when we moved my mom into the residency we had so many questions. My mom being very independent we thought would be difficult to work with. what we pleasantly found was Shari and her staff that have made our concerns go away with there knowledge and compassion .Kudos to Shari who had every answer without pushing thanks to all the med techs and nurses who you can tell take pride in there job My thanks to the chef who have made breakfast lunch and dinner enjoyable to my mom as far as the activities they are outstanding my mom's favorites exercises, PT , music events and the rabbis ( her favorite Rabbi Mickey ). My mom has been there approaching a month and I have been very happy with her progress .

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team. From the very beginning of my daughter’s admission, the staff has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. While there were some initial challenges, everyone has gone above and beyond to work through them and to help make my daughter’s transition and adjustment as positive as possible. Your kindness, patience, and willingness to accommodate her needs have truly meant so much to me. It brings me great comfort knowing that when I leave, my daughter is being cared for by people who are attentive and genuinely invested in her well-being. I had been looking for over a year for my mother. I looked at close to 30 facilities, and when I found Aventura at the Heights I knew immediately I found a home for my mother. She raves about the delicious home cooked meals, the endless activities, and the warm and friendly staff. She feels like she is a part of a family! I’d give 10 stars!

My mom stayed here for a short respite visit, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making her feel welcome from the start. She especially enjoyed the activities”they really made an effort to get her involved, which meant a lot to us. The residents were also very kind and engaging, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a caring and active environment!

My mother has been a resident of Aventura for a couple of years now, and it has been a great experience. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. There are even a couple of staff members with whom we have become close and receive hugs from whenever we visit. When we have questions or concerns, they are informative and helpful. A special shout out to Amanda Schuster for all her help and dedication. Each month we receive the schedule of activities and are always impressed with the variety. The monthly newsletter always has pictures which we love seeing. It gives me peace of mind to know my mother is so well cared for.

My mother moved in a few months ago. It was important to her that the facility be kosher. She has made friends there and enjoys the activities. While she would like the religious services to be more traditional, she's really adjusted well! Update three years later: The staff continues to be a wonder for her, and for me! The dietary staff headed by Menashe and his team do their best to cater to my mother's sometimes fickle whims. Shaindy does a great job with activities. It seems that there is something going on almost all day. Mother loves it when volunteers bring in a pet for 'creature comfort' program. One thing mother misses is having her own dog, but physically for her it wouldn't be possible. So, he takes advantage of every dog pet she can get!! And of course, the real reason she is there; the nurses and nurse aids who take care of her medical needs. They never complain even when she needs a little extra care. They don't hesitate to contact me if there is something mother needs. Rita, T, and the two Sharon's are like family to her when her own family can't be there. I am grateful every day for the kind and caring facility that Aventura is.

As a resident here for the last 4 months ,I have experienced nothing but kindness from the staff and residence here. I receive a written schedule every morning during breakfast with the daily activities that are planned for the day (which include but aren't limited to bingo arts and crafts and even movies that we all watch together). The meal menu is provided and prepared by an actual chef that keeps the meals flavorful and entertaining (there also substitutions made for dietary needs or if you just don't like what's on the menu that night). The nursing staff are knowledgeable and well-versed on conditions that I may need or require due to my medical needs and circumstances. The management staff are very quick to respond to any issues that may arise throughout the day and answer any questions that may come up. Thank you all for all your kindness, smiles and attentiveness that you show throughout the day... It is truly appreciated

Finding the right assisted living facility for my brother was an incredibly emotional and challenging journey. His situation is quite unique”he’s younger than most residents and adjusting to a recent injury, along with a number of other complicating factors. I visited and called several places in the area, but nothing felt quite right”until I spoke with Amanda. From that very first phone call, I knew I had made the right decision. Amanda was not only incredibly kind and understanding, but also went above and beyond to be helpful and flexible. She took the time to walk me through the process, answer every question I had, and reassure me during what was a very difficult transition for our family. Now that my brother is a resident, I can confidently say that he is in good hands. The care he receives”physically, emotionally, and mentally”is everything I hoped for. The staff treats him with dignity and compassion, and I finally have peace of mind knowing that he is safe and supported. I am truly grateful to Amanda and the entire team for the incredible work they do every day. They’ve made a world of difference in both of our lives

My mom started in assisted living at Aventura in January 2025. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the transition was much easier than we were expecting. My mom liked her apartment, the food, and the activities. We also felt that Amanda and Sheri communicated well with us and the aides were very good with my mom. Highly recommend Aventura!

After many years in another assisted living facility, I decided to place my father in this wonderful facility, Aventura at the Heights. It really is a beautiful facility, with a welcoming staff. He enjoys the Jewish culture and activities which he was unable to have elsewhere. Yes, the residents are very nice and actually go out of their way to speak with you. The admissions process and staff were wonderful. I met with the admissions director, Executive Director and Head Nurse. The process was easy and they helped me through it from beginning to end. The activities, informative lectures or resident discussions and music programs they provide is so wonderful. My father actually sings out loud now. I truly recommend this facility for your loved one.

Dear Aventura, 6 years ago, it became obvious that my mother, now 100 years old, could no longer live alone in NYC. We brought her to Aventura (then Tudor Heights) so that she would be in our city. We wanted a kosher and jewish environment and Tudor seemed a good fit. We have weathered the storm of changing owners and management companies through the years. With Sheri Goldstein the General Manager the sun now really shines for the residents of Aventura! A crew of excellent CNA/CMT, Physical and occupational therapist, and nursing have really raised the bar. Shandy Feldman our beloved activities director has made it possible for my mother and all the residents to have a truly enriched life, with activities appealing to variety of interest "all day every day". It would be remiss not to mention Menashe Shabtai the dining director and the amazing dietary staff for kosher nutritious and delicious meals. From the minute you come in you are greeted by the front desk staff with a smile and good morning. Sheri Goldstein has developed a very high quality CNA/CMT staff, my apologies for not naming them all. Although I was an ICU nurse for over 45 years I had much to learn about the aging process, dementia, and memory loss. Sheri and the entire staff support my Mother and our family through this challenging time. Rabbi Mickey Lebovic and Menashe Shabtai make yiddishkeit and Koshuras their main focus and are dedicated to excellence in both areas. I knew from my first visit that this was the place for my 93 year old mother. The caring was so apparent from the whole staff. Once they met my mother and found out her liking for peanut butter, they visited her in the hospital before she went there, with a lovely bowl of fabulous peanut butter cookies. Even when Mom is unable to participate in activities, they will ask how she is and h ow they hope she will soon feel well enough to join in again. You feel like it is home and that everyone has your back.

I placed my mother here a few months ago. She is so happy!!! The staff is incredibly generous and friendly. They are reasonable with pricing, and have given my mother a new life. She suffers from dementia and it was overwhelming having her at home alone. But my fears are gone because of this incredible community. Thank you Tudor Heights.
