My wife has lived at Sunrise of Rockville for over 10 years, both in assisted living and memory care. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and facility. It has been exactly what my wife needed through her various stages of Alzheimer’s, and she has loved it there in all respects, but especially the loving care by the caregivers.

I chose Sunrise Rockville to provide end-of-life care for my father, who was diagnosed with end stage dementia, after having read positive reviews and ratings across different senior care platforms. Sunrise at Rockville has indeed hold up to those reviews and their reputed values. The executive director (Emily Molloy) and Director of Sales (Nikita Mutter) warmly welcomed me for the information tour and were sympathetic and understanding when I expressed my needs and concern, and provided transparency for the logistics and price. After my father moved in, the nursing and caring team have been wonderfully attentive and supportive every day to my father, me and my mother for the two months of my father's tenancy there until my father's passing yesterday. I am particularly grateful to the member of the nursing and caring team--Beatrice, Jamal, Monica, Silvia, and Connie who have provided empathetic emotional support and wisdom that made this agonizing and difficult time bearable. All the members of the Sunrise at Rockville team are caring, attentive and compassionate to all the residents and made this place truly a home. Rest assured that your loved ones will be well taken care of here.

The facility and the staff has been amazing. They go above and beyond with care for my mom like catching overpriced meds when a cheaper one is available. They are very supportive to the immediate family as well. This year has been a nightmare and sunrise not only took care of my mom but also helped my brother and I get thru this ordeal while supporting her. I can not speak enough of how they helped me keep my sanity while helping my mom mourn her husband who passed in January, heart surgery where she suffered a stroke two days later, then had to move her from her home because it was unlivable. Nancy, Emily, Beatriz, and Margaret are amazing women who supported my family during this transition. If you are looking for a place for your loved one. I can not express enough the wonderful experience my family has had with Sunrise of Rockville.

Such a lovely community! The updates in the bistro area are beautiful. the community feels warm and comfortable from the second you walk in. the staff are so friendly and enjoyable to talk to! Happy with my experience.

The staff are very caring and this community is in a beautiful country mansion style. Very clean and beautifully decorated and tucked in a quiet part of city of Rockville. The design of the building is brilliant. Somehow they managed to keep the hallways short but still provide nicely sized living quarters for the residents. They don't have to walk a long way to get to the dining, activity or leisure rooms. Lots of daily planned activities and residents can count on the same people to provide care for them.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well for the most part. From what I saw the community looked nice and clean, the staff was nice, and our questions were answered. It was a nice experience, but it wasn't the right fit for my father as the location was not close enough to our family.

Excellent Facility with Caring Staff. My mother moved to Sunrise Rockville Assisted Living in February 2015 from a different facility(which I will not name). The difference was like day and night. The staff at Sunrise Rockville(SR) is simply excellent and take great care of Mom. Communication at the previous facility was a constant problem. In contrast, at SR the staff(from the Director Clinton , to the Director of nursing, to the Assisted Living director) are always quickly response to questions & concerns. The real super stars are the Care Managers who directly take care of their clients with skill & compassion. My family and I can highly recommend Sunrise Rockville with well deserved five Stars. Very nice place and caring people. With regards to the previous comment. My Aunt had her Dr prescribe any needed medications. Wasn't the job of the assisted living. Activities is an important part of what is most important to my Aunt's day. She's happy and safe and in good hands.
