Moving my mother into this Senior Assisted living facility was a unbelievable, very pleasant experience. The staff and in particular the sales Director Nicola Hall were personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I was impressed with the whole organization from the very first day I visited for my review; and Nicola aided every step of the way and was always available for every call and question. The biggest issue and problem that I encountered in trying to get my mother moved in, was with members of my own family not be able to agree on anything that was of my mother best interest. Nicola went way beyond the duties of her job description and literally became a member of this family and help us resolve our differences and to do the right thing. Thank you, Nicola Hall. I would highly recommend Arbor Terrace to anyone looking for an assisted living home/facility for their mother or loved one.

The front staff is very convincing but not truthful about being totally Understaffed, the residents suffer. The front office Do not care about their residents. After 3 months of being there my loved one caught covid and developed bedsores. When taken to the hospital they pulled a patient dump and would not except him back because they did not have anyone to change bedsore wounds which developed while under their care. Not worth thousands of dollars a month. We had issues from day one from forgetting to escort my father to eat dinner, not cleaning the apartment unit leaving feces on his toilet in his shower and the side of his sink. When he presses emergency button the aide takes 30 to 40 mins to respond. Their ENTIRE Wellness staff is Inexperienced, Cedrena is very uncaring and nonchalant. The aides are mostly African and seemed to have zero communication skills and very awkward. Talking with them was like talking to yourself, so I can only imagine how my loved one felt. If you value your loved one, PLEASE do not put them in Arbor Terrace in Lanham. Not enough space to list the negatives of my loved one's 3-months of being there.

The staff makes my mom and I feel like “one of the family” instead of “the new tenant and her daughter”. I am very grateful to have found Arbor Terrace.

I toured this community with my mother in law. We were searching for assisted living for my father in law. We absolutely enjoyed our tour. Staff as friendly as can be. Executive Director and marketing team truly knowledgeable. Nursing team engaging and caring. This community was beautiful and clean.

Recently, Arbor Terrace in Greenbelt hosted a birthday celebration for our mother that was enjoyed by everyone, especially our mother. Denise, the event manager, her staff and Chef Xavier did a phenomenal job of arranging everything and insuring that Mom was treated like a queen. All of the guests at the party were amazed at how they were treated and the elegance of the facility. Arbor Terrace in Greenbelt has been a blessing to our family for many years! Our mother is there now because of the wonderful previous experience we had when our father was a resident there. Even though there have been changes in personnel, our mother is experiencing the same caring, professional staff and welcoming environment.

Number on Review to speak to Owner was Arbor Terrace Facility’s number in Lanham, so I called and left several messages for the owner to call me back leaving my cell phone number. Rita (Director) emailed my brother to ask why I am calling Arbor Terrace - which means that they have not passed the message on to the owner. They are blocking me because they do not want the owner to know what I have to say. If you value your loved one, PLEASE do not put them in Arbor Terrace in Lanham. Maybe when the State and County gets involved - maybe then - the owner will call me.
