to everybody and very nice

Best place. Took care of my grandma very well, and has such nice staff and are very helpful. The administrator is very kind and loves work 1 on 1 with residents to make them feel welcome.

I was terrified my first day but after that day i have gotten along very well with all employees. They are an amazing bunch of people. They are prompt and when i ever needed them they were always here for me. Physical therapy is doing me great getting me stronger and making sure i am gonna walk better than ever. Love this place.

My mom was dressed well and seemed comfortable!! I asked for some tape to help with my Valentines decorations and they gave that to me right away. She had fresh water and a clean room with her bed made up nicely! Thank you!!

I am much happier with the new administrative staff but the meals for the patients still needs a lot of improvement. My mom will not eat half the food she is served, I'm sure if it looked, smelled,and tasted better she would eat it. Her overall nursing care has dramatically improved recently so I am satisfied of her care but like to see improvement of the nutrition.

I visited Medilodge today to visit a friend. First of all I was extremely grateful that he was finding the physical therapy there that he needed. I wasn't crazy about checking in, but the system was easy to use. Staff could have been more welcoming to me as an obvious newcomer to their system, eg as alarms are sounding, but I was reassured that security was being observed on behalf of the patients.

My brother is doing physical therapy nice size room to have guess to visit him nursing is great and security is good u have to register to enter the facility pleasant staff answered all my questions pertaining to my brother and the physical therapist was so polite when me and my wife arrived she was willing to get him back at a good time after taking him to therapy to check his balance and how well he was starting therapy I suggested u not give email sorry I signed in under my Gmail and now they r sending me a lot of email

The most overwhelming part about being a caregiver is findng a support system that is supportive, encouraging, and non-judgemental. I found all of that and more in the staff at Medilodge of Kalamazoo - 11th Street location. The feeling of warmth, care, and compassion is felt upon arrival. And in my departure I felt that if I needed to utilize a long term care facility in Kalamazoo it would absolutely be Medilodge.

My grandmother is a long-term care resident at Medilodge of Kalamazoo and she loves it there! The staff are amazing to her and treat their residents as family! She always talks about how she loves the food and they feed her well. If there is ever any questions they are happy to answer and keep us updated on changes. She is always saying positive things about Tillana their resident voice advocate. She is always going above and beyond for the residents there! I appreciate how Medilodge of Kalamazoo and the staff there has made my grandmother feel at home and as comfortable as possible. Thank you to all the staff at Medilodge of Kalamazoo!

I'm very pleased with the care my mother receives as a resident here. She's actively involved in several "clubs", and has become very social. The staff goes above and beyond for the residents and families. One of the things I'm impressed with, is that it does not smell like the stereotypical nursing home. When I visit my mother, I usually bring my 3 year old granddaughter, who loves to eat lunch there with her great G'ma 9a. We've not had a disappointing meal! Thank you staff and administration for everything!

Could not say better things about the friendliness of the staff at this building. Mark the receptionist is always so kind and helpful. The memory care hall staff work so hard and do a wonderful job. The rehab staff work wonders and get people back home. Thank you for all you do.
