We have had a wonderful experience with Northpointe Woods. The staff is compassionate, competent, and caring. The facility is well-maintained and residents individual needs are assessed on an ongoing basis. The staff goes above and beyond to help residents and their family members and they truly treat their residents as family. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs to transition to an independent senior living facility that provides safety and security, as well as food services and activities.

My father has been at Northpointe Woods Assisted Living since February. Our experience has been absolutely wonderful! The caring staff has made his transition so easy for him and our family. His apartment as he calls it, is comfortable and the staff treat him like family. He can play bingo, do exercise classes and walk around the entire property. We are very grateful to have such a place in Battle Creek for our dad. The wildlife is amazing. Dad loves to see the cranes, turkeys and deer out his window. Do consider NorthPointe Woods for your loved ones.

A difficult long distance move from Texas to Battle Creek made much easier by the staff and preparations made by them. When we arrived after a four day journey from Texas the apartment was move in ready. A service elevator was at our disposal and the maintenance staff was ready to help. Since then my mothers stay has been made very pleasant by the welcoming staff and and many friendly folks in residence at NorthPointe Woods. She has had changes made to her rooms and had a TV mounted on her wall, all with simple requests. There are many activities every day that she can participate in if she desires, from exercise classes to bingo, Van runs to grocery stores to sit down dinners in the evenings. She has made many new friends and reconnected with some old ones.

My Mother, DORIS COSTA, has lived there in Independent Living for over ten years and she is 96 years young! She has an underground parking space so can always get in her car no matter the weather. The food is wonderful in the dining room every night and lunch in the cafe too! The staff is fantastic and the facility is beautiful with lots of amenities. We are pleased that our parents have joined this wonderful and welcoming community. Our parents lived at North Pointe Woods for over 10 years. We are so glad they moved into North Pointe Woods where they had friends and were so happy. They both started in their independant apartment but as they got older, they eventually needed more care. It started with mom having an illness that caused her to need more nursing. We were able to place her in the Oaks, which is connected to North Pointe Woods, which made it easy for dad to visit her every day without leaving the building. As time went on, we found that dad needed assisted living and because of the caring, attentive staff we were able to move him quickly and with little effort. Mom passed away last year, and we just lost dad.

Im employed by NPW as the Plant Maintenance Director. My experience with NPW has been excellent. We have some of the best employees I have worked with. The Residents are so kind and fun to get to know. I truly would recommend NPW to anyone for employment or as a resident. I Love North Pointe Woods

I worked here for about 4 years and absolutely LOVED it! Everyone really is such a family there and I loved going to work knowing I was making a difference in someones life. I have since moved, and every place I work for now (Im a CNA) I compare to NPW, and nothing has measured up yet!

I never thought I would be comfortable with my loved ones living in a place that wasnt their home or mine. This past summer (my senior year of college) I had the privilege of interning for NorthPointe Woods and working in all departments, as I am working to develop a career in senior living. I cannot speak highly enough of this organization. NorthPointe Woods raised my standards even higher for my future career showing me the capabilities an assisted living (and independent living) facility should adhere itself to. The property is beautiful and maintained to the point you would never know it has been open for more than a day, let alone more than ten years. From the way residents are treated to the way employees are treated, NorthPointe is impeccable. I would highly recommend NorthPointe due to my behind the scenes experience, whether youre looking for a wonderful place to work or compassionate people to look after your loved one.

We have had both my parents (now only my mom) and my mother in law living here for over eight years. Last fall we moved both from independent to assisted living. We love NPW and plan our own move there in about ten years. Wonderful staff, clean, well maintained. A few minor problems as you would expect anywhere. But if you tell them it is addressed and usually taken care of. I would give them 4 3, 4 stars because nothing is perfect and we all want room to improve.
