Our Mom Judy needed to be in a place that wouldn't be overwhelming; yet warm and caring. Garden View is exactly this. She has made wonderful friends and is confident in her environment. Very pleased with the improvements in her well being upon arriving!

Gardenview has proven to be a wonderful and caring place for our relative. She had been living in an assisted living facility in downstate Michigan but it proved to be weak both in caring for her and also poor from an administrative perspective. Gardenview, by contrast, responds with kindness to our relative's requests, helps her with pleasantness, and has been the best of assisted living places. No complaints whatsoever. Great team on both the nursing/care and administrative fronts.

When I moved my sister-in-law, Nancy, to Garden View, I was hoping she'd get a little better care than what she was getting at her Ann Arbor assisted living place. In her previous Assisted Living home, Nancy told me the aides would often take 15 minutes or more to answer her buzzer; whereas at Garden View, her amazing care aides are at her door within about 3 minutes' time! At the previous home, the aides seemed to be primarily recent high school or alternative school grads with few life experiences. Some just didn't seem to know how to relate to old people. However, at Garden View, even the young aides show a sense of maturity and common sense beyond their age, and they take pride in knowing how to care for their clients. They spend time chitchatting with Nancy and are respectful. They do their best to nudge Nancy to join in the activities and participate with other residents. Every staff member also greets me as a friend and can answer any question about Garden View's operation. Even the other residents act like helpful and friendly neighbors. Nancy has been happy with the decision to move to Garden View and my family is too. And the cost is half what it was in Ann Arbor!

Gardenview a fantastic place! My mother has been a resident in Assisted Living for over 2 years and truly, I cannot find the words to say what a wonderful life Mom is having at GV. This is her home! And it is the Gardenview employees who make this an enjoyable experience for Mom. Annalise Jonson goes above and beyond to be helpful to me and to my mother. Annalise is unfailingly pleasant, positive, and has ideas and suggestions that help to make life run smoothly for Mom. And really, every employee I chat with is polite, interested, and willing to help in whatever way they can. Dan Karppinen is kindness itself. With a lovely facility and caring employees, I give Gardenview my highest recommendation! Perhaps because this place is so lovely, many friendly people become residents. My Mom has been a resident for 2 years and we are very happy with the care she receives from the team at Gardenview. It's never an easy decision for a family, but we feel confident she is getting great care and they really treat her like one of their own family members. She loves the activities (especially bingo) and the outings (when possible - given the pandemic).

My mother has been a resident at Gardenview Assisted Living for over 5 years now. My family is so thankful that she is able to live in a senior community where the staff is helpful, compassionate, friendly and understanding. Our mother has been at Gardenview for almost a year and the care she has received has been outstanding. The facility is extremely clean and offers many amenities and daily activities. All staff members have been so kind, patient and understanding, particularly Erin and Dan, who have gone above and beyond, to see to our mothers needs. Erin has arranged face-time visits, delivered many care packages and spent many afternoons playing games with mom during these difficult times. Ive been a part of the Gardenview family for over six years and I have to say they have been the best years of my life! I look forward to each day as I get to engage with the wonderful people who have chosen to make Gardenview their home while going about the functions of my job. Most of our residents are from the Copper Country and you can honestly feel the warmth and character that makes people from this area truly special. You cant help but develop a genuine love for the residents and their families and it is awesome to foster these relationships!

He shows such genuine warmth and compassion for the families he works with, and conveyed his commitment to making sure the residents and families who choose Gardenview always feel like they are home when theyre here. Trevor was awesome in finding a space during a most inconvenient time and Maggie has been great at managing medication and treatment resulting in notable improvement in my mother's condition. Mom does all sorts of fun things here and our family couldn't be happier. We live a long distance away and need not worry about Mom's care, which is a huge relief after experiencing just the opposite down the road. I strongly recommend Gardenview and extend my gratitude to all the staff there.

Such a beautiful place, and so considerate of their assisted living family. The rooms are comfortable with enough space for personal belonging, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is attentive and thoughtful, giving each person the care they need.

This is such a beautiful place to work, and the residents are so special to me. I like getting up in the morning to come to work, and to talk with all the residents each day. They are like my family, and i care very much for each and every one of them. This is a wonderful facility. It offers a lot to our elderly population that need assistance with every day living tasks. I am glad i am here to help them out.
