My concern is the safety of certain patients. Because there are no bed railings, that is a concern for me. The staff is awesome. I am sure they are stretched to the limit. But they do offer a solution of sitting the patient in the hall where they can keep an eye on that particular patient. Most rehab places smell pissy but this facility does not. However, I have not seen anyone clean the bathrooms. This is a concern.

Visibly it's changed; looks refreshed with new floors, painted walls, however, some of the staff are real snots! I asked for help as I was trying to find a room & her looks & mannerism was like what do you want! There were a group of ladies at the station but they acted like you were interfering with their time of chatting. I wish I had gotten that particular ladies name. She indeed was rude! The place is definitely busy & I wonder if during the renovation the hallway size was cut down as it can be real tight just walking in there. The parking is horrible & not enough handicap spaces. It puzzles me why as long as this building has been here they didn't add on a floor above to make it easier for everyone. The room my friend is in is tight with no extra chair to sit down on. I think he's ok with the place & that is what matters, but again some of the ladies need an attitude check! I'd be concerned if I complained about that particular person my friend indeed would pay for it.

I think it’s one of the better homes. Some of the employees are careless - idk names - however the ones that really care make the biggest difference. My grandmothers brother is there and whenever she has an issue or complaint they fix it. you have to keep an eye on things but there’s some good people there

Sadly we have family who has been determined to need help BUT Sterling Care has turned out to be the best place possible in all honesty. The staff truly cares and our aunt is receiving truly wonderful care. The facility is clean and everyone there is aware of and accommodates patient needs in such a caring way.

Today I visited my mother with my cousin Pam and her husband Dan and they complimented Sterling for being a very nice and clean facility. The staff was very attentive to my mother ensuring she had her meals on time, a bath before 3 pm shift change, and that she had all of her medications on time to ensure she was comfortable and not in any undue pain. The nurse on staff also checked on my mother following her visit to the doctor yesterday and informed me of the results of her visit. She also made sure to call her other doctor to schedule a follow up visit. She was very courteous and professional. I was also able to inform the staff that my mother needed new pad and sheet and they promptly provided it. They are always so nice and courteous and go above and beyond to ensure my mother’s care is always a priority. I appreciate and value their time and assistance. And highly recommend Sterling.

Sterling Rehab in Bel Air is the best rehab facility I have visited in recent years. From the time you walk in, the receptionist is very friendly. While visiting I was impressed with the cleanliness and lack of unpleasant smells. The staff that attended the patient I visited were helpful and answered questions in a friendly manner, even though they were busy. I was very appreciative of Nurse Kimberley who spent time answering questions and was very helpful.

This was my first visit. I was impressed as I walked in with the security measures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients as well as the staff. Another thing that impressed me was the staff-patient relationships. The patients were clean in appearance and seemed in good spirits. I was impressed as they were seated near the nurses' station and the staff engaged in verbal as well as hands-on interaction with them. In addition, the appearance of the facility along with the smell. I have visited and had relatives as residents and there was always a distinct smell as you entered the building. However, this was not the case with your facility!!

I have two parents experiencing rehab at Sterling. While staying at a senior care rehab center is always difficult, the level of care at Sterling has been exceptional. They could probably use more staffing, but it’s managed well, and every concern we bring up is quickly addressed.

Only a portion of the nursing assistants understand what quality patient care is about. Some were outright gruff and obnoxious to me, especially on the night shift. However, the PT, OT & ST staff. were wonderful, as well as a majority of the nursing staff. There were a couple of nurses who were rude and pushy. Food was always cold, and my room was like a refrigerator for the majority of my month and a half stay. Even a brand new window heating unit that was installed shot cold air out of one of the vents. The brightest spot in my experience At Sterling was working with an NA named Keesha Perry. She truly understands what quality patient care is all about.
