Moving Mom here was so difficult for Mom and family, but the staff have been so caring and attentive. Mom is enjoying her time there—about two months now—and our initial angst is gone. Kind, friendly and respectful caregivers make Mom feel very safe and welcome, and she has made new friends, doing activities she would not otherwise have been doing. No complaints about the meals, either. She likes it there! So glad Autumn Ridge was recommended to us...

Outstanding Support! As a chaplain who has visited the Autumn Ridge Assisted Living patrons, please believe me when I say their support is TOP BOX. I have visited a number of facilities in the Southeast Michigan area and there are few others who nurture their residents as their staff does. Jordan, Gail, Josie, and a number of other staff work together to create an atmosphere of inclusion where residents thrive. It was so much fun for the residents to see all the people in costume and participate by handing out treats as the guests went room to room! Then all met downstairs for a wonderful, colorful table of Halloween goodies and Cider. The extra effort all of you do to engage the residents warms my heart! Thank you!

Took a tour last week and came back in today to follow up. I am so impressed with Autumn Ridge staff!! Every person I passed greeted me with a smile and offer of direction. The folks I met with - Gail, DeNiece, Alex, and Mike, were incredibly helpful, patient and kind (even willing to repeat info as needed)! A few of the residents agreed to talk and told me how much they loved it here. Issues are addressed quickly and suggestions are implemented well. They said about the staff, You can tell they really care.

As they say, there's no place like home but, Autumn Ridge provided a very caring, loving environment for my mother-in-law (Norma). She was not able to walk after her fall and life became a huge challenge. We Thank God that we found Autumn Ridge and we're grateful they welcomed her with open arms. Eventually, toward Normas final months we put her in the care of hospice. That was probably one of the best decisions we could have made, not only for her, but us as well. The communication was outstanding. We live in Fla. so were unable to physical be there. Her nurse, Lucy Noble was a God send, she faithfully called us every week to keep us informed on all aspects of Normas care. Between Lucy, the minister, Christella and care givers Tanya & Jordan, Norma had an additional layer of care. We were very comfortable knowing Norma was safe and secure and if any issues came up we were notified immediately. We honestly feel that Norms care was outstanding and we would highly recommend Autumn Ridge to anyone in need of assisted living. Its a tough decision and we hope this recommendation helps. I have been employed here for over a month and can honestly say it would be hard to find a more friendly work environment. The people here are always willing to help if you have questions and truly care about what they do. The care provided at Autumn Ridge is top notch, it would be hard to find a more dedicated team! Many of the people that work here have been with Autumn Ridge for a very long time as well. Longevity in the staff is always a great thing to see. It shows that the employees are dedicated to what they do and that they are being treated properly. I look forward to continuing my career with this great team!

My mother in law's condition began requiring more care than we were able to provide for her in our home. After much family discussion and searching, we decided to place her at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They treated her like their own family. My MIL made many friends, attended all the activities and seemed overall 'happier" than she'd been in years. Her medical condition eventually required the care of CNS hospice, and their additional care for Mom AND all the family members was more than we could have asked for. I can't begin to thank enough, the staff at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston, and CNS hospice.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. We moved my mom into Autumn Ridge a year ago and I have been incredibly impressed with both the staff and the facilities.The staff is responsive to her needs and takes wonderful care of her. They are incredibly attentive to her physical health, but I've actually been most impressed with the effort they take to get to know each resident. Everyone in the facility greets her by name. They bring her favorite dessert each evening and they help her style her hair before important outings. This level of care is unlike she received in other facilities she was previously in.I would highly recommend Autumn Ridge of Clarkston to families looking for a place for their loved one.

After having a poor experience with my grandma at another assisted living I am relieved and overjoyed at how amazing Autumn Ridge has been for her. The staff at Autumn Ridge is very accommodating, and gets to personally know each resident. The dining facility is wonderful and the dining staff even know what her favorite salad dressing is, as well as her other food preferences. The facility is always clean and well kept. Autumn Ridge provides outings and different recreational activities throughout the week to help keep the residents busy and stimulated. I would recommend this assisted living to anyone who is looking for a place for any of their family members.

My father and my grandmother were residents of Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. Not at the same time. These are loving, tender and well trained people. they strive to make every day the best it can be in difficult situations. I am so glad I found this community. My grandma had been at two other before we brought her there. She had dementia and physical issues. My father was not there very long, he had cancer and we brought him in on Hospice. Even though he wasnt up for utilizing the amenitites that the community offered, all we needed for him was having care available, at a moments notice and with the fast pace changes this cancer brought, their ability to make changes when necessary ( sometimes med changes were made two or three tiimes in a day) was astounding. I can't thank them enough for helping my father and my family through a very difficult time.

My grandfather has called Autumn Ridge home for the last two and half years and I cannot say enough kind things about the quality of care they have provided him. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. They really do treat him as if he is a member of their family. He loves the outings to local restaurants and all of the different activities that they offer on a daily basis. He also raves about how wonderful the food is at Autumn Ridge.Unhappy with the care she was receiving in another facility, my family chose to move my grandmother (other side of the family!) into Autumn Ridge. I am delighted to say that they have been so welcoming and helpful with her transition. What a relief it has been that she is finally getting the care and attention she deserves!Honestly, I can't imagine a better place to have both of my grandparents.

So far, everything at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston has been wonderful. My aunt is getting good care. The nurses have all been so very pleasant. We havent had any issues with non-response. Overall, it's been a good experience and I would definitely recommend it. The menu is decent, and the food is good. They would make something different if she wanted something else. If she wants more, I could go down and get her a second plate. Everybody was very pleasant and prompt in addressing her needs. The place is very nice and clean. I saw the activity sheet, and it was pretty awesome, but we never partook in any of them.

My mom has lived here for over 4 years. The staff is above and beyond! Suggestions are considered and often implemented. Dietary, meds and communications with management are clear and prompt. Maintenance-top notch! I would heartily and overwhelmingly recommend this over any facility in the area.

This community is so warm and beautiful. From the decor to the staff , it truly shines. I work for an outside agency and come to this community and many others on a regular basis. They are one of the best places I have been to. Their team has worked here for many years and treats the residents like their own family. I love it and I would refer here for my own loved ones.

My father-in-law has been at Autumn Ridge for almost two years and we couldn't be happier. He went in very reluctant but quickly consider the staff just part of his family. He tells all his older friends that it is the place to be!!

My father was in the memory care facility at Autumn Ridge for 16 months. Sadly he passed away a few weeks ago, in the same room he had occupied, The only regret I have was that he was not a resident sooner with his Dementia diagnosis. This placement allowed my stepmom and father to return to a 'husband/wife' relationship', rather than to continue the 'burnt out caregiver/patient role'. I was thrilled at the loving care Dad received, the safety they provided and the touching days that the two shared, during the last few months of his life. I encourage anyone to make a visit, at any time. As this way you can see the best way a facility operates.

Autumn Ridge was like a giant apartment building. It was a very big facility with very big gathering areas. However, I think it is confusing and hard for a lot of seniors to navigate. It was a very nice facility but very expensive. At the time I visited, I don't think they had an opening. The staff that I met seemed very nice, the facility was beautiful, and the common areas were very nice, but it was a very big complex.

My dad was at Autumn Ridge, and it was excellent. The staff went over and above with their care, and they were very personable with him. The room was spacious and had enough room for his bed, a dresser, and a recliner. At one time, he had a small kitchen table in there, a fridge, a microwave, and built-in storage. The food was very nice, and they give them a choice, two choices for their dinner. He had a hard time when he was ill, and when he couldnt make it down there, they would bring his dinner to him. They would take them to shopping or on outings, and they had someone that would come in, sing, and did pure exercises. I would recommend it to anyone.

My mom is in Autumn Ridge, and we chose this facility because they accept Medicaid. It is a beautiful place. The caretakers are on pagers which is nice. So she gets a quick response time. The food is good. She has a private room. They have physical therapy.
