American House Grosse Pointe is amazing! I have been in this community many times, the team is so friendly, the residents always have a smile on their faces. The community is clean and welcoming. I stopped by last week and the residents were enjoying lunch on the courtyard. If you haven't been, you need to go!!! We have been through a lot together over the past 8 years or so...we consider the other residents and staff a part of our extended family. As with all families things come up...communication is key and we get through it together. We are very grateful to have expanded our family with American House GP Cottage! Located on Kercheval Ave in Grosse Pointe Farms within Henry Ford Cottage hospital, this Senior Living Community is one of the most caring and welcoming in all of Wayne County. The one thing that most impresses me about American House Cottage is how clean it is! Take a tour soon to see it in person.

My 93 year old Mother has been at American House Memory Care for the past 11 months and we have been pleased with the facility, staff, and care. The new Executive Director has provided excellent leadership and listens and communicates well with both Residents and Family Members. Morale is high among Nurses and Aides and we especially enjoy the wide range of Weekly Activities that my Mom can take part in. A great choice for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care

Had an appointment to tour this facility. Danielle was a great tour guide, open to questions and forthright in her answers. Residents in independent, assisted, and memory units were actively involved in activities. Looks like nice outdoor facilities for spring and summer. Pricing provided looked reasonable.

I used to be a nurse at Cottage hospital back in the 90s then moved to Florida for 28 years. Well I moved back and to my surprise they had made a beautiful Assisted living out of part of this historical building. I cant think of a better place to live as a senior, not only is the building proper gorgeous the neighborhood and community is one of the best in all of Michigan!
