My mom moved in a few months ago! She was on the verge of not living much longer. She has a new lease on life with all the friends she has made and the caring staff who are always willing to give her a hug and tell her how happy she looks. The only thing she complains about is the food but understands that it is hard to please everyone and their dietary needs. She said that happy hour and dinner time are her favorite times of the day because they have so much fun talking with each other! So glad we made the choice to move her there!

Mom passed away last November but I can honestly say that her last few years were spent having fun and being very well cared for. Mom moved into Wellspring during the pandemic. A horrible time for us all, but more so for folks who experience memory loss. Brightview kept mom safe from the virus, but also maintained a fullness of life - something that was lacking in other memory care facilities, (and that breaks my heart.) Mom enjoyed every bit of the Vibrant Living Experience. It's real. The staff makes sure that everyone has a good time. At any time, any day, family and friends were always welcome. ALL staff I encountered were friendly and caring. I learned so much about how my mom viewed her world and could always talk to staff if/when I had any questions or concerns about her health. If you have a loved one experiencing memory loss, I highly recommend Brightview of Annapolis, specifically. The facility is lovely, the staff are educated and kind. I miss visiting mom but my heart is glad that her last years were spent at Brightview.

I was playing jazz for a New Year's celebration, and the residents were so friendly and such a great audience. The staff welcomed us and helped us in various ways like moving the piano and introducing us to the residents.

Brightview is perfect for my Mom! The staff are excellent and they're friendly and kind to the residents and visitors alike. There are also many opportunities for socializing and meeting new people. We're so happy to see Mom involved in fun activities and friendships. Brightview has been a real find!

I have worked in the long term care industry for many years and hesitated to have my Mom move to an assisted living facility. As happens in life a decision had to be made to find the right spot for Mom. After months of searching and visiting every facility in the Annapolis area the family decided on Brightview Annapolis. We had the pleasure of working with Paul, who truly went the extra mile to get to know my Mom. He even had her "special" bottle for her at the bar. Kelsene and her caring staff worked very hard to help Mom become comfortable in her new surroundings, not an easy task. All of the nurses, assisted living assistants, dining team associates, house keeping members, activities department have the kindest and biggest hearts. Because of this dedicated staff I knew my Mom was in good hands. Brightview Annapolis was the right spot for my Mom and our family.

My mother moved to assisted living for the last months of her life in 2019. During her stay we appreciated the variety of activities within the same building that ranged from music of all types to bingo. Initially we underestimated the importance of happy hour but witnessed how for those who like to interact socially it was treasured time and could brighten the day. The friendly staff and on site rabbit as well as the variety of public spaces provided entertainment during our visits. Recently my wife visited with the thought of moving her 101 year old mother from Virginia. The staff responded immediately and although all the elements we so appreciated were still in place if not better we decided the physical move was not in Mom's best interest and wished as we had in 2019 that we could have had her there all along.

My parents began living at BrightView Annapolis last summer during the pandemic. We have been impressed with the lengths the staff members have gone to keep the residents safe and still provide opportunities for distanced dining and social events that allowed my parents to integrate. One day I got an email from a staff member telling me to check out my parents dancing on Facebook during one of many musical concerts BVA safely hosted during the pandemic for the residents. Now that the residents are vaccinated and restrictions can slowly lift, we look forward to all the fun events ahead.

Top notch facility with caring and responsive staff and LOTS of activities. Took great care and caution during COVID and did their best to protect the residents while allowing some family time (outdoor, masked, distanced visits). All are now vaccinated and enjoying the facility once again.

For years I have appreciated the great care which BV Annapolis provided to my mother, who was first in Independent Living and then moved to Assisted Living. As you can imagine having to move to AL was upsetting to her. All along I have felt that the BV staff cares about her and treats her as though she was part of their own family. And particularly during the stressful days of the Pandemic, they kept her safe and kept her as happy as was possible during the circumstances. Even when I couldn't visit I didn't feel like she was alone because the caregivers have become her friends. BV made tough decisions when necessary, always with the best interest of the residents in mind. I can't imagine how traumatic it must have been for them doing their best to keep everyone safe as well as happy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and tender care, and very glad that we chose Brightview!
