Moving my husband to memory care is one of the most consequential decisions I have had to make. I visited many facilities and did a ton of research before selecting Cedar Creek Memory Care Homes. Cedar Creek was highly recommended to me from a trusted source, who had first-hand experience with the organization and with my husband and me. Cedar Glen seemed the best fit of the Cedar Creek Homes for my husband. This very difficult transition was eased considerably by the expertise, compassion and professionalism of Meg DeSchriver and the team at Cedar Glen. My husband has been in residence since January of this year. He is well cared for. He is calm and sweet and made to feel useful. I am always welcome and am in regular touch with the staff at Cedar Glen. It is reassuring to know he is in a good facility, surrounded by a professional team. Peg Jobst

The staff at Cedar Glenn took became almost like part of our family. They took excellent care of my dad and we are grateful for the attention and kindness he received. Everyone there was wonderful and we couldn't recommend this place enough. It is rare to find such a dedicated group of professionals working towards a common goal of providing the best possible environment for my dad. I visited oftentimes on a daily basis and saw their care firsthand over several years. Excellent, and highly recommended.

Placing our mother in a Memory Care home was one of the hardest decisions our family has ever had to make. The search was extensive and we are so grateful we found Cedar Glen (a part of the Cedar Creek Memory Care group). While there might be facilities out there that are newer with nice decor and more amenities, if you are looking for loving, personal care for your loved one, Cedar Creek Memory Care Homes is it. We couldnt be more pleased or grateful to the entire staff at Cedar Glen for the loving care they have shown our mother, especially during the COVID crisis. Everyone from the top down is professional, well trained, loving, caring, patient and trustworthy. Cedar Glen has truly become our mothers home away from home.

My mother has been at Cedar Glen for two and a half years and I cant recommend it highly enough. I looked at one other facility first and just could not imagine her living there. It would have felt like dropping her off at a motel. It had a very institutional feel. Cedar Glen instantly feels like a home in the best sense, because thats what it is, and after my visit there I was satisfied I didnt need to look anywhere else. Theres nothing institutional about it. At the same time, its extremely professionally run. There are clearly systems in place behind the scenes that are designed to ensure the residents needs are met to a high standard. The key staff members have been there since my mother first moved there, and it seems clear its a good place to work and people stay. Theres lots of kindness and love there. My mothers dementia was already advanced when she moved in, but she developed friendships with a couple of other ladies and they sit and hold hands on the sofa. Its clear that all the residents are known and loved as individuals. I spoke to a hospice nurse once who said she has been in many facilities including one of the Cedar Creek homes and it stood out as the best facility she had been in. I am so grateful that she found her way there.

My family member has been at Cedar Creek-Cedar Glenn for over a year and I recommend the Cedar Creek homes highly. Previously, she was in a larger facility that physically was nice, but the staff there was large with more residents to staff ratio - and therefore they could not engage with her in the same manor as the Cedar Creek staff. The quality of the staff at Cedar Creek is excellent. They are patient, kind, funny, and caring - all super important with dementia care and they communicate well with the residents families!

Cedar Glen is a wonderful, small, family setting for elder and dementia care. My family member has been there about a year, and she is very pleased with her care. The concept is good and the staff works hard to make sure all residents are treated well. The food is nutritious, varied, and served family-style in a lovely room with a view to the garden and birds. Thank you to all of you providing care!

Our mother, who is now 101, was a practicing physician until she was 92. After a number of years living at home with some in house care, she had a fall. We did our best to keep her at home, but scheduling round the clock in house care, responding to emergencies, covering when someone didnt show up, overseeing medical care, ordering medicines, taking care of her house....all while my sister commuted from CA and we both worked and raised our families. We were fortunate enough to hear about Cedar Creek...a small residential home with seven other residents, inhome medical and nursing care, daily discussions, music, art, and other cognitive enhancing activities...a beautiful stone house where residents have their own bedrooms, a common living and dining room and kitchen, a beautiful sun room and backyard bordering a garden. But best of all is the amazing care of the Cedar Creek angels; a staff selected for their love and commitment to elder care. They at all times demonstrate love, respect, and humor in their interactions with the residents. Our mother receives the medical oversight she needs, incredible loving care, great food, interesting friends, and activities not possible in the home. Often, when we call or visit, she is engaged with others, and we have a hard time pulling her away to go out with us. We are intensely grateful for the family we have gained through Cedar Creek and highly recommend that you visit if you are going through the sad, stressful time of recognizing that your beloved parent can no longer stay home. Thank you Cedar Creek for being there for us.
