Its such a difficult decision when choosing a Care Home for a loved one. I was faced with the task of doing that for both of my parents. I toured numerous facilities in my general location with an idea of what I was looking for in a facility, and Brookdale checked those boxes. Very Warm and comfortable atmosphere, multiple activities for residents, friendly staff and exceptional care. They also made the transition easy with their team approach. I highly recommended if your looking senior living community for your family member.

My mother was living in Ohio in a Brookdale facility in 2019 and was being moved back to Michigan to be near family. I contacted the Brookdale Grand Blanc Memory Care facility and spoke with Elizabeth Delaney who was instrumental in making the move happen quickly and efficiently. When my mother arrived in MI, I met with management and staff. Their knowledge and kindness eased my mind. I was able to return to my home (out of state) confident she was in good hands. The staff was always available to give me an update and answer questions when I called. My mother passed away in January. She lived at the Grand Blanc facility for 18 mos where she received wonderful care from the nurses-caregivers.

Mom has been at Brookdale Grand Blanc since September 2018. She started in the Assisted Living side where the team there did a great job. Unfortunately, after about 16 mos, further mental decline required her to move to the Memory Care side right before COVID ramped up. Christie, Elizabeth, Janelle and the rest of the MC team were great during that transition and have been super helpful the 12 mos since. While I cant stop in for lunch hour visits like before COVID, the team has been great with facilitating scheduled COVID safe visits, phone and video calls and sending pics of mom during different activities. The team also does a GREAT job coming up with innovative activities involving family members to the degree possible under current circumstances. We are also kept updated on COVID related info (i.e. govt. visitation guidelines, vaccine progress, etc.). Moms overall decline the last few years has been hard and now we have this COVID nightmare as a back drop. All of it has been easier to manage knowing we can count on the friendly Brookdale staff.

Husband is in BrookDale I am happy how theyre taking care of him and how caring the staff is in protective of them it might not be the Ritz every place has a little bit of problems at least they look out for love ones. Hes been in another place prior to this and he was always hurt had bruises but this place he has not been hurt at all. He seems to be content and happy with everything. I think God for the staff and the directors and the nursing here.

My husband is in there and he is doing fine he was in another place and he wasnt doing too good bruising all the time and getting hurt here hes at peace he hasnt been hurt or any bruises its not The Ritz and not every place is perfect but they take good care of our love ones . God bless the staff are taking good care of them I really appreciate it

So very happy with our decision to move my father into Brookdale Grand Blanc Memory care. All of the staff members are so caring, and you can really tell they are genuinely concerned about each residents care. The communication with family members is also first rate. I wouldnt want my Dad anywhere else.

My aunt was at Brookdale Village memory care in Holly MI for 1 year. The staff was awesome, and she received wonderful care. The caregivers were compassionate and made the transition to Brookdale easy for her and our family. They have plenty of activities for the residents as well as outings. The food always looked appetizing. Management was easily accessible by phone or in person. My only complaint was the pricing increased 3 times in that first year by over $1000.00. My aunt was high functioning and did not require a lot of physical care. She at most needed verbal cueing to do her morning care and to eat meals. She did not like to shower, so she needed oversight when bathing. I was extremely disappointed with the pricing increase and was unfortunately forced to move my aunt. If it were not for the drastic frequent increase in pricing, I would give them 5 stars.

I worked for this place I must say it was not only a clean and well kept facility but a fun place to work. The proceeds are fair but there is and was plenty of opportunities for advancement. Never had a problem with scheduling or paychecks being short ,late. Great place to start working for new CNA graduates. If your considering working here I would say place an application and follow it up. And if you are considering placing one of your loved ones you wont find a friendlier family of staff. Thats works hard to insure the very best care for your family. I know because my grand mother was placed here before her demise. Her care engaged me to work for this company. Happy hunting!
