My mom moved to Arbor Terrace in November 2021 and couldn't we couldn't be happier! The most important characteristic is the love and attention that the staff offers to the residents. They also communicate beautifully with us about things that they observe and make recommendations for us to improve her quality of life. The building is well cared for and clean, meals are imaginative and delicious and activities are well designed. Coming from another community before arriving at Arbor Terrace, we can say that none of these things can be taken for granted and feel so at ease knowing that she is with a community of this quality makes all the difference. Thanks to everyone at Arbor Terrace AND the wonderful residents that add to the warm environment.

Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel has been a wonderful place where our mom receives Physical Therapy but mostly she is happy and enjoys the selection of activities and outings. The staff is friendly and pleasant tending to her many needs as she also has beginning stages of dementia. There are many options for assisted living however we would not even consider moving her bc we are extremely happy with ATWC!

My mom very unexpectedly went from living alone at her home to hospital and now to Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel. She wasn't able to walk on her own, very weak, and has dementia issues. Over the 3 months the OT, PT, and general staff has been awesome!!! She is now walking with her walker, participating in activities, being social, eating, and taking her medications properly. I originally was hesitant as to mom staying at ATWC, wanting her to go home, but now the choice is obvious to keep her there. I just can't say enough as to the caring, attentive, and friendly staff at ATWC.

Based on one visit. Lovely physical plant. Cheerful people. Had lunch which was delicious. Met Chef Marcus who was impressive. Second floor rooms were quiet and serene, a little smaller than what I have but price and amenities balance that out. I put down a refundable deposit and expect to move in early in 2023.

I attended Arbor Terraces light festival in December with my son and thought it was so nice they provided that experience for the community! Everyone was so friendly and my son was still wearing the Christmas lights necklace one of the hosts gave him well after Christmas! Thanks to everyone, again, for a special night.

My first review of our moms stay at Arbor Terrace at Waugh Chapel was in July 2019, about a month after shes started living at the facility. In that review I said we were very happy with the stay she was having, that the staff was very friendly and professional. The facility appeared first class and well taken care of. Fast forward a year and a half puts us in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I thank our lucky stars and good fortune our mom is at Arbor Terrace at Waugh Chapel. The staff there are truly our lucky stars getting us through this very difficult time. Their tender care, dedication, courage, professionalism, positive character, and out reach to the family has soften the blow of the lock-down separation and anxiety we have felt. We know our mom is in the best of hands. Last week the residents at the facility all received their first vaccine shot. Hopefully this signals a turning point to better days. I look forward to the time I will be able to walk through the front door of the facility and thank those heroes of Arbor Terrace in person, and sit down with my mom and the other residents for a fine meal and good laughter.

My daughter and I had the opportunity of touring Arbor Terrace at Waugh Chapel. It gave us the great feeling of a HOME away from HOME. The facility is so designed, that you get a warm feeling upon entry. The administration and staff makes one feel comfortable and safe immediately. The lifestyle at Arbor Terrace is such that it gives one the lifestyle as one would like and believe it is as it should be. The accommodations are roomy and beautifully designed for comfort. Once one becomes a resident they begin a full life style again. The residence has all the amenities of CARE, Dining; housekeeping; safety; activities; adventures; Health (care of medications) and making ones family comfortable of the care the loved one gets. plus the comradeships of social interaction are great. Once one becomes a resident, they become family. Your lifestyle comes alive again.

Arbor Terrace is beautiful! I attended their holiday drive through with my son and Ive worked closely with the Executive Director for years. The event was beautiful and the staff was kind. In the midst of a pandemic, they work hard to not only ensure the safety of the patients, but they also work hard to ensure they know they care and come first. Having worked in Healthcare for more than 19 years, it warms my heart to see how much they care, from the Executive Director to the CNAs.

I can not say enough good things about Arbor Terrace at Waugh Chapel. We decided to move my dad to the community in July. It was a very difficult decision made harder by the world health. Every step of the way the staff at ATWC communicated with me and did everything in their power to make the transition easy on both my dad and myself. The sales staff was great reaching out to me and going above and beyond to make my dad feel comfortable and welcomed while maintaining the safety for the community. Now that my Dad has been home for three months. He is doing so great. He is an active member of the community and the engagement team has been incredible at bringing him out of his shell. He celebrated his birthday in September. And the engagement team did such a wonderful job of making him feel special and myself feel like I was able to participate. The nursing staff has been so great at communication and let me know all. And the management staff has been so great at communicating with me about any questions I had. Even when the director had personal leave she made sure my questions were addressed. I feel my dad is home and our family has grown.

My mother has only been here three months so far, but I am super impressed with this place and every person I have observed working here. The place is new, so all the employees are new to this location; and I can only hope they stay as loving and wonderful as they are now:) My momma is in her eighties and in memory care. It is run excellently. They made her feel very welcome and often they try to do things with the residents. My last visit, momma (who cant recall everything perfectly), was telling me about a scavenger hunt her and other residents of memory care were taken on....by bus, ...and a visit to a park to watch children play in the hay around Halloweentime....both of which mom loved and was very sweet and happy to relay to me. She indicated the scavenger hunt was conducted from the bus probably without getting off, not sure. Momma also told me that she and the other residents were taken out to eat somewhere nice on an outing and she didnt even have to pay:) haha, she thought that was wonderful:) In any event, these elder gems:), LOVE and have real emotional needs to get out and look around town... on the bus, to go anywhere. I am very glad this place is remembering that loss of memory does not mean one is immune from becoming bored, which is actually a painful thing for any human being:) Each room has a picture screen outside the door, which I loved to see some of these people in pictures when they were young:) pretty cool. and mom had chicken parm one of the days I was there. It was really yummy. I love that this place is right across from a mega complex of stores & restaurants with a movie theatre, so I can easily take momma across the street for hours and easily return her, in that I have a 2 hour drive (to get there & back anyway). In other words, I dont have to drive her far after I arrive, to show her some attention, love and fun nearby. Recently I took her for an entire sunday to be with our family.....and I needed to return her late, and the Arbor were very accommodating on the later return. I might add that when I arrived, they had OBVIOUSLY suggested her prettiest outfit to her, which showed real thought and care. Left to her own ideas she will usually choose or tend to...wear the same outfit nearly every day, ...and not this black sweater with gold embroidery all over it:) haha:) Glad to see they are not letting her cling to same outfit too much. I had not requested any certain cloths, just told them I was picking her up for the day to be with family. Very thoughtful on their part, to help her be so ready and waiting. They smile a lot and they treat everyone very kindly. I really like this place so much. I am aware that many times across the country places like this often do not get good reports. This is why I am SO SO SO thankful they had a room and momma was able to be accepted in this lovely facility. She has 4 kids and we love her very very much. Its really great these days that we have reviews we can read and I Hope this one helps.

Love Arbor Terrace! My Mom has thrived at Arbor Terrace. She came there in a wheelchair and now we have to remind her to use her walker! The staff is kind and responsive to Moms needs and our requests. From helping us with long term care insurance forms to daily activities, they couldnt be better. Moms favorite part of Arbor Terrace is all the activities! She always tells me, They keep us very busy here. Mom often starts the day with chair aerobics, attends a meditation class or informative travel talk, plays games, attends movies, and has even done crafts. Sip and Paint Night, an upcoming trip to Tobys Dinner Theater, and holiday parties are other fun events. I could live there! Special thanks to Kat T. for going above and beyond for the residents!! (If you can, stop by before the holiday decorations come down. Every room has holiday cheer!) Couldnt close without thanking Vanessa, Will, and Jocelyn for all of their kindness and help, too! Mr. Danny, Rose C. and so many others have made Arbor Terrace a wonderful place for my Mom to live and us to visit. Many thanks!!!

We are very happy with the stay our mom has had at Arbor Terrace over the last month. The staff is very friendly and professional. The assistance she receives for her for daily needs and medication is very good. The facility is first class and well taken care of. The meals are well prepared and plentiful. Recently we had a private anniversary party for her at the facility. The staff pulled out all the stops and went to great lengths to make it a truly memorable event. The food preparation and presentation were truly awesome.. A special thanks from us to Tiarra Jackson-Wright, Dining Director, for making it happen. Five stars all the way!

Mom has been in this Beautiful Community for a week. Shes been involved in many activities like balloon volleyball; bingo; baking and dancing. Arbor Terrace is in a great location; close to shopping and restaurants (walking distance). Between Arbor Terrace Community (so much to offer youll never need to worry about your loved one) and the location; its a WIN WIN for all!
