They keep raising the rent each year. I am now asked to pay almost $100.00 more than when I moved in in Dec. 2021. There have been no improvements to my apartment to warrant these price increases. Social Security's cost of living adjustment will not pay for the extra rent fee this year-- a raise of $40.00. Why? The property is maintained, but there have been cars broken into, and the fire alarm goes off on a regular basis. Residents are left outdoors for 30-40 minutes or longer while the fire department tries to shut off the faulty alarm system. Complaints are mentioned in meetings by staff but no apparent action taken. There is no staff or security after 4 or 5:00. Units are tiny with very limited closet or storage space.
