My father was in Brookdale Hagerstown when he passed. I'd recommend that if your loved one was near death to remove all valuables from their room. He died on a Monday and when we went on Tuesday to collect his things the three most valuable were missing. An "investigation" supposedly occurred but we were never notified nor items returned.

As the Activity Director I can honestly say the residents are happy and content. We have an outstanding management team who all work well together to ensure the residents are living their best lives. I’m proud to work at Brookdale Hagerstown.

My sister and I toured this facilty during our search for assisted living for her. Taylor was wonderful! She was interested in learning about my sister, what her needs and interests were and what was she looking for in assisted living. Taylor toured us through, my sister had lunch (food was great!) and visited with some of the residents, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We ultimately chose another location only because it was closer to my home. I would highly recommend Brookdale!

When I began my search for a memory care facility for my mother, Brookdale was the first place I visited. Taylor did a wonderful job of educating me and helping me deal with my gamut of emotions and concerns. The staff was very engaging and informative and spent all the time with me that I needed. Our family ultimately chose another facility closer to home, but Brookdale was one of the best experiences I had when visiting facilities and making our final decision.

My family and I are extremely satisfied with the care given to our Mother who has been a resident at Brookdale Hagerstown for over three years. The staff is very positive and accommodating to meet the needs of our mother. I have found that everyone involved is concerned about the well-being of the residents. The Executive Director has kept Brookdale families informed with regular e-mail updates during this pandemic. Thank you Kilan for these communications. I would highly recommend this facility for assisted living care for yourself or a loved one.

My mom moved to Brookdale 2 months ago. She has been welcomed with open arms, embraced by the wonderful staff, and is very happy and at home in your lovely community. She is talks about how good the meals are, and appreciates the care taken by the housekeeping and nursing staff. She has also made good friends.

An absolutely fabulous facility. The team has been so accommodating. We cant wait to spend time there with our loved one. Convenient access to 70. Spacious rooms and tons of activities. 5-stars all the way!

MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN RESIDENTS AT BROOKDALE HAGERSTOWN SINCE JANUARY OF THIS YEAR. THE CARE GIVEN BY THE NURSES, RESIDENT ASSISTANTS, THE STAFF, AND THE MANAGEMENT FOR THE MOST PART IS GREAT. THE STEPS THAT BROOKDALE HAS TAKEN TO KEEP US SAFE FROM THE COVID-19 VIRUS HAS KEPT US AS A COMMUNITY OF NOT ONE POSITIVE TEST RESULT FOR EITHER STAFF OR RESIDENTS FROM DAY 1 OF THIS HORROR THAT WE ARE LIVING WITH. THE ONE AREA THAT, IN MY OPINION, NEEDS BETTER CONTROL AND QUALITY PRODUCT IS THE KITCHEN-DINING ROOM. IRA LYNNE BLUESTEIN

Brookdale management and staff are very compassionate and caring for their residents. My Dad has been there since February 2020 and his health has improved so much since being there that Hospice has discharged him from their care. He is so happy there and never asks to go home. He loves the food and never complains about anything they have to eat. i would highly recommend if you are looking for a Senior Living Facility for a love one that you check out this facility. Thank you for taking such good care of Dad.

Within a two year time frame, I have placed 32 clients in this community with 100% positive feedback from families. Their team is dedicate and committed to making resident care an utmost priority from clinical needs to social and emotional well being. A dear friend of mine lived here for a short while. The building is clean, the staff are welcoming, and the residents always seem to be out and about. I would often pull up to find them sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch enjoing the day. I would recomend this facility to those who enjoy a home-like environment.

I highly recommend this facility. My grandmother has lived there for over 4 years. The staff is very friendly and got her involved in painting and the chorus. She loves it, and they even went to sing at a local nursing home, she can't stop talking about how good she felt giving back to the less fortunate. We have lunch with her from time to time and the food is really good!! I would give this community 10 stars if I could.

They are a very good place. I had a gut feeling that this was the one and it worked out, I just knew. Mom is getting therapy and is getting much better since being here. She has not complained about the therapy. She does arts and craft and gets her nails done. They have a great chef and she enjoys all the meals. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner with the her and the community. The housekeeping has been fine, no misplaced or lost articles. Working with [Removed] was great.

We are very pleased with all this community has done for us. My father is doing very well here. We are very happy with his move here. This is a lovely community, everything is very well maintained. His health has improved since his move here. The staff is amazing, they are great with informing me of anything that happen. Everyone is very kind and patient. This seemed like a nice place when we toured it. It was larger than the community we choose but the people conducting the tour where nice and knowledgable. The only thing I did not agree with is that the dementia residents are on the second floor.
