I moved to Wilshire Estates 5 months ago and am very pleased that I did. I was looking for an independent living facility that had meals, activities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Wilshire Estates really checked all my boxes. The management team is very cooperative. Every request I have had was done quickly. They will go out of their way to help their residents be happy here. Thank you to Brian, our executive chef, for supplying my visiting friends and I with coffee, muffins and fruit this week. We sat in the Guest Dining Room here and had a lovely time.

My mother stayed at this senior independent living facility for about seven months, and overall we had a very positive experience. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, which made a big difference in helping her feel at ease. A special thank you to the managers, Mona and Adil, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my mom was comfortable and well cared for. My siblings and I appreciate their kindness and responsiveness, which did not go unnoticed. The community itself was always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike. My mom genuinely enjoyed her time there, especially with all the activities and outings, and felt part of a warm and supportive community. Unfortunately, as her needs changed and she required more day-to-day assistance, we made the decision to transition her to an assisted living facility. That said, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality independent living option for their loved one.

We found the perfect place for Mom! Wilshire Estates has everything she needs. I had the opportunity to stay in a spare apartment and live the experience myself for a few days. I found you can't beat the 3 delicious meals you're served daily. Thanks to the chef and the kitchen staff for that! I also want to thank the event coordinator for all of the daily activities that are scheduled. From the shuttle bus to the local stores and the scheduled bingo games. Don't forget to take in a movie in their own movie theater. You can take some fresh popcorn in and some delicious self serve soft ice cream! I had Chocolate today! Yummy. I actually did a work out in their gym this morning. This place has everything anyone would need. You have a Chapel, pool table, library and much more. If you need the linens changed, they even do that for you every week for you! I want to thank the management for making this a memorable stay and allowing our family to make mom's Birthday such a joyous celebration. Thanks Adil! Bob

My grandmother lived here for 4 yrs. It is a very nice community. It is only a few years old so it looks very vibrant and fresh, especially compared to some older facilities. The food is pretty good as well. They have a theater that looks like an actual theater, it is NOT just a room with a big TV. There's a game room, library, computer room, exercise room, a large kitchen. for residents and families to use. Laundry rooms on each floor, a soft serve machine, and best of all , great residents. I moved my gma to AL as she needed more care but I will definitely miss the people. My only concern is the revolving door of management. Every few months, theres a new team. Not sure whats happening there but other than that, its a great place.

I have been living in this community for 1 year. The managers and staff are very kind and supportive. All of my maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. The culinary team continues to provide balanced meals and will have a listening ear when there are concerns. My apartment is quite comfortable, my place for relaxation, restoration. Grateful to have made new friends!!!

I am so happy ,safe and comfortable at The Wilshire Gracious retirement home.Excellent service and respect from the owners, and the Managers( especially the singing Managers) ,the friendly,caring and hardworking Chef& staff who offers the sumptuous meals and extend themselves by going above and beyond the call of duty.The Maintenance attendant Wayne, he is Awesome.Eric the driver very courteous helpful and last but not least Duniia the entertainment Associate she kept the Bingo game going.I love it ! Beautiful , secure facility with caring staff. Family member resided here and appreciated the variety in meals, movie theater, ice cream machine, guest performances and field trips. Each room has a refrigerator and a common kitchen is available to prepare other meals.This facility is for truly independent residents without the need for assistance from any staff members.

My parents moved to Wilshire a year ago and have been really happy in this community. The whole extended family stayed in the guest suites over Christmas and it was so great to spend time with the grandparents and take advantage of all the amenities, like the movie theater, library and game room. My parents moved in a year ago and my sisters and I love this place for them! It's clean, bright, really smartly layed out with so much to do. But at the heart is the kind and thoughtful staff who work so diligently to create a joyful and active lifestyle for the residents. My sister and I actually stayed with our families at Wilshire this past holiday--they hold a few rooms for extended family. It was the best Christmas ever! We baked in the chef's kitchen, watched movies in the comfy theater, played ping pong and pool. The kids loved the 24 hour ice cream machine and the cucumber water:) Noble and Hannah bring a lot of passion and respect to this place. It's a hidden jewel as far as I'm concerned. I'm so glad we met Ms. Kelley who introduced us to the place! I hope there is a Wilshire like this when my husband and I retire!

My mom is in her 80's and her mobility is limited. At night when I leave her unit after visiting, I always think, "she is safe and sound" as I walk down the modern and clean and comfortable hallway. Wilshire staff is terrific. From the first visit here, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. All the varied services are great and make MY JOB easier to care for my mom. Mom gets to have agency and "independent living," and I get to know that she is comfortable in her own place as I go home to my own house. Being elderly in our modern world can be a challenge for our parents who can no longer keep up. At Wilshire Estates, things move slow-ER than the rat race outside, but with all the modern amenities it NEVER feels stuffy and old like retirement homes of yore. I'm really pleased with this facility and mom is happy here. Highly recommended. Just come on by and have a visit to see for yourself.

After a thorough tour of Wilshire Estates and learning about all the apartment complex has to offer, we chose to move my mom from out of state and settled her in two weeks ago. My mom feels comfortable in her new apartment. She enjoys the food and the friendly staff. Family is encouraged to enjoy a meal with their loved one (at a nominal fee). We have observed that the staff cares about its residents, always willing to assist or chat. Toni, Lonnie, Jason and Krista have been attentive to our needs and questions. Wayne has taken care of maintenance requests promptly. The dining room staff always greet us with a smile. Shauntae in particular, always goes out of her way to make the residents and their family feel welcomed and cared for. Chelsea, the activities director, brings enthusiasm and encouragement to the activities she plans. We like all the amenities offered at Wilshire especially the month-to-month lease, weekly apartment cleaning and linen service as well as Family & Nursing Care and Legacy Therapy Services available at the complex. We truly feel we found the best place for mom!

It would be hard to overstate how happy we are with Wilshire Estates. When we first toured, Wilshire Estates was finishing its construction and we could tell what a beautiful place it would be. It is light-filled and modern, with gracious hallways, plenty of seating at intervals throughout the building, a gorgeous activities room that includes a kitchen where families could set up an event, and the MOVIE THEATER!! The management model is unique; with two sets of live-in management pairs who are present at every meal, the well-being of residents is always observed. The staff make great efforts to ensure that community is being built at all times. Sadly, as soon as our loved one moved in, the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and then all of the good care and attention to detail truly paid off. During an exceptionally hard time, residents knew that the managers were doing everything in their power to keep the residents and staff safe. Let's hope the worst is behind us and more residents will be able to join Wilshire Estates.

The grounds at Wilshire are beautiful allows for good walkability for seniors when it’s nice outside. The property is fairly new, the rooms are nice and complies with ADA accessibility. The facility provides a vast variety of senior friendly activities that residents enjoy. I love that the facility encompasses a beauty salon, therapy services, and transportation for residents, a truly all in one experience for seniors.

Wilshire Estates was the right place at the right time when my dad finally chose to move out of his home. He loved the independent living without the need to cook and clean daily. He loved getting to meet new friends, while still being close to the neighborhood he had lived in for the past 40 plus years. The year has passed way to quickly. My mom moved to the Silver Spring, Maryland facility shortly after it opened. Debra and Rich were warm and compassionate towards her. They made her feel welcome and made sure she felt she was a valued member of the community. Susan was also a very good and effective salesperson who was the first person the family interacted with when investigation Wiltshire Estates as a residential option for my mom. The building is beautiful. The employees are kind and helpful. We always felt that my mom was in good hands while she was there.

I visited with my sister-in-law who is looking for a senior living place. This has everything you need. The units are rented and they come with weekly house cleaning that includes washing the sheets and towel. There are three meals a day available in the dinning room included in the rent. Each unit has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator a counter with a sink. There are free laundry rooms in each wing.
