The staff is wonderful and very kind. They have many activities available, if the resident chooses to participate. The only downfall is the food. My family member has lived there for over five years and they have gone through many “chefs”. Often times the food is inedible. I would blame the cook, but as I said, there have been a vast variety of cooks, so I can only presume it is due to the food budget. This is a major concern for us as we are entrusting our loved ones well-being to these people. I would think twice before placing my loved one here if you are depending on them getting quality food that they will be willing to eat.

For about 21 months our mother had been a resident of Woodhaven. We have nothing but positive things to say about the facility and the wonderful staff who work there. Everyone is so kind, helpful and eager to be of assistance. The place is kept clean, the laundry is cared for and the meals are excellent! They also work hard make sure there are many wonderful activities for the residents. As a place for independent living, you could really do no better. All the staff and residents became family to us. Due to mom’s progressively worsening dementia, we felt it necessary to move her to a long-term care facility. However, we will have nothing but pleasant and wonderful memories of Woodhaven and all of the people we were privileged to get to know. Many many thanks to all of you for taking such good care of mom! We appreciate all of your excellent service and love. We will never forget you! Family of former Woodhaven Resident
