BrightStar was wonderful in caring for my friend during home hospice. Office staff was responsive to any requests or changes. BrightStar provided caring aides who eventually provided around the clock care. They made it possible for my friend to die at home, as was her wish. We couldn't have done it without Brightstar and are incredibly grateful to them. I can't recommend BrightStar highly enough.

Brightstar provided 24/7 aide coverage for my mother while she was on home hospice. It was my mothers wish to be at home and Brightstar made that possible. The aides were wonderful and provided my mother with loving care that she truly appreciated as we all did. I can't' say enough about the care she received. BrightStar was so important in caring for my wife during the last seven months of her life. They provided caring caregivers during a time that was difficult and challenging for the family. I feel fortunate to have found BrightStar through a friend's referral to help my father during hip surgery recovery. The BrightStar team has been caring and qualified to aid my father's recovery in his home with overnight care our family was not able to provide personally. They arrive on-time, share information between team members in a log book so each caregiver understands his progress day to day and what has changed in needed care level as he improves. My parents like all the qualified staff who have come to help and enjoy their company. The office staff is always helpful and nice to work with.

Late in December the good folks at Michigan Medicine said they could not discharge me to return to living alone at home -- it must be a rehab facility or home care. That was an easy choice, once I found BrightStar. They provided health care aides for ten days. Every single one of them -- and there were more than a few, one after and then after again another -- was pleasant, personable, happy to volunteer help for tasks I had not thought to impose on them, and skilled in the health-care aspects. I was completely comfortable with all of them. And the main office was very responsive to my needs, arranging uninterrupted coverage when some juggling of assignments was required. A good first choice.

During the last few months of my Father's life, the BrightStar team was kind, patient, and caring during his time in home hospice. They were available at all hours and weekends, and they respected the need for the family to visit and have private time with my Father. The owner and lead nurse also regularly communicated with my Mother and brought humanity to a very difficult time in our lives. We recommend their company and their team. My experience with BSC came in hiring for care for my mother who was in an independent living senior center. She was declining both mentally and physically during corona virus isolation and of course family was not allowed to see her. Kelvyn the owner and all the staff at BSC are kind and caring. I had the sense at times they were overwhelmed and scheduling was not always smooth as our needs increased. But BSC always worked to make corrections and improvements. The majority of the caregivers were kind and attentive, especially Elizabeth, Debbie and Mary, and even Kelvyn who stepped in a few times. BSC was very responsive to my requests. What they did not do is suggest increase in care or, as we finally decided was needed, a move to full memory care. I give BrightStar Care 5 stars for heart and 4 stars for execution.

We have been with Brightstar for over a year and half. Both of my parents need a lot of help because of their ongoing diseases and ailments. We appreciate the fact that help is sent when we need it. We have had a series of aides throughout our time with Brisghtstar. Many of them were nursing students who finished school and then went on to other employment. Although my parents are not in hospice, we had one aide who had worked many years with hospice patients. I found her knowledge helpful for when we might need that type of help. Her name is Danielle and she was very helpful caring for my parents.

A shout out to Brightstar! My 10 year old son was started on monthly injections early this summer. We were referred to Brightstar by the U of M hospital. They reached out quickly, made his first appointment at our convenience and nurse Brian showed up on time and very much ready to work with a 10 year old. Appointments have continued to be scheduled around my son's school schedule. Brian is an amazing nurse and his expertise is appreciated along with his ability to put my son at ease and feel empowered in his own care.

Beth has been my father's caregiver for a few months now she's been only doing this for 3 months but you would think she's done it her whole life she is excellent at it. She is caring ,patient understanding ,aware and communicates anything that I need to know. She is like family to us we love her and she loves us it couldn't be a better fit.

For 3 months, I have been non weight bearing from a leg fracture. The wonderful staff provided by Bright Star, including Nathalie and Bianca have helped me get through this painful debilitating experience. Everyone in the scheduling office have been patient with my changing needs and very accommodating. I would recommend Bright Star to anyone in need of home health services!
