Orchard care home was not the first assisted living home our family looked at.A friend of my mother's from her church told us about this home . My mother was well cared for and Emilly and her family were wonderful to her She enjoy the homemade soup and meals they made for her every day. Emilly arranged her therapy and all her home Dr visits .If you are lucky enough to find a opening in this assisted living home.

I can't recommend orchard view enough. Declines from covid lockdown isolation were being reversed for grandma while she was there. Home cooked meals and a genuinely caring staff were beyond anywhere else I've seen. They were strict with covid protocol but understanding that our loved one needed us. They were very accommodating with us doing zoom calls with the rest of the family and doing our best to bring the familiar back to her room. You will not be disappointed with this adult care home.

My Dad was Orchars view care home for 9 months. Most of which was during Covid. During this time Emily arranged zoom visits for us. During the warm Months we had porch visits. Emily was very sensitive to our religious beliefs. She streamed services for my Dad to watch for Shabbat. His room was decorated for Passover and Chanukah. The resisidents spent their time participating in meaningful activities. Including crafts , exercise & music therapy. My Dad enjoyed spending time with Jason and Tom. He didn’t realize they were his caregivers. It was nice for him that there were men around. On my Dads birthday his walker was decorated. This meant so much to us. Knowing how they cared for him. The entire Pop Family valued family relationships and aided their resisidents to participate in their own families. On my Moms birthday she received flowers From my “Dad” via Emily. Could there be anything kinder ? Until his last day the Pops treated my Dad with care and respect we couldn’t of asked for anything more.

Maria, Tom, Emily and family are the most caring caregivers! My dad spent his last few weeks of life at Orchard View Care Home and absolutely loved the family and home. The home is clean, warm and loving. The rooms are spacious, the food is homemade and delicious with a backyard garden! I can recommend this caring home with the utmost confidence!

We were recommended to Orchard View from a hospice nurse. Our father was in his last stage of life and we had to find a care home for him. He wanted to pass in his own home, but that wasn't an option. When we went to visit the home and met Emily and her family, it was like we knew them forever. My dad was very uncertain what to expect. He couldn't have been more comfortable in his own home. They treated him like family. They are awesome people. They went above and beyond for him. I highly recommend them!

I have been the elderly care organizer for many of my family members over the last six years. I’ve visited and interviewed many kinds of facilities and homes and organized different kinds of care. Nobody can compare to Orchard View Care Home owned and operated by Tom and Maria Pop. My cousin is currently living with the Pops after having to leave her home because of physical disabilities. The level of care at Orchard View is the best I’ve ever seen. It is a very quiet, calm and loving home that is kept immaculately clean. Owners Tom and Maria live in the house. Residents at Orchard View are cared for like family including being checked on every few hours at night and being served delicious home cooked meals with garden fresh foods including home made jams, pickles and more. Emily, their daughter is house manager and is incredible. She has become an extension of my right hand with organizing medical care, keeping me informed of changes in health issues and being my eyes and ears on anything that pops up when I am out of town. Emily is an amazing partner in helping me manage my cousin’s care and having her by my side lifts a world of weight off my shoulders and sets my mind at ease. It’s never easy moving a loved from a home but when the new home is filled with genuine love, compassionate care, a warm, comfortable setting, and years of experience you just can’t ask for more. I cannot recommend Orchard View Care Home highly enough. So very thankful I have found a place to provide loving care for anyone in my family.

One of the most stressful situations a family can face is the realization that a loved one needs significantly more care then they can provide for themselves. With the constraints of jobs, family obligations and finances, the stress and anxiety can seem overwhelming. My aunt was living in an independent living setting when it became clear that she needed a higher level of care. After extensive review and evaluation of various options for care, including memory care facilities and nursing homes, our family was so fortunate to find Orchard View. Just walking in to Orchard View, you knew this was something different. The Pop family welcomed my aunt with open arms. Residents are not “patients” – they are part of the family. The house is warm and homey, spotlessly clean and the food is delicious and all home cooked, much of it from their huge garden. Having the same caregivers each day was such a comfort for both my aunt and our family. They quickly knew her habits, likes and dislikes, and were the first to notice when something was amiss. Family was encouraged to visit and always received a delicious treat of whatever was coming out of the kitchen. We became part of the Orchard View family too. Right away we noticed a change in my aunt – her confusion and anxiety decreased, and we could tell she felt comfortable and cared for. Little things that had always been important to my aunt like dressing well and making sure her hair and nails were done, were always taken care of by the loving staff. Visits with family members became much more enjoyable knowing that she was receiving excellent care in a way that we would not have been able to provide. It was clear that she had found her home. The love and care everyone at Orchard View showed my aunt gave our family peace of mind and allowed her to live out her days with dignity, surrounded by people who loved her. We are forever grateful to this wonderful family for what they do.

Orchard View Care Home is a wonderfully warm and welcoming home. Tom, Maria, Emi, and Manya as owners and staff, do a phenomenal job with care, support, and love for all who reside here. They genuinely invests themselves in understanding and addressing all care needs for those in residence. The food is fresh, healthy, and excellent. The home is immaculate. We couldn't have chosen a more loving care home for our dad. The owners and their family treated our dad and our family with love and respect. The home-cooked meals and desserts are delicious. The home is very bright and is always clean. The owners are happy to have visitors for their residents. It was always comforting to know our dad was in the best care home he could be in. Great place. My mom was with them for 8 weeks recovering from cancer treatment. At 86 years of age, she was in rough shape and eating very little. She was scheduled to transfer from the hospital into a rehab center when a social worker recommended that I check out this adult foster care home run by this nice Romanian family. I thought to myself is she serious? Im about ready to check my Mom into a state of the art rehab facility - Maple Manor. They have a team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and nutritionists, ready help. A Romanian family? What!?! Well I am so happy that I took the time to visit Orchard View Home and meet the family. Placing her there was one of the best decisions of my life. She got the personalized care she needed to recover and return home. They coached her into eating again and customized the meals and snacks to maximize her food intake. No way she would have gotten this level of attention in a traditional rehab facility. I love how all the residents sit together at the dinner table 3 times per day for meals. Residents are not left in their rooms and sent a tray of food. Its as close to a family setting as you can get when mom or dad can no longer live at home. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Thank you so much Emily, Dora, Tom, and Maria. Will never forget you guys! Love Steve

Testimony for Ralph Rivers After the loss of my mother-in-law, a resident of Orchard View, we asked if they would be willing to take my father a double stroke victim as a resident so he could experience the same care. They were more than willing to work with him. At the age of 94 he was living in a nursing home withering away. A gentle man, he complained daily about his jelled food meals and was hungry. Marie and Tom and the staff gave him back a real life, a home, love, compassion and even real food, not jelled! He raved all the time about the good, the staff and his care! This facility is everything you could want for your senior loved one. It is a beautiful, refreshing and a very clean home; outstanding owners and staff who are actually on the premises 24-7; combined with a lot of laugher, tenderness and love given to your senior and most of all they are treated with respect and dignity. This facility is #1 in my book and I encourage those looking for a home for that special loved one, to call Orchard View, you will never be sorry.

This is a family run assisted living facility by Maria and her husband. Maria has been doing this line of work for decades and I have visited them monthly for years as well. The food and in particular dessert is as good as it gets, comparable to food served in fine restaurants. They treat every resident like theyre a member of their own family.

My husband has been at Orchard View Care home since March 2017. He had a rough start getting adjusted, but the family assured me he would be fine.Their advice to have me explain to my husband that this would be his new home was spot on. It never occurred to me to have such a conversation with him. The family and staff are very accommodating. My husband is young at 58 and requires more that the other residents in terms of activity (e.g., outdoor walks). On nice days, I take him out, but the family and staff do as well. The meals are amazing in terms of nutrition and presentation. Our family visits often, and we always feel welcome. In fact, we were pleased to see an additional chair was put in his room so we have another place to sit. To those facing the difficult decision of placing a loved one in a facility, I highly recommend Orchard View Care Home.
