The employees were welcoming , helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. The center was clean and smelled fresh. The elderly want all needs taken care of in a gentle and kind manner. They want to be surrounded by employees that want to be there to help assist them with a smile and comforting words.The patient that I visited was well cared for and happy to be there. I would definitely recommend this facility for a loved one.

Hillhaven has been a go-to for our loved ones for a few years now. My mom before she passed was like a family member at Hillhaven. She was in and out quite a bit and the service was good all the time. Now my stepfather is a resident there and they have treated him well and is treating him well again. Thank you Hillhaven.

I went with my client to celebrate his wife birthday at Sterling Care Hillhaven for the first time , and I was impressed for the place. The employees was very nice, wellness , helpful and kind, they rooms are clean, and the residents look clean and ready for the day. It's a perfect place for work and staying for a new life start I love it.

My loved one was sent to Sterling Care Hillhaven for rehab. It was the worse experience of their life. The nurses appeared nice to the family members and friends that would visit but once we left my loved one was neglected. My loved one was left in a soiled diaper for 3 days and longer. Bed linen was not changed unless asked by client or family members. Meals would stop you from eating anything prepared by the kitchen. Water was hot and coffee was cold. Asking for help from the staff was pleasantly ignored. When calling my loved one's room the phone would ring until it rang back to the operator. It wasn't until I tested the direct number to their room did we find out the phone was not connected. I gave this facility 3 stars only because the roof didn't leak.

Pros: The staff was warm and professional. I appreciated the care and respect they demonstrated for my sister and for all of the patients whose interactions I witnessed. My sister received the amount of therapy and attention she needed. The staff was responsive and communicative and always available. Cons: The ratio of patients to toilets was, in many cases, for rehab, 4 patients to one toilet. Patients with special needs, like colostomies, would find this difficult to impossible. This is my only criticism of an otherwise excellent facility for rehab.

My uncle was transferred to Hillhaven this week. I stopped by to see him and he is in such good spirits. Everyone was so sweet. No one had snappy attitudes. No one was running away from questions. I will continue to update this review as I learn names. I am happy that he is comfortable and being taken care of. He is optimistic now. He has made it through the worst of it and is ready for PT. Thank you all for taking such good care of him.

My loved one was admitted to for rehabilitation. Everyone is so nice and helpful and the faculty is nice and clean as well as the patients rooms. My aunt arrived in time to have dinner and it was hot and my aunt said it was very tasty. I'm confident that my family and I made the right choice in selecting Sterling Care Hillhaven.

This place is amazing the staff are so supportive and my Dad received the best of Care. My Dad John passed away September 7, 2022 and I was on my way from California and the were so sweet and had a staff member sit with my Dad so he would not be by himself. I will always be Thankful for Melody making it so easy for me to make arrangements for my Dad to move from the rehab unit over to his apartment in the assisted living area. The provided the furniture for my Dad and made sure he had everything he needed. The staff was there to assist my Dad with all his Acts of Daily living and contacted me weekly on how he was doing. It is clean and the staff is kind. If you are looking for a great place for your loved one you could not ask for a better place. Thank you for all you did, Cindy

Although there is much positive feedback regarding Hillhaven Assisted Living, our personal experience does not mirror these praises. My mother is currently residing there and it's becoming significantly challenging to garner a response or initiate contact with a Doctor or Nurse to discuss crucial health matters. Last week, it took in excess of 7 calls to coordinate a basic medical procedure. This was particularly unsettling given that the procedure was an initial topic of discussion with the nurse on the day my mother was admitted for rehabilitation. We've been trying to gain assistance with an arguably graver medical concern, but after two calls and as many assurances today, there has been no action. The possibility of entrusting Hillhaven with my mother's long-term care was under consideration, but our faith in their ability to care for those who cannot independently stand up for themselves has waned. I intend to reach out to the patient advocate tomorrow and will provide an update on this post to keep readers informed about the outcome.

Great place for recovery. My mom was there for 20 days, as approved by her insurance, but at the time of her discharged, she begged to spend some more time at this facility. She state that " I really like it here. This place is so clean, the staff are so polite, the doctors are so caring and friendly. They treated me as if I was the owner of this place. I found new friends in therapy too. Their food is very tasty." I, her daughter, couldn't disagree with her because as a visitor, I was always treated with respect, was satisfied with answers to questions concerning her care and was please with my mother's speedy recovery enhanced by her satisfaction of her care. Thank you all for the great work.

I've had a wonderful experience with Hillhaven with both of my parents at different times over a span of 10 years. My mother went there in 2013 into the skilled nursing section when we could no longer care for her at home. Both my dad and I visited daily and the staff at Hillhaven became a second family. She received wonderful care and we always knew that was where she would get high quality nursing. She died with dignity and was surrounded by family and friends who became like family to us. Seven years later, my dad moved into the assisted living section. He lives there now - able to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle - still reading, working crosswords, and doing jigsaw puzzles. But my sisters and I have peace of mind that someone is always close by if he should need anything day or night! These years with Covid have been hard, but Hillhaven has worked hard to keep families informed of visiting policies, which are designed to keep residents safe. Things are opening up now but we know that we'll be kept updated if things change. Caring for aging parents is really hard and I am so thankful that Hillhaven has been a part of the team to help both my parents live with the dignity and support they deserve. Thank you, Hillhaven!

Beautiful setting! The apartments are spacious and I was surprised to see the personal refrigerator/freezer. Staff were very attentive and friendly, and make you feel welcome. I love the dining area and the outside patio area (from the window). I would definitely recommend for anyone in need of assisted living services.

I made an appointment to see my mother on a Tuesday at 5pm. I arrived at 4:38 pm yo check in let front desk know Im here to give my mom time to get her ready so that I can see my mother on time. I noticed others coming after me and were United with their family member. Im still waiting and wondering why my mother hasnt come out yet and its 5:17pm. Ive been waiting for over 30 minutes. This isnt the 1st time having an issue with seeing my mother. Im the authorized person who makes the decisions for my mother. This is annoying my mother was last coming out.

A close 80-year-old friend recovering from brain surgery has thrived at Hillhaven Rehabilitation and now Hillhaven Assisted Living. Care has been outstanding. Staff are skilled and caring, especially nurse Jennifer Watkins and nursing assistant Molly Da Silva. They have gotten his weight from a dangerous 92 lb. to 110 lb. so far. Even when passing him in the hall, everyone recognizes him, calls him respectfully by his last name, and shows interest in how he is doing. These people are wonderful, and I credit them with saving my friends life.

I was personally impressed by how each of the staff members felt empowered to help you with your need - even if it wasn't their specific area of work.
