Terrible food. It's disgraceful what they feed these poor people. Also, there is no backup generator. When they lost power last year they had to bus elderly people to shelter locations. The apartments and grounds are pretty, but they need to work on the management and especially the kitchen.

It is fairly affordable so that is nice. I like that there is plenty of space for the residents to walk inside.. Dark and dingy inside. Could use aLOT of brightening up. Staff is ok, not real responsive.

There’s something about the historical buildings and grounds that beckoned me to live here. The staff are friendly, the residents kind. You can be as active as you want to be with excursions, daily events and celebrations, or find a quiet nook and just relax. The convenience of having my doctor and other health practitioners right here is a great benefit. I’d recommend to others in a heartbeat.

This was the first time I had the opportunity to tour the apartments and amenities!! The nostalgia of Villa Maria is an interesting topic in itself. Tim Vantongren is an amazing host and tour guide!! Villa Maria seems like a great place for seniors and non seniors who are disabled to "LIVE!"

residents appeared comfortable and friendly, area that I observerd was organized and clean/ carpets good. Elevator working properly. Residentsl 2 bedroom is roomy. Parking a short walk to entrance. So one resident staff was friendly. Handicap accessible.

Working in the kitchen and dining room at the Villa was my first job and I LOVED it! My grandparents also lived there for several years. It's not the fanciest retirement community you'll find, but that's one of the reasons why it's so affordable. Sure, there are places out there that have more to offer, but it will cost you. My Grandparents were happy there and I had a blast working in the kitchen and interacting with the residents and miss those days!
