My mom was a resident of Abbey Manor for over 9 years. She always received the best of care. She thought of Abbey Manor as her home and the staff as her family. I never worried about her well being and she was safe and well loved in this facility.

My mother was a resident of Abbey Manor Building 1. She loved it and they loved her. She found new purpose and happiness there. When she became sick with her final illness, the staff cared for her and loved her as if she were their own mother. They worked wonderfully with hospice and attended her with love and care. They also were very supportive of my brother and me as we went through the final weeks of her life. I think of the staff every time I think of my mom. I will never forget them. Placing our mother there was a great decision.

Very pleased with the level of care from all the staff in building one. They exhibit patience and caring daily. Melissa does a great job of trying to make the facility welcoming and accommodating. I thank her for helping me get pieces of my dad back that I thought had gotten lost. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Food is excellent! They go the extra mile to make the residents feel like family. I sleep better at night knowing my dad is in good hands. We couldn’t be happier in our choice of Abbey Manor.

My Father was a resident at Abbey Manor. We were so blessed to be able to find such a wonderful facility for him. He was in building 1 and we had the best staff to take care of him when we could no longer do it on our own. They treated him just as they would one of their family members. We became so very close to the staff and patients that were working with him. I am so thankful for having this extended family as part of ours. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Abbey Manor Building # 1 I am impressed with the level of care and dedication to the residence. They treat my mother with respect and kindness. The level of patience and empathy is excellent. I observed on one occasion a caregiver feeling very sad about a loss of a resident. The building is clean and bright and has an excellent staff.

The staff are very friendly, and take wonderful care of my mother-in-law.An amazingly clean place, where they have also provided a homie atmosphere in her room and in the main areas. I would suggest this facility to others looking for a place for themselves, or for a loved one.

Caring
My father is in Abbey Manor. It was close to us and homey. They have activities, like listening to music. He's thriving and doing well there. It's really nice. The staff communicates with us very well.

My friend lived there and died there.He had slight dementia, he enjoyed living there and was well cared for. Colon cancer and liver cancer took him. The staff and food were great. Good housekeeping ,clean environment.

My dad has been living at Abbey Manor for the past 8 months. I feel totally secure with the staff that cares for my father and I know he is safe, which is super important to me! It is a warm, loving environment and the director and her family are compassionate, wonderful people who have truly impacted our lives. The facility and rooms are cozy, clean and inviting. The girls that work there always have a friendly hello and smile for my dad- the way they treat the residents make it quite evident that they truly care for them and this isn't "just a job." I highly recommend Abbey Manor to anyone who needs to help their loved one find an assisted living facility where they can ensure they will be happy and safe!

Our mother has been in three rehab centers in long term care facilities and two assisted-living facilities within the past two years. Abby Manor assisted living is heads and shoulders above the rest. The facility is small and the staff is awesome! The staff is very responsive to all requests and questions. They treat our mother like they would their own relative. We have been at Abbey Manor for four months and are so happy we found them!

My mom has been a resident of Abbey Manor for a little over 2 years and she is thriving! She likes the staff and the other residents, the meals and the activities. What she likes the most is that she doesn't have to cook or clean and can spend her time watching birds or TV . I like it that she has her own room and bathroom and everything is spotless. When I have a question or a concern, I send off an email and it is answered almost immediately. My mom is safe and lives in a comfortable environment, and when I visit her, I can spend my time with her and not have to worry about the quality of her care.

We had looked at many assisted living facilities before we settled on Abbey Manor. During the initial tour of the facility, we had that overwhelming feeling that we found the right place for our beloved uncle. The conversation about completing the application forms was pleasant and not problematic. My uncle's move in to Abbey Manor was effortless and quite pleasant. The staff was so kind and thoughtful at all times. The building was always clean and the rooms were perfect. My uncle enjoyed the food and the way it was the prepared ; just the way he liked it. There was a certain peace about the place that was evident all the way until the very end. It was the perfect place to have a loved family member cared for when we no longer were able to provide this care. Abbey Manor was truly a hidden gem that we had the pleasure of personally experiencing. Thank you Abbey Manor for caring.

Abbey Manor was fairly new, so it was nice, clean and orderly. They had private rooms and the people were very helpful. They were a good group to work with. The dining room was very nice, neat and orderly. Everything was presentable and looked good.

My Mother-in-Law had early stage dementia when we moved her in to Abbey Manor. The first few days of the transition proved very difficult with lots of crying and confusion. The various staff at the manor kept reassuring us that it would be fine in a few days and this behavior was normal. In a few days my mother-in-law believed she was at a resort. She said everyone was so nice and treated her great. She especially loved that for breakfast they would give her anything that she wanted. That always made her feel like she was on vacation. Time went by and as things got worse I went from her son-in-law to that nice young man who visits in the afternoon. I was the guy who wheeled her outside and around the building grounds. Thru all this she loved her stay and her room at Abbey Manor. The staff did everything to keep her busy and to use her mind. I can think of only one concern during this time and that was the staffing on the 11pm-600am shift seemed to me to be underepresented. Some nights one person could not keep up, she tried but I doubt anyone could.
