I wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lorien, Mt. Airy. From the compassionate front desk (Audrey) to the nurse (Karen) who assessed my husband to (Nell), the director who worked with me on expediting the paperwork and admission process and continuously followed up with me. I was seeking respite care for my husband and Nell was outstanding in helping me navigate everything that needed to be done. I would tell the owners of this facility to keep these wonderful staff members!! Thank you!!!

One of my closest friends was a resident at Lorian for long term care. Visting him was always a blessing, and the staff was professional and always helpful.

My Grandma has been a resident in the Assisted living for the past year. The nursing staff are always helpful and compassionate. The activities even through COVID had been engaging. One of the best places for your loved ones!

My parents moved to Lorien in February. Nell, the activities coordinator, is worth her weight in gold. She knows all of the residents by name and plans a variety of wonderful activities. There is a calendar each month that my mother references daily to be sure she does not miss anything! Nell is also open to new ideas! My father has Alzheimers and there are many activities he can participate in too.

Dad was there for Rehab after a fall at home, then he went to the assisted living there. It was very clean and everyone was so friendly and genuine, from Chuck in admissions to Alvin the bus driver. I would highly recommend.

What a wonderful place! Our church is very active in visiting local seniors in nursing homes and assisted livings, and we always get a warm welcome and appreciation from the staff and residents. We always look forward to going back again.
