Reviews Chesapeake Manor
March 2024
Chesapeake Manor Staff are Angels sent from Heaven. They gave our mother the best care. They are the most kind, considerate and patient people I know. Our mother was a resident there for 5 1/2 years and just passed at 103 years old. Even though our mother's mental capacity was diminished, they always treated her with kindness and respect. They are like family to us. Can't thank them enough or say enough great things about them.
December 2022
The staff at Chesapeake Manor was wonderful to my mother and our family at a very difficult time in our lives. The caring and qualified staff took care of our mother right up to her very last day. Our family is so very thankful! The facility is a home that has been transformed into an assisted living facility, but it has kept the feeling of "home", with a very warm and friendly environment.

Felt very welcomed and comfortable from the time we stepped in the door. Residents seemed happy and content. The rooms are a very nice size and there werent any strong odors. The atmosphere was very quiet inside and out. Loved how the staff talked to the residents. They were very kind and respectful.
July 2017
Chesapeake Manor treated my husband with dignity and compassion. The staff are truly interested in the resident, giving them good care and more importantly their genuine feeling that they are all part of a family.

The people were nice and they are in the process of enlarging the facility to allow for more private rooms. My mom is not at their level of care at this point. She would need other residents at Level 1 to interact with but this is a very nice small environment for care.

It's really more of a home type atmosphere and that's really good. I think that maybe they could improve on some of their fees - some of the fees that you get there are a little more extreme. It's smaller and everyone is pretty incapacitated, more like type three in that they need help with almost everything.
