My Mother thrived when she moved into Country Meadows in Frederick, Maryland, and she enjoyed living there for six years. Many residents and staff members became good friends to her. It felt like they were all family looking out for one another, and enjoying each other's company. I'm very grateful my Mom had such a positive, sociallly engaged living environment for those last years of her life.

Country Meadows is the first place that could take care of my Mom with dementia to our standards. They were our 3rd dementia ward experience, and Bertha and Erin honestly explained what they could and couldn't do to best care for Mom's needs and our wants. And they actually did what they said! The communication through verbal, email, and phone is super helpful in addressing concerns and questions. This is the first place in 10 months that we have felt that when we left Mom, she was getting the same care we'd give her.

From Day One, the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Prior to selecting Country Meadows, we had multiple meetings with their managers and staff, including two tours of the community. They were extremely thorough in explaining everything to us. They answered all our questions and understood this was a major life change for my parents, showing compassion and understanding during the entire process. The inside of the retirement community is just as beautiful as the surrounding grounds and scenery. It is clean, well-kept and bright on the inside. They have taken amazing care of my parents and have tremendous patience assisting them. They are very responsive when my parents need help. Their food selection and quality are outstanding and next to the fact that my mom doesn't have to cook anymore, my parents do enjoy the variety and quality of their meals. My parents are in excellent hands at Country Meadows.

Country Meadows in Frederick has been a life saver for our family. We had to transition my mom from an independent living facility in Virginia to an assisted living facility. We chose Country Meadows due to a number of things but right off the bat was the communication we received from Debbie S. She was outstanding during this process and was so patient with me and all the questions I had. Every employee had a great attitude and was so nice to my mom. My mom has met new friends and really seems to like her new surroundings. If I have questions or concerns I can email or call and I will receive a quick response. To me that is so important. I highly recommend this facility and when you do I am sure Debbie S. and Amy M. will impress you to a point where this place would be the best option for your loved one.

Mother moved from Florida to Country Meadows in Frederick MD to be closer to family after several falls. She moved into Assisted Living and quickly integrated into the home. She had her independence as initially she needed little assistance but over the last 9 years she has required more assistance and the staff at Country Meadows has been excellent at providing that assistance without taking away her independence. The staff are excellent and get to know the residents and often go out of their way to do things for the residents. We are moving to North Carolina and have yet to find a home that can provide the levels of care and staffing that Country Meadows has.

My parents moved into Independent Living at Country Meadows Frederick about 4 years ago. My family and I could not be more pleased with our decision for them to move there. The facility and grounds are beautiful and the staff from top to bottom could not be more caring and helpful. Highly recommended!

My mother is now a resident at Country Meadows in Frederick in the Pathways section. She started out moving to the Independent Living section a few years ago. We wanted her to be closer to family after my dad passed away and it was really the best decision we could have made to move her to CM Frederick! We tried at first looking at places suggested by A Place for Mom but didn't really find the right fit. We continued looking when we found out that A Place for Mom is a "pay to play" type service - facilities paid them a few in order to be recommended to callers. Our search persistence paid off when we found a listing for CM and went for a visit! Besides being closer to family, we liked the fact that they have different levels of care so mom was able to easily transition from IL to Pathways (regenerative care) without having to look for someplace new. The maintenance staff even moved all her belongings for us! I can't say enough good things about the CM staff. They really go above and beyond to make each resident AND the families feel welcome and cared for. There are lots of different planned activities and residents can be as busy as they choose to be. Some other great points: 1. They have a number of different size units, from one and two bedrooms to studio apartments so finding something within your budget is pretty easy. 2. The facility itself doesn't seem "institutional" at all - very clean, well maintained, well decorated - the feel is more like a nice apartment building. 3. Residents/families can use the CM vehicles and drivers for transport to stores and appointments - this has really been helpful for us as mom has had more difficulty with walking and getting around. No place is perfect and I will have to say that the one downside is the hit or miss quality of the food at times. Mom can be a picky eater so we factor that in, along with the fact that CM, like other places, is I'm sure struggling to attract and keep staff in food services. To end on a positive note, I'll say again how happy we've been to have mom at Country Meadows-Frederick. It's definitely worth a look if you're searching for a spot for yourself or a family member.

Country Meadows is a good place to work. .management's are friendly, they're willing to help you learn. I have been working here for the past 5months n I feel like I have been here for a year. I feel at home here at country Meadows.

Moved my parents from SC to the Country Meadows in Frederick. By default those are not easy final years and they weren’t. My Mom and my Dad both got great care there through a number of difficult situations. You don’t get do overs, but I would choose CMF again in the same situation. Every family is different, so my advice is to visit your options.

After visiting most facilities in the Frederick area, my parents selected County Meadows for their long term care needs. Dad needed extra care after a stroke and mom couldn't provide the level of care necessary. I can't say enough about how good all of the staff were in taking care of both Mom and Dad. Dad was a hard sell to move but he finally came around and enjoyed the pampering the girls gave him. Mom flourished there. She enjoyed baking things in the kitchen and all of the activities. I would visit and she would be playing Wee bowling or tennis. My dad's brother and his wife came to live at CM also. They started out in a two bedroom apartment in independent living. After my aunt passed away, my uncle continues to live at CM but in Pathways because of the extra care a 100 year old needs. I visit him and ask he's doing and his answer is always; "I like it here, they take good care of me." The staff at CM has always been attentive and good to work with. I recommended CM to friends over the last ten years and 12 of those families moved there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CM to anyone.

Working at Country Meadows has been an amazing experience! When I first started working at the Frederick Facility i instantly felt like ive already known my coworkers for years! And feels just like family! There is AMAZING team work in every field and plenty of opportunities to advance into a career and they are huge in helping make that happen! Ive had plenty of jobs and i can say the management is amazing and to see everyone work together and well as a team, is rare to see in many work places!!!!! Not only is the staff so welcoming, and encouraging, the residents are as well! To be able to build relationship with coworkers and Residents is a joy every day and to actually be happy and looking forward going to work I believe is an amazing thing and is how you know your career. I definitely feel at home and proud of what I do as my job, I hope many others can say the same!

We moved our parents in to Country Meadows (Frederick MD) in March 2018. I was so nervous about it because Mom and Dad had been living on their own, and it was going to be a major change for them. Let me just say that the Connections staff made their transition a smooth one. They are some of the best people I have ever known, and the care they provided my parents (and others) was amazing. Mom and dad have since passed, but the country meadows Connections staff will always be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. Thank You All from the bottom of my heart. Phil Boroughs

My brothers and I moved our Mom into CM a few years ago. She progressed from independent to assisted living about two years ago. In October, she departed this Earth after a great 95 year run. We are SO glad we selected CM for Mom to live out her final years. Every single member of the staff we interacted with treated Mom (and us!) like family. She could be a real handful, but the CM took it all in stride. When Mom died, the outpouring of support from CM was simply amazing. We knew she had been in the right place after encountering more than one CM team member in tears over her departure! Wow. Moving our Mom out of the condo she and Dad shared was not easy. The transition to CM for all of us was relatively so, in no small part due to the wonderful people there. Looking for a place that will keep you loved one safe and sound? Country Meadows!! 🙂

I always felt CM Frederick has done a great job engaging and working with my Dad and a nice environment in general. When I drove in and saw the Veterans message today on the yard signs I told my Dad he was famous knowing he hadnt seen it in person. I can tell it made him happy. Nice touch Country Meadows!

Country Meadows is a great place for both the employees, and for the residents that live there. I personally have been working there for nearly a year, and the amount of knowledge and experience I've gained is amazing. Being there with the residents, forming bonds with them, and becoming their friend is great. The people that I work with and the residents that live here feel like a second family to me. The employees here take pride in knowing that we're doing something good for people. Being able to do something for a resident that makes their day better feels extremely rewarding. Country Meadows will meet and exceed all standards. Any person that moves into a Country Meadows retirement home will be met with a warm welcome and will make friends almost immediately.

Very happy with Country Meadows, Mom who is soon to be 90 has been living there for over a year. It's been a very difficult decision to move her to an assisted living facility but we feel she is well cared for. The staff is caring and treat her like family.

This is the very best elderly care, at all levels, in the North East. From memory care to independent living they do it all right. My mother was a resident in Assisted Living and my mother in law was a resident in Alzheimer's care in Pennsylvania. Also my good friend Walter is a resident in Independent Living. Everyone is treated with great care and respect and Love!

I can't say enough great things about Country Meadows and their caring staff! My Dad lived upstairs in Pathways for almost a year and my Mom lived downstairs in the Memory Care Unit for a year and a half. Neither of my parents could get around on their own so the staff made sure they saw each other every day and would bring one to see the other. That's just one example of the many great things all of the staff commonly did for my parents to improve their quality of life. I refer to them as staff but now that both of my parents have passed away, I realize ALL of the staff (Directors, Managers, Nurses, Med Techs, Caregivers, Activity Directors, Receptionists, Housekeeping and Maintenance) were really more like family. Thank you Country Meadows of Frederick for treating our entire family like family. I'm so happy, relieved and satisfied that we trusted you to care for us. I will miss seeing and chatting with you all.

Living 2,000 miles from my elderly parents has been very difficult. Thank heavens for my siblings and for Moraine Ridge Senior Living. My parents are happy and comfortable. The facility is clean and cheery, and the staff is wonderful. The constant worry is gone. Thanks for all you do for my parents!

Looks nice. It's a downsize for me, but I have too much room anyway. Like that you get meals. No cooking is a plus!

My mom is in independent living there after living alone for over 7 years. She enjoys being able to be with people again, have meals with other residents, and not have the responsibility of taking care of a house anymore. The staff treat the residents with respect, dignity, and a lot of humor. If you or your loved one is looking for a great place to live and thrive in older years, I highly recommend this place.
