I had reservations about coming here due to outside factors. McKenna sets the tone and is very accessible. The staff is very nice.

Atria Park took care of my mom with empathy and flexibility at a difficult time. Partway through the admission process, the plan changed to hospice only. Atria Park still accepted my mom. Staff and leadership went above and beyond to welcome and help both her and the family during the move-in and her short stay, coordinating smoothly with hospice staff. And the final billing total was surprisingly reasonable.

I have been in the Senior Advisory business for the last 10 years. My business works closely with Senior Living and Care communities and their Executive Director & Director of Sales & Marketing, When we move a client into one of our Provider Communities we entrust them to execute their Business Plan in caring for our client. I have worked with many communities who promise but do not deliver. Atria Park Ann Arbor and specifically McKenna Hindman and their Sales & Marketing Manager Stacee Garcia deliver what they promise . They personify the Team concept. This becomes obvious when you meet their receptionist and interact with their staff during follow up on clients Ca

I learned of Atria by writing a story when it founded as Sunrise. It seemed to me to be a first-of-its-kind business so I something for the Observer. Now, I am a resident and find Atria becoming, well located and inhabited by a number of folks I can interview because I have been a writer much of my life.

I wish there was a choice for A HUNDRED STARS, bec that's what this place deserves!!!©©©. I had always planned to care for my husband always, but, inevitably, the progression of physical and cognitive decline made it impossible. Our daughter found Atria, to our incredible good fortune, five minutes away. I considered myself the expert on this great man, but after the executive director, McKenna, and an able, caring staff that reflects her values, suffered my fumbling, bumbling, stumbling, and - I admit it - grumbling, with patience, kindness, good humor, and quiet confidence, I came to realize what good hands he is in. They have taken care of him in ways I couldn't know, and protect his well being and happiness, too. My relief, but more, my gratitude, is profound.

Atria Park of Ann Arbor is an absolute fabulous senior living & assisted care facility. Definitely one of a kind. McKenna Hindman, Executive Director, Jessica Johnson, Resident Services Director, Missy Cuevas, Engage Life Director and Maddie Farmer, RSA and Front Desk, are all phenomenal. In fact, all of the staff are the best and go above and beyond in providing personalized care and services. Cannot say enough great things about this place. Highly recommend. Once you or your family member becomes a resident, you become part of the Atria Park of Ann Arbor family.

The staff at this Atria Park are amazing! I have followed them since before covid, and have watched all the wonderful ways they care for and include their residents. Having previously worked in assisted living, I have something to compare them to. Special recognition to ED McKenna Hindman and Sales Director Stacee Garcia. Both of the ladies lead Atria by example, with positivity and commitment to residents and fellow staff members. In my opinion, Atria Park of Ann Arbor is a model all assisted living centers should strive for.

To: McKenna Hindman, Director of Atria Park of Ann Arbor Assisted Living McKenna- Leaving Mother in your excellent care at Atria for the past ten years has proven a high form of trust, forged by your compassionate staff and Mother. It has been a great comfort to witness your staff care for her lovingly, as they would care for their own Mothers. After being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, but still of sound mind, Mother researched all the facilities in the Ann Arbor area. She talked with residents & their family members, and with facility staff. She ate in the dining rooms to get a sense of how staff interacted with residents and the aura of each facility. Mother has a Masters Degree in Education, and she did her research well. Cognizant of the importance of her care when she would no longer have awareness of its quality, she targeted her research on the memory care unit of each facility with her husband, Bob. And she chose Atria. At Atria, you have crafted a team of staff members who have the heart to care for your residents lovingly, regardless of each person’s degree of senility, culture, race, sex, ethnicity, language, or any other demographics (which become meaningless in the face of Alzheimer’s and dementia challenges). Every one of my Siblings would take Mother home to live with us in a heartbeat!!! But none of us could provide the quality of care, the stability of daily routines, the companionship, and the wealth of daily activities which ATRIA provides. As we enter the realm of hospice care now, it is our privilege as Mother’s children, and your honor as her caregivers, to walk this path together with her. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance through this process, and for your friendship throughout this decade of care. We are grateful to you always Barbara Quenon Casucci Daughter of Betty Quenon Wurtz

The care Atria gave my mother in law was nothing short of amazing. The staff was kind, professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, from the directors to the folks who cleaned her room. She actually moved from another high end facility in the area that wasn't a good fit, and really thrived when she switched to Atria. Additionally, the support and help we received was excellent, and there were a number of activities and resources that took the whole family into account.

My father is a resident in the Memory Care at Atria Park, (he has dementia brought on by Alzheimer’s) and we could not be more pleased with his care! He is safe, caregivers treat him with respect and kindness, and he truly seems happy. They respond to medical and social needs as they pop up and are consistently looking for ways to make Dad more comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Three months ago, my husband went into Assisted Living at Atria Park in Ann Arbor. It has been a wonderful place for him. He participates in the many activities and appreciates the fact that all the staff members greet him by name. The staff are very cheerful and seem to enjoy each other. They put lots of energy into their jobs and make Atria feel like a real community, with everyone looking out for one other.

We had a week to find an Assisted Living setting for our mother who was soon to be discharged from an in-house rehab place. Stacee went above and beyond presenting all that Atria had to offer. When we first met, the first thing Stacee asked was "tell me about your mom". The other places we looked at did not start there. We left feeling very comfortable with Atria as a strong option in terms of care quality, in-facility PT available, and a very warm vibe from staff and residents. As we toured a couple more places, Stacee got things rolling on the "paperwork" side to make for a smooth transition in case we chose Atria (and even though we were still looking at other places). In the end, we chose a different place for cost and location reasons, but Atria still left a STRONG impression on us. We will be keeping Atria on our radar if we need to make a change down the road.

Atria Park is truly amazing! The staff is attentive and plentiful, and friendly. 🙂 Our loved one feels very secure and comfortable. The caring staff listens carefully to her concerns and helps find solutions. And, when I am visiting, they will update me and make sure we are satisfied. I’ve also noticed they will communicate with other staff members, to ensure excellent care. Variety of activities abound, with a vibrant recreational area and an engaging staff. The food is top notch, and you can meet the chef in person. The food servers will come and take orders in person, which has been truly appreciated. In the Ann Arbor area, Atria Park is truly a gem!

I appreciate Atria’s retention of good employees. It is heartwarming to see employees like Sherrie move from housekeeping to care staff to the front office. There are so many familiar faces (Diane, Craig, Bill, Carol...) who have been with Atria for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised that my mother managed the transition to Life Guidance so well. The first time I was able to visit her I discovered what made the transition so seamless. It was the presence of Monica. She had taken care of Betty on the second floor and just happened to have transferred to Life Guidance around the same time Betty moved to 4. Because Monica knew Betty’s routines and habits (showering, dressing, which necklace and shoes), Monica eased Betty into the routines of Life Guidance with cheerfulness and care.

When we were first searching for a home for my mother we were disheartened with our choices until we toured Atria. We have been so happy there. My mom is content and safe. She has made new friends and participated in so many fun activities! It is a small community which was important to us. They operate as a family from residents to staff! We have been most pleased with their great and varied activities led by an enthusiastic and caring staff member. The food is yummy! I have joined my mom for several meals. Mckenna, the Director has certainly gone the extra mile for us as we work out details regarding insurance and details. She always has a smile and truly cares and loves her residents and their families. Her door is always open and she is incredibly assessable. As my mother’s primary caregiver, I have been treated with respect and smiles from everyone - the maintenance crew, the nursing staff, the chef, the caregivers, servers, front desk employees. This means so much! Thank you Atria Park of Ann Arbor for loving your residents and treating them with such grace and integrity.

We are so fortunate to have found Atria Park of Ann Arbor. Our experience with this smaller, more intimate facility was EXCELLENT. For 4 years my folks were residents. Top-notch CARING staff make Atria a stand-out place. Staff were KIND and COMPASSIONATE - even recognizing and learning the names of the 5 children who visited. My Dad moved to Atria's unit for memory and other needs. Here too, he was treated with RESPECT. I consider my family to have been blessed finding Atria Park for my parents.
