My family of six visited Sturgeon Creek II for a tour for our mom, who’s considering moving back home to Manitoba after her husband’s recent passing. She’s a three-time widow who loves life, laughter, and “getting up to no good with the girls,” so this was a big and emotional step for her. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming the receptionist was friendly, the building bright and full of life, and you could see genuine connections between staff and residents. We met with Santana for our tour, and she was absolutely incredible. She spent hours with us, offered coffee and tea, even lunch! answered every question thoroughly, and made us feel completely at ease. When Mom FaceTimed during the visit, Santana even offered to give her a private virtual tour. Whatever she showed her clearly worked..Mom was laughing, joking about being “the new kid on the block,” and picking out her favorite sunny table by the window! The next day, Mom requested information on how to join their waitlist and is planning a holiday visit. Huge thanks to Santana and the Sturgeon Creek II team for turning a difficult decision into an exciting new chapter for our family.

The staff always friendly. Allison every Thursday had alot of activities for the residents. They had bands and other Thursdays they had food in the Bistro Room. They have a little library if you want to read. Mike the director was the best. Karen who is Allison's boss is a pleasure to talk to if you need help. Homemade workers always helpful. The food for the residents is unbelievable. We had many meals with my aunt. The room that my aunt was in is very spacious for one person. Big bedroom and bathroom. The closet is very big the living area is just big enough for one person. They allow pets.

My brother and I visited Sturgeon Creek II kind of in a panic. Our 86 year old Mom had fallen and broken her leg and could not return home. Santana met with us and calmed all of our fears. She met with us, showed us around, told us all the options available. We were desperate for a place and Santana went out of her way to ensure we had a safe option for Mom as soon as she was released from hospital. Mom had to spend a couple nights in the courtesy suite while hers was being painted. Santana ensured, along with other staff, that Mom was safe and comfortable from the moment we wheeled Mom into the building. Mom is now in her suite, She LOVES her new home. She reports the food is great and the people at her table, that Santana personally chose for her, are very nice! Thank you for being there for our family! We hope Mom has many happy years in her new home!! Thank you Santana for continuing to care for my Mom.

My 92 year old Mother moved into Sturgeon Creek 6 months ago. The overall team, led my Michael Hart, have made a significant difference for my Mom and our family. The staff give exceptional care on all levels. There is a nurse on duty. Meals are freshly made daily. There are many activities. Most of all is the feeling of family you get when you walk in. It's everywhere. True caring! They truly have made a difference for my Mom and our family. Thank you Sturgeon Creek II.

I am the owner of Leapfrog Moving Specialists, Inc. I have been in business for over 14 years and have been providing full service moves into Sturgeon 2 for the duration of my career. Sturgeon Creek 2 is a beautiful building! The building itself has the feel of "home" from the moment you walk in the front door. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. I have known the Executive Director, Michael, for years. His is a kind, and witty man who is always upbeat and hands on! Tania Hodges, the Lifestyle/Marketing Director is just delightful! She is extremely accommodating and will always greet you with her bright smile! The front desk staff, nurse, activity director, cleaning staff and every helping had that make the building operate are always pleasant. I would highly recommend Sturgeon Creek 2 as your, or your loved ones next home! 5*****

The management and staff at Sturgeon Creek place 2 are the best! They take time out of their busy days to meet and greet everyone. Every resident is treated like part of the family. My mother has been treated so well there! Anytime she comes down to the desk, she is greeted with a smile, and treated so respectfully by all the folks that work there! She loves the meals, and the suites are very nice as well. Thank you so much Michael and crew for making my mothers life a little brighter!

I like the idea that there is nursing staff on duty and someone is available at night time in case of an emergency or if there is a need - I am a PTSD disabled veteran and often can't sleep and its great to know someone is there to talk too if necessary, thank you, its a great bonus to residency. My mom. Muriel Captain, was a resident at the Sturgeon Creek II from June 2016 until May 2018. She loved her suite, the friends that she made, and the friendly caring staff. Unfortunately mom had a number of strokes, but the care and understanding that she received from the staff and home care workers was exceptional. Our family is very grateful that mom was able to spend her last years in such a wonderful environment. Thank you

I have only been here since September (16) and the residence definitely deserves more than 5 stars. The facility offers excellent amenities to make living here a joy; excellent cuisine, the friendliest staff anyone could experience, recreational opportunities if you are a shopper or in house programs if you are not a shopper (like me), and the opportunity to celebrate your Faith on the premises and off the premises. Good neighbours are a Blessing and that is definitely found here. .... Gary.
