Hopefully it had changed since 2021. My mom was there for almost one year. After wondering about the confusion of my moms meds we realized a worker was stealing it. The director fired her and said he filed a police report not sure if he did as he no longer is employed there. I had taken my mom out for Easter in 2021 spoiled her with a Mary Kay makeover and purchased most of all they used on her. I brought her back to Northwoods end of April. I was able to visit and spend the night because Covid restrictions were lifted. Her brand new product was in her bathroom and I would stay for 3 days each week. Towards the end of May I noticed all of it was gone out of her room. No one in our family touched it and it was over $300 in skincare. I knew someone working there took it. I did get reimbursed by the director and he told me to add to the police report on that one that took the meds. Problem was she had been gone for over 5 weeks so someone else took it. In June my mom was needing to be placed in a nursing home, we moved everything out and when I went to get my moms purse I opened it ti see someone had taken out all the gift cards she had in there. She had a lot as grandchildren gave them as Christmas gifts. There had to be close to $700 ish in gift cards. GONE her cash was gone also just regular credit cards were left as you can trace those. As far as the aids there were mostly wonderful. One I felt was verbally abusive to my mom, in front of me too. My mom was really losing it toward the end and I know this work is not easy work.
