My sister has been at charter Senior Living, a week today. We were both excited and scared about her going there. After all, she’d been with me for a year and a half. All the staff have been wonderful but Nurse Brandy has gone above and beyond for my sister and I. This first week would have been much more difficult if it weren’t for Nurse Brandy. I can’t thank her enough.

I , Marla have had a good experience walking into Charter assisted living home, many of Thursday's and I have seen nothing but positive when I go there. Christ centered, they let you leave little Jesus's with the people that work there. They're more than happy to receive them. The meals look delicious Barb,doing exercises with the group are more than fun, fun ,fun.Lots of laughter Very clean,place. The people enjoy crafts,which I was able to be of help,today doing them.My cup of . The people who work there are VERY PLEASANT ‘ All in all,I am completely comfortable and Blessed,having my loved one there, my neighbor is.

Our father, John, spent the final six months of his life at Charter Senior Living in Bay City, and we could not be more grateful for the care he received. From the very beginning, the staff treated him”and our entire family”with compassion, dignity, and genuine kindness. We were never made to feel like just another resident passing through; instead, we truly felt welcomed as part of the Charter family. During an incredibly difficult time, their support, attentiveness, and heartfelt care meant more to us than words can express. This is the first place to look when it comes time to place a loved one that needs additional care that you can't provide. The ENTIRE staff is exceptional at what they do and that is care for your loved one!! All care facilities are not the same, Charter stands above the rest! If you are looking for THAT place for your loved one, it's Charter Senior Living. You should at the very least check them out for a tour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My parents lived at Charter Senior Living in Bay City for approximately five years. In the five years I have never once been disappointed with the staff, food, or facility. My mom passed a few years ago so my dad lived there by himself. He suffered from dementia and they were well equipped and educated to manage my father's lack of mobility and disease. Prior to severe dementia I asked my dad numerous times if he wanted to move to our place. He always said no as he was happy there. I highly recommend that you take a close look at this facility if you are looking for a safe and well managed home for your loved one.

I have a therapy dog that has visited at Charter twice a month for the last 3 years. The residents seem to be very happy there. Rachel keeps them very engaged with all kinds of arts, crafts, events and outings. The building is clean and decorated very tastefully. The dining room is very inviting with nice decorations. I cant comment on the food. Nobody has ever complained to me about the menu. I would definitely feel good about letting a loved one live here.

Charter has been a wonderful place for my grandmother! We couldn’t have asked for a better home and team to take care of her. Her needs are meet quickly and we never have to worry about her not getting the care and help she needs at charter.

Initial impression very good, but due to my mother in law's adjusting to a new home, I was slightly disappointed in the follow thru. There was difficulty in getting her showering scheduled on a regular basis, heat regulation problem is ongoing, and the no one assisted her with her initial seating in the dining room with another resident she could relate with. (Although we were told that she would be introduced to the "right' person upon moving in)

Before thinking about sending your loved ones here, do a thorough investigation. Check reviews, talk to a MDHHS professional and have them tour with you. Make note of literally everything. Pay close attention to the pitch they give on why you should choose Charter Senior Living. I can promise you not a single spirit has been or will be enhanced. The "amenities" are a bold face li. Looks good on paper, sounds good, but a complete scam. Your loved ones will most definitely be mistreated, they will have zero quality of life. This place needs to be investigated and shut down.

As a therapy agency providing OT/PT/ST services to the residents of Charter, I have been impressed with the level of receptivity and professionalism from everyone. From the administrative staff to the caregivers, the house keeping team to the maintenance team. Everyone is approachable and easy to work with. It is clear that the best interest of each resident is a top priority here.

Our mother has been a resident of Charter for close to 6 months and we feel mom is well liked by many caring staff members. She enjoys the activities such as bingo and bus outings. It’s a comfortable, clean atmosphere with inviting surroundings. Sondra, the executive director is so pleasant and very helpful with any questions you may have.

My grandma lives in this community and she’s absolutely had the best experience. It was a hard transition from independently living in a house to assisted living but now she calls Charter home instead. The staff is so attentive and caring. She always feels safe! Sondra (the executive director) was so helpful during this process. She made sure to personally check in on my grandma to assure she had everything she needed. Andrea (the nurse) has personalized care so that she’s getting the best of everything. I would recommend your loved ones staying with Charter!

I have had the pleasure of working closely with this facility and its staff. As someone who frequents assisted living facilities I can say it is one that I would highly recommend. The facility has a homelike feel with a family atmosphere. The size of the facility allows for personal connections between staff and the residents.
