This is my fifth visit to a rehab rehabilitation center after leaving hospital for complication due to SCI surgery. I think Shepherd in Atlanta, Georgia the best but they are a class own.my number two WELLBRIDGE OF GRAND BLANC. The facility is very well kept cleaned inside and out spotless the yard as well maintain the people are very friendly so when I walked through the door, I felt quite comfortably first day walking in no problem no issue I feel like I was welcome the rest of them I won’t mention them here, cause the best I would give them would be three stars.

I have been a resident at Wellbridge GB for close to 3 years. The building is beautiful and clean and my visitors say it resembles a high end hotel. The employees feel more like family than caregivers. The nurses and CNA’s take incredible care of the residents as if they were taking care of their favorite grandma. There are lots of activities and entertainment. I would feel safe leaving my 91 year old mom here. Thank you for taking care of me.

The cook at the Bistro at Wellbridge in Grand Blanc is so friendly and is a wonderful cook! My Dad was here for 3 weeks who came here to rehab after leg surgery. The majority of staff is very friendly helpful, and professional. We had a few hiccups while he was there. On the weekend, they do not have the necessary nursing staff. My brother and I had to help my Dad to get on commode because CNA took too long to arrive. Another time, the CNA wasn't paying enough attention to my Dad when he was getting up from commode and he lost his balance and fell and caught himself on edge of commode. The worst incident happened during 3rd shift. The CNA was not happy that Dad had a catheter with a leg bag instead of a full bag. It meant she would have to change him 3 times during her shift. So she opened it up and the urine went all over my Dad and the bed. She left him like that in the bed. Dad pushed the buzzer at 1 am for help and the same CNA did not return until 5 am. She changed the sheets while Dad still in bed. She could have had him go to wheelchair but she didn't. She also changed my Dad's clothes. Dad told 1st shift CNA about it. He got Dad a shower. This first shift CNA Dad had was the best. If he said he would do something he did it. He treated my Dad and the rest of family with respect. I have forgotten his name but he is a thin man with dark hair and most of the time very happy.The cleaning crew came in and cleaned and disinfected Dad's bed and carpeting. Other nurses came in and talked to Dad about incident. A manager came in to talk to Dad the next day. The next 3rd shift Dad had a different CNA. One or two bad apples does not negate the rest of the good care he had. The physical therapy and occupational therapy my Dad received was excellent!

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is the non medical help is amazing. The medical help is -10 stars. They don't answer calls for an hour. They poop themselves? Let them sit in it for an hour. Doctor's orders? Only a suggestion. They are horrible. They blame the employers. Nope. Your fault. It's the car you're providing. If give them -100 stars for actual medical help. Even the doctors are too old to know new things that have happened in the last 5 years

I gave the facility it self a 5 star rating but there has to be some way of weeding out the employees that have no heart cause we all know it takes heart to do this line of work . These patients have no voice or choice in their care . Please try to teach your employees compassion. Workers now a days have no heart . So sad such a beautiful facility but no heart . New review I judged employees before they really knew what was required of them but now they know my brother is getting the best of care and I couldn’t be happier with Welbridge of Grand Blanc . It’s probably the cleanest health care facility I have ever been in and now that the workers know my brother he’s getting the best of care and I think he really has grown to like it there. My mother was a hospice patient in the 100 hall for almost 7 months prior to her passing away last week. I cannot say enough about the wonderful people who took care of her. The staff is top notch and very caring. This beautiful facility is immaculate, and everyone I came in contact with from the reception area, business office, to nurses and aides couldn't have been kinder.

I just spent 4 weeks at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc after back surgery! I was treated with utmost care and respect! The nurses and aides I had on the 700 wing were very good to me! Then there was Andrew and Allison in the therapy dept! I went everyday and they did not take no for an answer! If I ever need to go back to rehab, it will be there! Thank you all so much!

3 Stars because the facility itself is a very clean, and nice place. The first day my stepmom was there was great, as they usually are. Everything went downhill the next day. She has a lot of issues taking medication. She is highly allergic to a very long list of medications as well as anesthesia. My dad explained to the intake nurse that she cannot take all of her medications at the same time, she made note of it and said it’d be no problem. However, every time they brought her meds to her, they had them all in a cup and stood there and told her she had to take them while they watched. After attempting several times to explain that she can’t take them all at once, they grabbed them away from her and left the room. This was of course after already being 2 hours late bringing them in the first place. Also, she is unable to walk at the moment and had to take her meals in her room. She had to wait until everyone was done eating in the dining room for someone to bring her very cold meal to her. After two days of this treatment my dad packed her up and took her home. They want her to go back after her surgery this week but he’s not going to let her go there. Do better!

Raychelle stood out among everyone on the WellBridge team and truly provided my mom the greatest few months of her life. She also supported my husband and I in caring for mom and helped us feel at peace whenever we couldn’t be with her. WellBridge is a beautiful place inside and out. April 2024 Addendum review: Families tend to talk amongst themselves about their loved ones "good" caregivers....but sometimes we forget to tell them. I wanted to give a shout out to some of my Mom's regular caregivers. They have gone above and beyond to care for my Mom and the others in her hall. Hopefully this will be an encouragement to them. Terilyn, she has been my Mom's caregiver the longest. I tell her she treats Mom like she is another daughter. She sometimes calls my Mom, "Mama" and another gentleman "Papa". I love that. Terilyn loves her residents and has built relationships with them, treating them with efficiency, knowledge, compassion, meeting their physical and emotional needs. Families can feel relaxed when she is there. Chelsi and Rachelle, These two are a pair! They are a great team together, working in tandem. Chelsi is efficient and tireless. I've seen her continue to show kindness in difficult situations. She has a natural sweet and nurturing quality about her that comforts families and residents alike. Rachelle is intuitive to peoples needs be it some little comfort thing that a particular person likes or a care issue. She gets things taken care of. They are both very capable. Families can feel relaxed when they are there. Christine and Keara are newer but we are so pleased. They are showing these same qualities. Good, thorough care with kindness and compassion. I would like to mention Evaline as well. She has taken the time to talk to Mom and get to know her while she is giving nursing care. They laugh and at times she has comforted my Mom when she was troubled about something. Mom thinks of her as a friend. Corinna, while Corinna is not a regular on Mom's hall, she filled in recently, when Mom had some extra needs. She worked tirelessly the whole shift to help the situation improve. It added to her already busy day and is appreciated more than she knows Originally I hesitated to point people out as I don't want to leave anyone out. There are other good people who have cared for my Mom , like April, Cash and the other Keara. 🙂 (Please forgive my misspelled names) As a family member, I think I can speak for others in this hall, (of course the care quality is most important) but in addition to that is the fact that they are able to know our families and build relationships with these residents. That is a comfort to the resident. Our family members are not just a to do list to these girls. I have become friends with these residents and they often ask me who is working...when it is any one of these girls, they smile and are happy and say "oh good". So, Thank you! We love you. Peggy's family. ************** My mom has been at Wellbridge for 1 year. Since the change in management, with the arrival of the new Director, Shanda and the Director of Nursing, Shawna, I have begun to see real change for the better. I have personally seen their desire and efforts to bring the quality of care for residents to a level that they would want their own family member to have. I have real respect for these two ladies. I really like that there is a nurse available for each hall, a great therapy department and accessibility to their PA, Mandy, who is on site Monday through Friday. She has been a great help and always shows compassion and care. The Activities Department has really improved as well. The Activity Assistants really care and make efforts to provide a better quality of life for residents, you can tell that they have a good time with them. We have some very special people that take care of my mom. I truly appreciate them. When they are there, I know I don't need to be concerned about her. 🙂 These are the reasons I will give a 5 star rating.

WellBridge of Grand Blanc is very nice and clean my father was there for 2 weeks for Hospice care and did a very good job taking care of him making him comfortable. The nurses and aids in the 100 hall were all great that always made sure we were taken care of also. The top management was also very helpful and answered any questions we had overall I would recommend any of my friends and family to this place for any needs.

The nurses and cenas and the cleaning staff are absolutely fabulous as are the remaining staff however the doctor is horrendous but if you don't anticipate seeing the doctor I'd highly recommend this establishment but the doctor will not see you rather he'll walk in and ask you what's wrong and then jump up and promptly leave without saying another word and in my opinion he is only there to collect a paycheck so basically this place is terrific for therapy but nothing more
