My gf just moved in. Its still as nice as it was back in the 70s when I lived across the st from it. Every one I met sitting out side was very friendly. My gf is happy with her studio apartment also.

There are many reason I'd continue to stay after the heater incident: Staff and most neighbors are nice/friendly, it's in a safe area, walking distance to a wide variety of entertainment, 2 colleges nearby, there's elevators and carts for laundry & grocerys, quiet. Many reasons to love living here....

Well after the bad review was posted my next phone call lead to the heater being replaced with one that works. That was appreciated. 3.12.2025.

False advertising here. It is winter right now and a few weeks ago Mgmt replaced my recently broken heater, with a broken heater and I was assured it is okay for me to use and drag around my space heater. I am so angry and disappointed with this situation and the obvious lack of intergity in mgmt. I pay my rent and was told heat included. Glad I had a space heater already! I did not need to use it last winter when I moved in. And now I doubt I'll have air conditioning this summer because this thing doesn't work right. I cranked it up to 90° F and after 4 hours the thermostat only went up 1 degree. After 4 hours of blowing almost cold air. And cold air comes through the vents from it. The no smoking policy is not kept by tenants. Posted signs ignored. I thought all buildings were supposed to evacuate and get an all clear from the Fire Dept when a building fire alarm goes off. Not here. When i contacted office of my concern for how it was handled, [name removed] informed me about No sprinklers and the Fire Dept is not contacted when the building fire alarm goes off. There are many vulnerable people here. I fear I'll be targeted for eviction by telling all this

Very quiet, clean, pleasant residents, well lit. Enjoyed talking to Mr. Clarence. I appreciate him taking the time out to show available apartments. Inside of actual apartments, walls were freshly painted, and the carpet was well taken care of. There wasn't any cigarette smells or carpet burns. The kitchen, cabinets, closets, and bathroom were very clean n nice. Beyond my expectations! No bad smell was present at all that I could notice

I have a friend that lives here and I went to visit him and it is a large seven or eight story apartment building. For senior's only. There's a security entrance. Large parking lot. Just minutes from the cultural center.

Professional, CARING Staff ! Nice Apartments and Facilities and Friendly Residents. We were visiting, but Staff and Residents alike treated us as if we were long time residents. Highly recommend them for a old neighborhood style atmosphere where you got to know your neighbors by name.
