Less than 1 star - don't come here! My father was here for only 3 days and passed away in their so-called "care". We got a bill for 10 days of residence because we "signed a contract". Shame on you for not having enough compassion to lower that bill when we know full well that you probably had another resident in that same room the following week. Sounds like double-payment and poor service for these elderly folks.

My twin brother has been a resident of Lakeside Vista for 6 months. He loves the staff at Lakeside Vista! They are caring, understanding and assist him with all of his needs. He has developed a close relationship with a number of them that he likes to joke with. Hes satisfied with the food, likes the interaction with other residents at meals and overall enjoys living there.As his closest and only relative and his Power of Attorney, I appreciate the care and concern shown by the entire staff. Living in Illinois, it provides me assurance that he is being taken care of. They keep me informed when necessary, call me if theres a question regarding my brother and genuinely seem concerned about his well-being.It starts at the Marketing level when we first looked at facilities with Don Hillebrands, who provided us with all the information and a tour of the rooms, to the care of the Nursing Director, Erika Zoerhof, and her staff who address any concern you may have and even to the Dietary Department headed by Greg Davis to asking if my brother likes the food and what he would like to see more of. The daily Med-techs and aides that work in building #2 take great care of my brother. They often treat him as if he was their brother or sometimes Grandpa! I would recommend Lakeside Vista if you are looking for a homey caring atmosphere for your loved one.

Ive been at Lakeside for almost 2 years now and I can vouch that hard work never goes unnoticed. Lakeside is literally my second home and I love every minute of it. The staff is great, the residents are some of the finest ppl Ive ever been around and resident families are always caring and understanding. I would recommend that anyone that has a family member that needs top notch care bring them to Lakeside Vista. We go above and beyond to assure that the needs of the residents are met.

Ive worked at Lakeside Vista for about 2 years now. And let me tell you, I love my job! Its like my 2nd home. If Im not at home, Im at work. And I dont plan on leaving anytime soon.My residents are my number one priority. And I treat them like theyre my own Grandparents. Not only do I have good relationships with my residents. I also have good relationships with their family members, my coworkers, and management. I say we have a great team. Were like one big family! And like any other family, were not perfect. No one is. But if there is ever a problem or concern, we get through it and work together as a team...I count on my FAMILY. #TeamLSV

My mom spent about 15 months there, recently dying with hospice care. From day 1 I have felt at peace having the staff at Lakeside Vista care for her. The staff truly became her family, even greater after covid entered our lives. So, many staff went above and beyond in caring for her. I highly recommend them. I am in the facility three times a week and have always found the staff to be caring and knowledgeable. The living environment is very clean and the residents are well taken care of. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to place a loved one in an assisted living.

It seems like everyone who works there stocks the shelves for separate companies. The manager knew nothing about if they had certain products, even though there were spaces on the shelves for those products.

A beautiful place, with kind and dedicated staff. My father has been a resident at LakeSide Vista since June of 2019. I was the one who brought him there from the hospital and I was a complete wreck doing so cause I knew how adement he was about saying in his home. The friendly staff brought him to his room and he was joking with the staff right away. It was great weight taken off my shoulders. His room was spacious and clean. I felt safe leaving him there and when I returned to visit I couldnt find him in his room but I could hear him talking close by. He was visiting with a neighbor and having a good conversation with him. He saw me and said my daughters here to visit, I have to go. I was told by another staff member that they had a lot of activities for him to enjoy. I saw my dads face in a couple of their Facebook page photos. He really seems to enjoy it there.. Ive had a few instances where I had questions and I was given a few numbers to call and my questions were answered quickly and respectfully. I would recommend LakeSide Vista! They even have certain days were some members of his family can join him for dinner,. Keep up the great service LSV and staff!

I have had the pleasure of working with the team at Lake Side Vista for several years now. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. The residents are happy and well taken care of. The facility is bright, cheerful, and welcoming! It is extremely well taken care of and clean, inside and out! Always a pleasant experience!

Lakeside Vista has been one of my top most rewarding jobs Ive had the pleasure of being employed through. The lengths that management and care staff go to, to keep a little bit of normalcy in their live during this strange time is truly heart warming. The activities staff is always thinking outside the box to continue to engage their mind, body and spirit. They say if you love your job you never work a day in your life. When tragedy hit the facility the staff grouped together to fill the void a much loved staff member left behind for both the residents and their families as well as their loss. Team work up and above what would be called normal. Over a month has gone by and love and strength has and still is constant reminder of the facility and their staff commitment to all. This is a challenging time to transition a loved one to assisted living, but Lakeside Vista staff helped this happen in the best possible way. Everyone on their staff has gone above and beyond to help my mother-in-law mother-in-law comfortable.I am so impressed with the staff. The marketing director helped with every step of the process. From helping us to learn about Lakeside Vista to assisting with our billing.The nurse and her staff found solutions to so many of our problems. Helping my mother-in-law to understand her new med routine, suggesting an shower, bath options and assisting me with finding the right bed. appreciate The Life Enrichment Director who scheduled our outside visits, helping us with any questions we have and always having a positive attitude when she sits with us during our visits. She is fun to be around and I can see that she brings a lot of pleasure to your residents.I am so happy with our choice and wholeheartedly recommend Lakeside Vista!

This is such a beautiful facility that offers different levels of care so that as your loved ones needs change they can change with these needs. The staff are very kind and attentive and there is wonderful communication between the staff and the residents and the families. My Mom says, everyone is so kind, referring to the staff. The home has scheduled activities and outings for the residents. They have a menu for residents, but are willing to give them substitute items, if the resident doesnt like what is being served. It is a great place!

Mom has been there just 2 weeks and I can notice the difference in her. She is laughing, joining in the activities and loves her room. She can sit in the Livingroom area and watch TV on a couch or just be with others. She eats in the kitchen area, just like home. Then retires to her room for a nap or the night. The staff are all very nice, which I didnt hear at the other place I had her. Management worked with me to get her in and made phone calls to get the information they needed. This has been a wonderful experience for both of us!

I have had the pleasure of working at this wonderful facility now for almost 2 Months. I love every single employee that I get to work with each and every day. This has seriously been one of the best jobs Ive ever had. I love seeing everyone come together to put a smile on our residents faces every single day. I am very passionate about what I do, and this place has become my second home.
