We recently moved my grandfather into birch run fields. It has been a great experience so far. All the staff have been warm and inviting. Kelly, in particular, has been a tremendous asset. She exudes competence and compassion, and makes the assisted living environment much less "clinical" and more "homelike" for the residents. She was also a great resource for me, as I was out of my depth when it came to assisted living/end of life decisions. We moved in quickly and some fixes needed to be made to the room, which were all completed in a timely fashion.

Since the facility has gotten new owners, the facility is thriving and improving. A caring administrator and hands on owners have really made a difference. Staff is up to par and genuinely care about residents. Improvements are obvious with staff and food service. Not all residents are willing to participate but activities are scheduled with residents in mind. As owners, Asif and Madea interact with residents and constantly strive to better the facility. Facility is very clean and maintained with every care given to residents well being.

It seems like so many of these reviews are from former workers who are disgruntled about having to go elsewhere due to whatever circumstances they may have faced. But from my experience, the facility and the services available and provided to the residents is fantastic! From my understanding, new ownership took over and has set their standards to a higher level that perhaps some could not adhere to. The new management team has been wonderful, the residents are well cared for, and there are plenty of great activities to keep papa on his feet and moving! If I could give one word of advice, it would be to not believe or hear everything you see and hear on the internet. Go meet the staff, talk to the residents and form your own opinion! We sure did, and felt we made a wonderful choice with this facility.
