I recently brought my family member to tour the facility, I was so impressed with the staff & all they have to offer! I will be moving my family member in next week. We are all excited & feel so reassured that our family member will be well taken care of. I would highly recommend Atrium Village by Cogir Senior Living to anyone looking for a safe place to help take care of your family member!!! I got the chance to sit down & talk with the Executive Director, Ms. Chervontah Thomas, I was so impressed with her professionalism & how much she genuinely cares about the residents which makes me feel confident that my family member will be well taken care of.

My aunt moved into Atrium Village approximately 8 months ago. I was extremely concerned about the care she was receiving until Ms Thomas joined your team. She is friendly, caring, and compassionate. Ms Thomas is an asset to the Atrium community

Recently moved my mom into Atrium Village and she loves it! The staff is compassionate and attentive, and the community is well-maintained. My mom participates in many of the activities and she seems to be settling in comfortably. My sister and I are grateful for the positive impact the staff and her new friends have had on her well-being. Highly recommend!

Atrium Village has been wonderful for our Mom! Especially since Mark Heuer, Executive Operations Specialist came on board- noticeable improvements in many areas. The current staff on her floor are so kind and attentive- Nurse Kelly takes her time to change Momās dressings with compassion. Andrew with OT has instructed her on staying strong and safe.

The Atrium provided a great home for my father to live on his own. He enjoyed many of the amenities and programs that they provided, but what he loved most about The Atrium was the people. He loved the staff members who worked there and made friends quickly with many of the residents. The staff made my family feel welcome when we came to visit. We appreciated The Atrium for giving him a comfortable, safe place to live.

Great facility and dedicated staff. Psalm, move-in coordinator, is welcoming, hard-working, and family oriented. The whole community works together from independent living to assisted living.

I have toured many communities and found Atrium never disappoints. When you walk into the Atrium you are greeted by smiling faces, and a beautiful open area. The renovations are stunning, adding light and brightness to the entire community. The dining areas are designed to feel as if you are walking into a high end restaurant. Every event we have attended has been lovely as well. The staff gives the feeling they are having as much fun as the residents.

I attended a Christmas celebration. From what I saw, the place is beautiful (I was only on the main floor). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even had a piano player playing Christmas tunes! My daughter works there, but I don't think that makes me biased. If I wasn't impressed, I would just not have given it a rating.

I am thankful for Julia who made my father's move as smooth as possible. Psalm has been an angel. He is always positive, timely, and clear. Where there have been glitches, he has worked with diligence to communicate all positions until the glitches have been remedied. Psalm is a blessing. My father thoroughly enjoys being there! 4.5 stars

I want to thank the team at Atrium Village for hosting a memorial for a resident (Sylvia) who recently passed away. The care and treatment for the dignity of this resident was above and beyond extraordinary. Stacy, Molly, Shawn and Robert we thank you. However we know it takes more than individuals as it takes a caring culture to provide such service through thoughtful leadership. The food and set up was both delicious and perfectly executed. We thank you as the support and honor provided to this family was appreciated.

My Father (age 75) recently moved to Atrium after experiencing complications post major aortic surgery that required extensive rehab and temporary assisted living. Chelsea Corona, leasing manager, enabled my father's seamless transition from rehab into to the Atrium Village community. All of his needs were met with love first followed by superb professionalism and service execution thanks to Chelsea and the Assisted Living Home side of the complex's staff. Because the community is so well operated and delivers a high level service, my father and I were able to simply and completely focus on his healing. The result: he rehabbed much quicker than expected. While my Father could have moved to another community, he loves the community and support he is experiencing so much that he opted to move to the independent living side of Atrium Village. He is now comfortably and happily at home. The apartments are beautiful there, and the community will be top notch once the new renovations are complete, which excites my Father. I for one feel like I have full partners in my Father's care. I have peace of mind and the time, thanks to Atrium Village, to enjoy my Father. More importantly, he doesn't he can now truly enjoy his retirement knowing he has multiple support systems to remove any barrier out of his way. Big thanks also to Shonta, the moving coordinator and Atrium's stellar Executive Director who obviously replicated herself in her stellar staff. Keep up the unmatched sincerity, capability, and service delivery! We need Atrium Villages in every town and city!
September 2020
I had a wonderful experience working with Chelsea Corona, Director of Sales and Reuben Rosenfeld, the Executive Director at the Atrium Village. They were both extraordinary helpful in trying to accommodate my mother into her new living situation. They were also extremely thoughtful and giving of their time in this very difficult time in her life transitioning into assisted living care. I would highly recommend their services.
September 2020
My mother recently moved into the Atrium Village and they have gone above and beyond to make the move as easy as possible. Chelsea Corona and Deja Vendryes well exceeded my expectations. They worked tirelessly to ensure my mother's move to the Atrium from another state was done seamlessly. I am extremely grateful for their professionalism and genuine care and concern for not only my mother but for our family as well. The staff has provided excellent care and has been in constant communication with updates. I highly recommend this community.
April 2020
My mother recently moved into the Atrium. She is in independent living and receives minimal home care. After her living alone I am so grateful she gets phone calls and has formed friendships with her neighbors. The front desk people have always been courteous and responsive. The activities director has encouraged her to be a part. Executive Director Rosenfeld is passionate about the residents welfare and his staff as well. I also believe that the proactive precautions they are taking with the pandemic have been above and beyond and I am confident my mother is in the safest place she can be. I appreciate the tireless work of all the staff to consistently elevate their standards and protect the residents. I highly recommend this community.
February 2020
My mom lived at the Atrium Senior Care Facility for almost four years, before she needed to be moved to a nursing home. At the Atrium, first she was in Independent Living, and then in Assisted Living. On both sides of the building, her care was excellent. The staff was attentive and responsive to her increasing needs. Kelly and Diana, the nurses in charge, were always aware of everything going on with all of the patients and responded to my questions and concerns promptly. They were always there to listen to me and reassure me. Reuben Rosenfeld, the Director at the Atrium, is a hands-on director, who really knows the families as well as the patients. He is also caring and responsive to the needs of the patients and their families. I always felt my mom was in good hands at the Atrium, a secure and welcoming environment. It is clean and well-run, with a competent staff of friendly and caring people Eileen S.

We had the most amazing experience at the Atrium after a very unpleasant experience at another assisted living facility where our mother fell because they wrapped her leg too tight with an ace bandage. She was struggling so much after this fall that she was admitted to a Gilchrist Hospice. To our surprise, after a lot of PT and TLC, she started to improve. My sister and I met with Reuben (who runs the Atrium) and two of the wonderful nurses (Kelly and Diana) who did an evaluation on our mom at Gilchrist. about getting our mom into their facility. At first they were hesitant to allow our mom to reside there because she was considered a two person lift; however after much consideration, they decided to give it a trial run and provided her with a room in the dementia unit ( she was starting to have memory issues). They worked so hard with her on so many levels. First they started PT on premises with their amazing staff (Katie, Kate and Danielle). Imagine our surprise when we saw our 93 year old mom riding a stationary bike. They then remembered a special piece of equipment they used on another patient to transport her to the bathroom. Our mom learned how to use this equipment to pull herself up to a standing position which was amazing. They finally said her trial run was over and she could stay. I must mention some of the names of the staff in this unit who went above and beyond for our mother. Vernai, the director of the dementia unit was wonderful. She had a smile on her face every day and pitched in and helped out whenever the staff was busy. Yana who worked in that area was our moms main caretaker. She treated her as if she was her own mother. She figured out ways to get her into the shower when it seemed impossible. She spoon fed her at the end of her life and rubbed her shoulders and neck on the last day of her life. This woman is truly an angel and we love her like family. I know I will probably leave someone out but I must mention some of the others in this unit. Bea, Ella, Evie, Tammy, and Patricia were so terrific. They treated our mom with such kindness and respect even on days she was really confused. All of these ladies treated me, my sister and brother with such warmth. Most of them were there with us the day our mom passed away. They hugged and kissed us and cried with us. The maintenance staff also treated us like gold. After our mom passed away they helped us load up our cars, then spoke to us from their hearts about knowing how hard it was to lose a loved one and then kissed us goodbye. There are no words that can express the gratitude we have for Reubin, the nursing staff, PT staff, everyone in the dementia unit, the front desk staff (Jamie), maintenance staff and all if the staff in the dining facility. These people really cared about our mother and this meant the world to us. We would highly recommend The Atrium to anyone considering an assisted living facility for their loved one. I canāt imagine any place being better than this one. They are all angels! Amy Cavalier Terry Fischer Louis Buckner (Children of the late Charlotte Buckner)

My mother and I chose Atrium Village in 2012 after visiting several other senior communities in Baltimore County. She had suffered from a stroke the year before. She liked the location (15 minutes from her home) and the pleasant staff who went out of their way to make her feel at home. She was making friends and enjoying all the amenities of the facility when she fell in 2015 and broke her arm. After an extended hospital stay, she was transferred from the Independent Living side of the facility to the Assisted Living side where she could receive more attention from nurses and nurses aides. She is at a sad place in her life now -- she's confused most of the time, she's legally blind and her arm never healed from the 2015 fall. The staff at the Atrium has been invaluable throughout all of this. I work an hour away from the Atrium and there is no other local family members to help with my mother's care. I can relax because the nursing staff and other residents have become her second family. They help her dress, walk her to meals, cut up her food, encourage her to attend activities and make sure she is safely in her room each night. I am so blessed that the Atrium was available to help us through a sad, confusing time in our family's life. They have all been a Godsend.
