My mom was a patient at WellBridge Clarkston for a little over a week. I had concerns about how her care would go, so I had a meeting with the director, Luke. Then I had a discussion with her nurse, D. They were very understanding of her needs. She has a bit of dementia and I worried she wouldn't be able to push her request button. We decided they would check on her approximately every two hours in the night and make sure she was dressed and sitting in a chair for her meals everyday. On the whole, they took very good care of her. My dad, Sandy (her caregiver), and I were there throughout each day to help care for her. Wellbridge staff were caring, thoughtful,, and compassionate. The food was wonderful and always tasty and warm. I would recommend WellBridge Rehabilitation Center for you or your loved ones.

My husband was brought in from Sr. Joe's. He stayed about 5 days there and I must say, it was a really good experience. The nurses were friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. I think they are understaffed. The other thing I have to me too. Is the Chef! He has quite the talent! Everything was so tasty, the portions were perfect. I was actually jealous and wanted some myself. Plus the Chef was so friendly! He actually came to our room to see if whitif it was my husband who ordered the double scoop rainbow sherbert. He looked like he felt so bad! Can you believe that? Anyway, I've never had such tasty food in a hospital or nursing home, I won't forget it and next time it will be the food I'll be looking forward to.!!!! THANKS CHEF!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK! I had an injury which required me to go to a Rehab facility. I chose Well Bridge in Clarkston. From the moment I arrived, Dec.14th until I was released, Jan.27th I had the best care. Nurses were friendly as was the Nurses aids, Physical and Occupational Therapist, Lisa, Maria,and Lisa. I know there were more Therapist I can't recall their names. The food was awesome. They had activities daily, and they even had a Beauty shop for your convenience. I would highly recommend this Facility to anyone having a need for a Rehab facility. Very clean. Thank you all at Well Bridge in Clarkston for a great experience. 

All the beauty of the facility does not make up for its service. Positives for PT/OT and most nurses. Wait time foe aides is awful. They are more concerned about picking up food trays then patient care. Food is cold at every meal. No clocks in rooms. Had 2 showers in 19 days. These done by OT rather than aides, as per my request. Otherwise I would still be waiting. Filed an official complaint and called corporate.

Most of the nurses aids and nursing staff were very good, probably 90%, but the 10% that we're not so good often lead to a very disappointing experience. Some of the aids and nursing staff that were absolutely outstanding include Jacoby, Z, Bianca, and Ashle, Sean, Tanaya, and Deshira. I probably spelled A couple of names, wrong here, and I'm sure there were a couple of others, who I would consider outstanding I apologize for not remembering their names. Overall, the therapy staff was very good, but they were often too focused on time, rather than focusing on the progress of the patient. And very frequently I was told you only have 10 minutes left. Or you only have 20 minutes left rather than focusing on exactly what I was doing.. I understand how important it is that they manage their billable hours but they should do that themselves and not share that with a patient who is already undergoing a lot of physical and mental stress by being there. The facility was always nice and clean and the food was surprisingly good. my experience there was probably different from most because I went in for a rehabilitation after surgery and I ended up with some negative complications due to a previous existing condition and then right at the end of my stay I contracted Covid which caused me to stay for 10 more days. my overall therapy was kind of chopped up, which was especially disappointing to me because I thought the therapy personnel and facilities were very good and I just did not have the opportunity to utilize them as I would have liked to. When dealing with the administrative staff, I always felt rushed. It always seemed like they were in a hurry to get done with me and move onto the next situation. That was kind of disappointing. The primary reason for my relatively low rating is due to the very poor call button the response time. very frequently when I press the call button, I would not receive a response for an hour, and sometimes even two hours I thought that was very excessive. It seemed like the facility was very understaffed. Almost all the time and frequently the nurses aids would tell me how many people they had to service on a specific shift and how they did not have the workforce that they needed. On two occasions, the nurse gave me the wrong medication. also, I had a couple medication's that were administered multiple times through the day and one time when I asked the nurse about what was administered to me on the previous shift. She responded that she doesn't pay any attention to what happened on any other shift. That really surprised and concerned me.
