I place my clients there fairly regularly- it is true, back before the new management team took overt this community was struggling, do to mismanagement of the precious owners under the name of Harbor Chase. Under new management as The Grande- things have changed greatly, food is outstanding and the care now matches the beauty of the community. My clients that have been there for 3+ years tell me they are happy with the change due to the new management. The Grande is now my number one community to refer to. Shawn - Senior Care Advisor.

Quality. From the moment I entered quality was evident in every way. The impressive well cared for facilities, delicious and creative foods (especially the PB&J pizza!) and most of all commitment by staff to complete satisfaction, even for a visitor like me. The new ED, Caitlin Marsanskis has been an excellent leader at The Enclave at Scarborough which is a few miles away. Caitlin led the Team there to win several US News Best of the Best awards. As a therapy provider with Fox Rehabilitation, I am always amazed at how the staff at Harbor Chase truly care for and about their residents. Not only do they go the extra mile to ensure everyone's needs and desires are met, it's also the little things they do, like simply greeting everyone that passes by in the hallway with a smile, and asking how they are doing. It's truly a bright and cheery environment to be a part of, where everyone feels like family 🙂

HarborChase has been a great place for my 81 year old mother. Her stress level is way lower living here than it was at home. Her demeanor and physical appearance have improved massively since arriving. They take excellent care of her. I no longer worry about her, I don't need to. And Laura and the rest of the staff have been just terrifically, goddesses all!

Beautiful facility. Woefully understaffed which carries over into resident care. For the cost of staying here, there should be waaaay more care and attention towards each resident but lack of staff makes that impossible. Having spent time inside, I can say with all certainty that I would not allow anyone I care about to reside there. If you are considering having your loved one move in there, inquire about their staff/resident ratio, and then double/triple check whatever answer they give you. If you put your loved one there, do all sorts of pop-in visits to see if those numbers they give you actually hold up. And listen to your loved one... when they complain about what they're being fed, and the lack of attention, activities and interaction provided, believe them.
