Staff is always so very caring I overheard the lady behind the desk asking if someone had been properly attired because she was concerned about her breast showing through a top the aid she was asking explained that she doesn't wear a bra and that's why she wears many layers. I thought that was so sweet that there was so much concern by all staff members I will always remember and keep your place in mind for when I need senior living help

Deciding to place my dad in assisted care was a heavy burden for my family and myself. Thankfully, the feeling of heaviness lifted soon after my father moved into Charter. I quickly found that the people who work at Charter treat my father like a family member. They inquire about his life, interests and values and base activities around his needs and wants. He can be shy, but they have found clever ways to coax him to participate. When dad moved in initially, I visited almost daily. I found all the staff to be friendly and so warm, but also highly professional and dedicated to all aspects of his wellness. I feel confident that dad is receiving the best care possible. I have full trust that my dad is in a safe, warm, loving environment where he can thrive despite his mental and physical impairments. I am so grateful to the staff at Charter. They are truly an exceptional group of individuals. My initial burden has been replaced with a sense of peace knowing he is cared for and loved in his new home.

We were so pleased with the care Bianca and staff took to make our brother's transition to assisted living smooth, easy and welcoming. Everyone is kind and compassionate and willing to help and make our brother feel at home! It was a great relief to know he will be happy, safe and cared for.

Placing a loved one in an assisted living facility is a very difficult decision. I did my research and settled on Charter Towson and one other facility. I toured both. Hands down, Charter Towson was the home for my dad. There are many boxes needing to be checked, but the most important is the people. And, I love them all!!! Terry works the front desk with her fashionable side kick, Gucci (her adorable dog). The residents absolutely love Terry and Gucci! Bianca is so accommodating and kind. Shanicka is a top notch head nurse and the list goes on and on. My dad has the sweetest little studio with huge windows overlooking beautiful landscaping. He also has a lovely hanging plant, a bird feeder and a bird bath. He was allowed to place these items on shepherd hooks right outside his window. He loves watching the birds. Most of all, he is happy.

My family and I in looking for the right memory care location for our mother visited Charter Senior Living of Towson and it became our #1 choice. I researched and visited 10 facilities and visited Charter of Towson twice. Bianca was so warm, compassionate and understanding of the emotion we were feeling in looking for a place for our mother. Even before we finalized our decision, Bianca stayed in contact, suggested resources and most of all asked questions about our mom, her interest, her personality her background, going back to her early years. Of all the places I visited Bianca was the only person who wanted to know who our mom is as a person. She set a very high bar for other facilities, which they did not meet. The staff was so attentive, patient and caring for the residents and a large number of them have been at Charter for 3 to 20+ years which meant a lot to us, that there is not a lot of staff turnover and they know, care for the residents and foster a family environment. I anticipate that my mother will be safe and happy at Charter and my family has such a sense of peace that picking Charter is the right place for our mother.

Charter House has been a great experience since day one with Bianca. My sister and I visited the place and were welcomed as if it was our home. We had gone to Charter Senior Living Towson for an author event on 11/17/22. It was just an amazing experience from the second we walked in the door until we left 2 1/2 hours later. The first things we noticed was the cleanliness of the facility. Then every resident and employee we encountered were all smiling and happy. We were greeted by Steve Gale (Community Relations Director) who was our contact person who in turn introduced us to Amanda Ward (Life Enrichment Director). Amanda could not have been any more pleasant and helpful all the while being professional. She had the area set up and ready yo go where my wife and I were going to meet with the resident book club after they had read our book THE LONGEST ROPE HAS AN END. After talking about our book there was a Q & A session where the residents were fully engaged with us in asking questions and telling us their opinion of our story. At the conclusion of the event we also has the opportunity again to talk with Amanda as well as Bianca Davis (Director of Sales and Marketing). Both Amanda and Bianca asked us questions about the process of writing our book. The meet the author event could not have run and smoother. We were thankful for Charter Senior Living of Towson for inviting us to this event.

My 89-year-old mom was in need of an assisted living facility to continue rehab for a fractured bone in her knee, which rendered her non-weight bearing for a few months. We were incredibly fortunate to find Charter Senior Living of Towson. The Director of Sales, Lynn Machovec, was outstanding in helping transition my mom to Charter. She went above and beyond to facilitate all aspects of the move with me. From the moment my mom arrived, the staff was very welcoming, extremely helpful, and caring. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, and my inability to visit initially, I never doubted for one moment that my mom was very well taken care of. The nursing staff, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and Ms. Machovec kept me well-informed on my moms progress. The facility was immaculate, bright, cheerful, and conveniently located. There is definitely a family feeling at Charter, and for that, I am very grateful! Thank you to the wonderful staff for all that you do, as you are VERY MUCH appreciated! I would recommend Charter Senior Living of Towson to anyone!!

I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking to move their loved one into assisted living. My mom has lived at Charter Towson for a little over a year. The staff is great and she has made many new friends. My mom went from living alone to attending activities and being more social. I wish I would have moved mom sooner. She really loves her new home and I couldnt be more happier for her.

I have absolutely no complaints about Emeritus Towson and for me to say this says a lot about the people who are caring for my mom. The staff is wonderful and easy to work with. The Director, the RA's, the nursing staff very friendly and personable and very accomodating. I would strongly recommend Emeritus Towson and give them 5 stars!
