I have had 15 enjoyable years here and I hope to have many more. Like every other business they have trouble finding enough staff. However the chefs have kept us well fed and activities have provided more than enough to do. The best thing is the pleasant attitude of everyone. So many services. Transportation to get your car fixed, even to get your bike fixed

I've been here for almost 17 years! It's been a GREAT fit for me! Just like living in a small town. I wouldn't have chosen to live anywhere else. As you walk about, you're always greeted with a friendly, "Good Morning," "Afternoon," or "Evening" by the residents and staff. It makes you feel like you're living in a small town where everyone knows you.

I dropped in with the paperwork to get Laura Piersma's assistant care going, especially medications. I still needed a doctor's signed list of meds with time and amount to be given - this should've been made clear at the larger care group meeting! Bethany very graciously came to talk with me and answered my questions. And informed me about why Med assistance was still not started.

My grandparents have lived at Freedom Village for years now and it has been nothing but a great experience! They have enjoyed their time with all of the different activities and made many friends while in the apartments, they are both now on the assisted living side and receiving wonderful care. Our mom lived in Freedom Village for about 15 years. She found it to be a very supportive, friendly and helpful community. Her last years were spent in Copper Harbor, assisted living, where the staff were amazing! She was supported in every way and as we visited her during her last weeks our whole family was welcomed and included. We can't say enough about the professional care our mom received at Copper Harbor and what a beautiful community Freedom Village is in which to reside. We recommend it also because Holland, Michigan is so pretty, hospitable, and friendly.

Freedom village is a beautiful place! I did my clinicals here for my CNA classes and it was a very impressive place where rehab, memory care, assisted living, and independent living is all pretty much under one roof! They have many activities for the residents here and lots of opportunities for employees!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting and touring the Freedom Village senior living location in Holland MI. with Shannon Mullaney. I've been caring for seniors for over ten years and this was such a pleasant surprise. So many amenities that my clients are searching for. I love the private space for visiting family and friends.

I've been here since March 16, 2022 and had wonderful conversations with neighbors on my floor, front desk, residents that participate in the activities that I have attended and have been very glad to meet new people. I enjoy going to the dining rooms to meet even more new people. I was living alone ever since my husband passed away in 2020 and had decided it was lonely, so my son and I toured a couple other places and chose Freedom Village. My son supported my choice wholeheartedly.

When people ask what we like about Freedom Village, it is hard to say only one thing. So i made a list: the awesome staff, they feed us, bake for us, they clean our apartments, the provide bed linens and towels, they have medical staff on duty 24/7, lots of activities such as gyms, pool, hot tub, wood shop, various card games, knitting,, quilliing, quilting , they provide rides to doctors, grocery stores, security, assisted and long term care when we need it, and best of all they allow our dog to live with us. With all of this and more.. They allow our family members to continue to live their lives and our families don't have to worry about taking care of us. How much love can you give your family . Come check us out and stop by and say Hi. Hope to see you all soon at Freedom Village. Also we were allowed to come and go as we wanted during this past year and 4 months..

Freedom Village is a beautiful facility and the staff have such a heart for the residence. The facility is better than any resort and offers a style of living like no other in the area.
