I have only been living here for 9 days and I just love ❤️ it here. I have never lived alone or in an apartment but I love my apartment it is so beautiful and cozy. The staff here is fabulous each and every one of them. The food is exceptional. The other residents are very sweet and welcoming. Josh who does all the maintenance here is very knowledgeable and all you have to do is mention to him that you need something done he is there immediately to fix it. I know I am going to be very happy here. A very special thank you goes to my best friend/Sister Donna for talking me into moving here. She has changed my life and I love her dearly. I would definitely recommend Oakmont Parkway to anyone!! I give it 10 STARS!!!

When first entering Oakmont Parkway I was struck by the warm welcome provided by Cyndi Tanner, the Executive Director, and Deborah Palasik, the Business Office Director. Cyndi reviewed thoroughly the various floor plans and provided a tour of the facility, which is beautifully decorated. Toni Griffin, the site supervisor for Balanced Home Care, reviewed the care packages and assisted with the selection of the best option for my mother. The staff is focused on making the stay of the residents and guests as comfortable as possible. The dining staff are accommodating and helpful. There are also many wonderful activities provided to occupy the time of the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Oakmont Parkway to any of my friends or family.

I have been coming very frequently to visit my grandma over the past few months, and have heard nothing but amazing things about her new home. She, along with many other residents, report how friendly and helpful the staff is, as well as how great all of their meals are. She loves the crafts, Bingo games, movie nights, and Happy Hour parties especially! This is a wonderful, welcoming community to be a part of!

Our Mom has lived at Oakmont Parkway for the past 5 years. Although she was reluctant to leave her home and reside in a Senior Community, it has been a great experience. She has made many friends.The staff is outstanding. The food is wonderful and our Moms health and nutrition improved dramatically over living alone at home. It is great that she shares meal time with other residents. The staff is so caring. She frequently mentions Mark who usually works in the dining room. But all of the staff, from Cindy the Director to the housekeepers are caring and loving. They keep her linens and clothing clean and tidy. Her room is always very clean. Josh the maintenance guy is always helpful to make certain that everything works from changing light bulbs to fixing the cable tv when the input gets messed up.My Mom enjoys the many social activities, like Bingo and the many routine special events and days. She also loves to attend the rosary and mass which is available on site. The chair excercise class provides a diversion and a way to stay healthy. The availability of additional caregivers and rehab staff, podiatrist have been extremely helpful when needed.The staff has done a superb job navigating the challenges of the pandemic while keeping our loved ones safe. They have also done a great job of helping the families stay connected within safe limits.The on site beautician and nail technicians have been something that keeps her beautiful and she always looks forward to. A Community of Beauty. We couldnt have made a better choice in selecting Oakmont for my father. When we moved my dad there late last year, he was failing in health and had lost his zest for life after losing his lovely wife to cancer. Right from the beginning the staff was warm and welcoming in calling him by name and treating him, and us, with kindness. It immediately felt like Home! My dad has commented several times how nice everyone is. A few months later hes adjusted to his new surroundings and enjoying his life there. Ive added some photos to show his progress as our family is happy to see him thriving in his new environment. I cant say enough good things about the staff. We are so grateful to everyone whom cares for our father and the entire community. I want to thank the women that clean his apartment, do his laundry, the wait staff and cooks, the hairdresser whom cuts his hair, the girls at Home Care Balance whom always say Hi, and to the Management team that greets us everyday, oversees the safety of our loved ones, and ensures everything runs smoothly. Its the Taj Mahal of Senior communities with its beautiful decor and luxurious surroundings. I know if my father had selected his own place 20 years ago, he would be quite pleased that we chose Oakmont. It is because of the staff whom is caring for our families that it is truly a community of Beauty!

This place is great I am so glad I picked Oakmont Parkway to live. The food is really good I never can get hungry living here. The staff that cleans my room and does my laundry is exceptional and the rest of the staff is always very kind and available when I need something. The have activities that I enjoy like Bingo and happy hour along with transportation if I need to go somewhere or have an appointment. We looked at many other communities before selecting this one and I am so happy with my choice. All my needs are met here and the staff really makes it pleasant to live here.

My sister and I visited Oakmont Parkway this morning. We are looking for a place that would fit our moms needs. This community seems to have everything we are looking for. We are bringing our mom on Friday, we just know that she will love it!

Our mom moved in a little over a week ago, but the process started in May. The Assistant Director, Julie, has bent over backwards working with us and rehabilitation to get Mom moved in. All the postponements in the world never ruffled Julie and she kept us positive. Mom was nervous, even afraid, of moving in but the staff - from administrators, front desk, dining, housekeeping, activities, and auxiliary services (I hope I havent forgotten anyone) have been so nice to Mom. This place is awesome and the evidence is visible in the residents, who all welcome and socialize with each other in the same kind demeanor you see in the staff. We are thankful Oakmont Parkway exists!

All in all its a very nice community. I would like to give a shout out to the Activity Team who go at great lengths to entertain us from birthdays, shopping, entertainment list goes on. To the ladies who take care of my room laundry, it always smells so fresh when done. (especially my apartment.The receptionists are outstanding, they help in anyway they can. You can pretty much count on a smile from them. Heres the tricky part, the food. You hear complaints but it they dont direct it to the server or dietary supervisor it cant be resolved. There are to many empty carbs, cheese items ect. Maybe a survey might help but dont want to open up can of worms. The rice one time was over cooked and had pieces of vegetables. One I thought looked like coffee grounds. The vegetables will be over cooked loosing it nutrients. Im wish I could give 5 ⭐s.

Oakmont Parkway is a great place. The building is well maintained and beautifully decorated but more importantly the staff is the best. From housekeeping to dinning to activities the staff is always friendly and very helpful. The administrative staff is great always available and responsive to any concerns. Oakmont Parkway offers its residents a wide variety of activities and outings, something for everyone. Best decision ever.

I have worked for Oakmont Parkway since 2008. Over eleven years I have seen many great changes. Our Chef and Kitchen staff are so awesome, they will bend over backwards to accommodate our residents wishes. I spoke with a transport person (he was bringing a resident back from therapy) he said that he thought our place was Better than most places.

Last year my stepdad told me that he is no longer going to live in his house alone (up in the thumb) and I had about two days to figure out what to do. I reached out and spoke to Sheila who was absolutely wonderful and I was scheduled that afternoon for a visit. Then I met Cyndi, the executive director at Oakmont Parkway. I immediately felt comfortable with this huge decision as I noticed all the residents approaching her during the tour asking for various items. She was calm and responsive to all their needs. That was a good sign to me. Almost a year in a half later, I still could not be happier. They have been handling the COVID-19 virus spread appropriately. Restrictions have been significant which has been appreciated. They have been forthright with information throughout this situation letting the residents and family know about potential contaminations, etc. In general, the food is excellent, the place is clean and they have a lot of activities (prior to the virus). I feel extremely fortunate to have found this place and would recommend it to everyone.

I am a resident of Oakmont Parkway it is easy living. No Place Like Home. Everyone is very caring and a very friendly atmosphere. Great food, Great neighbors and Great staff. My caregiver Donna gave me a 100th Birthday Party in the Activity Room that turned out to be wonderful! With the help of the staff Debbie the Supervisor of the Kitchen, Barb the Activity Director andCyndi the Executive Director I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you to all!

Im a care giver for one of the residents that lives here. The staff couldnt be more caring and helpful, everyone wears a smile on their face. The food here is awesome! The other residents seem more like family to me, they are always asking how im doing. They helped me with a Birthday Party for my charge and he really appreciated all the people that showed up.

I have met a lot of friendly people here. I feel safe and independent. I love singing Karaoke with my friends. We go out to many different places to eat as a group. Oh, and dont forget that we have Bingo three days a week. I love it here!

I toured Oakmont Parkway and found this place to be beautiful and so friendly. I spoke with some residents and they spoke very highly of the staff. They answered all my questions and let me try Lunch. I loved the food! I will be taking my Mom back to check out the rooms.

My mother has been a resident here for the last six months. The staffs attention to detail is impressive. Rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The food is fine-restaurant quality. The management responds quickly to issues and strives to create a happy, family atmosphere.

We visited quite a few senior communities, and found the perfect place for my parents at Oakmont Parkway. The apartment is beautiful, the building and grounds are lovely, and we knew they would be safe there. My parents love the food and all of the activities. The extras are just terrific....the Halloween party, Christmas events etc that make things at Oakmont extra special. The most important thing though is the staff. Each staff member has been top notch. They immediately got to know my parents personally. They genuinely care so much about all residents and their families. They are so attentive to all of my parents needs. The overall kindness that the staff at Oakmont Parkway has shown to our family has meant the world to us. I can not recommend Oakmont Parkway enough.

Happy! That is how my dad has been since moving into Oakmont Parkway over five years ago. The staff and residents are friendly and the many activities keep him busy. It is reassuring to know that he has his meals and housekeeping tasks done for him. Oakmont has allowed my dad to feel independent even though physically he has some limitations.
