I know of no better place for my husband's care. Since he is no longer able to live at home, this is the next best place. He loves the people who live there and the staff & the environment a lot. It gives me great peace of mind to know he is well cared for and content.

This place came recommended by A place for mom and I'm so grateful to have found it. My sister and I had been trying to find a facility that provided the level of care and patience needed for our mother. We had had tried a few places that didn't work out well and were starting to lose hope. She has dementia, requires a lot of physical assistance with day to day activities, and had just lost her husband/our father. She had gotten to the point where she barely ate, was pulling out her hair, and was in a constant state of panic and distress. She was in and out of hospitals and rehab facilities with low platelets and they couldn't seem to keep them stable for longer than a few weeks. We finally found Addington and moved her in November 5th. The patience and compassion that has been given to her has been such a huge relief. Her mental state has improved exponentially. After being there for less than three months, her hair has grown back, she's eating full meals again, her platelets and overall health is stable. She's made friends and is happy and calm every time I go over there. It's a clean facility with good food and lots of activities. But most importantly the workers are very patient and kind. Of all the facilities she's been in, this is the first one where the workers were able to gain her trust and give her that ease of mind.

My father lived here for approximately 3 years. Overall he received good care there--certain individuals were great. This was during pandemic times, so it is hard to compare to other facilities given the circumstances. Pros: New management did a lot more to engage the residents. Whole facility received a needed update in 2023--looks great! Cons: Food could have been better. There is hardly anyone working there on the weekends, which has been a fairly consistent problem. Be warned-- we found out after my father passed away that he signed some sort of contract without our knowledge, that basically required the family to continue to pay Addington for an entire 2 weeks after he was gone-- an unbelievable money grab! A despicable way to kick families when they are down, and should be a criminal offense in my opinion.

Moving Mom here was so difficult for Mom and family, but the staff have been so caring and attentive. Mom is enjoying her time there—about two months now—and our initial angst is gone. Kind, friendly and respectful caregivers make Mom feel very safe and welcome, and she has made new friends, doing activities she would not otherwise have been doing. No complaints about the meals, either. She likes it there! So glad Autumn Ridge was recommended to us...

Morgan, caregiver, does an exceptional job and Elena, housekeeper, works extremely hard, always pleasant and does a great job cleaning for us. Thank you to everyone on staff for caring.

I have visited a number of facilities in the Southeast Michigan area and there are few others who nurture their residents as their staff does. Jordan, Gail, Josie, and a number of other staff work together to create an atmosphere of inclusion where residents thrive. It was so much fun for the residents to see all the people in costume and participate by handing out treats as the guests went room to room! Then all met downstairs for a wonderful, colorful table of Halloween goodies and Cider. The extra effort all of you do to engage the residents warms my heart! Thank you!

I have been employed here for over a month and can honestly say it would be hard to find a more friendly work environment. The people here are always willing to help if you have questions and truly care about what they do. The care provided at Autumn Ridge is top notch, it would be hard to find a more dedicated team! Many of the people that work here have been with Autumn Ridge for a very long time as well. Longevity in the staff is always a great thing to see. It shows that the employees are dedicated to what they do and that they are being treated properly. I look forward to continuing my career with this great team!

As they say, there's no place like home but, Autumn Ridge provided a very caring, loving environment for my mother-in-law (Norma). She was not able to walk after her fall and life became a huge challenge. We Thank God that we found Autumn Ridge and we're grateful they welcomed her with open arms. Eventually, toward Normas final months we put her in the care of hospice. That was probably one of the best decisions we could have made, not only for her, but us as well. The communication was outstanding. We live in Fla. so were unable to physical be there. Her nurse, Lucy Noble was a God send, she faithfully called us every week to keep us informed on all aspects of Normas care. Between Lucy, the minister, Christella and care givers Tanya & Jordan, Norma had an additional layer of care. We were very comfortable knowing Norma was safe and secure and if any issues came up we were notified immediately. We honestly feel that Norms care was outstanding and we would highly recommend Autumn Ridge to anyone in need of assisted living. Its a tough decision and we hope this recommendation helps. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. We moved my mom into Autumn Ridge a year ago and I have been incredibly impressed with both the staff and the facilities.The staff is responsive to her needs and takes wonderful care of her. They are incredibly attentive to her physical health, but I've actually been most impressed with the effort they take to get to know each resident. Everyone in the facility greets her by name. They bring her favorite dessert each evening and they help her style her hair before important outings. This level of care is unlike she received in other facilities she was previously in.I would highly recommend Autumn Ridge of Clarkston to families looking for a place for their loved one.

After having a poor experience with my grandma at another assisted living I am relieved and overjoyed at how amazing Autumn Ridge has been for her. The staff at Autumn Ridge is very accommodating, and gets to personally know each resident. The dining facility is wonderful and the dining staff even know what her favorite salad dressing is, as well as her other food preferences. The facility is always clean and well kept. Autumn Ridge provides outings and different recreational activities throughout the week to help keep the residents busy and stimulated. I would recommend this assisted living to anyone who is looking for a place for any of their family members.

My grandfather has called Autumn Ridge home for the last two and half years and I cannot say enough kind things about the quality of care they have provided him. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. They really do treat him as if he is a member of their family. He loves the outings to local restaurants and all of the different activities that they offer on a daily basis. He also raves about how wonderful the food is at Autumn Ridge.Unhappy with the care she was receiving in another facility, my family chose to move my grandmother (other side of the family!) into Autumn Ridge. I am delighted to say that they have been so welcoming and helpful with her transition. What a relief it has been that she is finally getting the care and attention she deserves!Honestly, I can't imagine a better place to have both of my grandparents.
