Find Amber medals for three years and I still go back and do a demonstration, one diabetic baking. I have found people there very friendly and very accommodating. They make me feel very welcome every time I come. And the friends that you make there are very nice friends. There are lots of activities starting with exercise every morning, but they also includes side roads and trips a trip to the prairie dog Central trip to the horse racing track and a trip usually every Wednesday out for lunch it definitely is community living that as we become seniors, we can always use the extra friends since our family isn’t always available 24 seven. Good place to go when you need that extra little bit of help.

My mother has been a long-term resident at Amber Meadows and my experience over the years in dealing with the management and staff there has been nothing but favourable. Everyone has been very helpful in helping my mother with problems that she may encounter. They have also helped me by reporting situations that develop, as I am away much of the time and cannot be there much of the time to help personally. Amber Meadows is well managed with a caring and considerate management that provides for the elderly people living there, who are mostly not self-sufficient. I would highly recommend this well-maintained facility for anyone considering living there.

I recently looked at Amber meadows for my relative to live. I found Sharon to be very friendly and she did all she could to help with pricing. The facility is small but very clean. I love the flower arrangements made every Friday by the residence. Three meals a day. The rooms are larger than I thought. They have all the amenities needed including a hair salon, pharmacy and convenient store and many other programs for residence. I would consider this for myself in years to come. I thought the rent is very reasonable most of all.

On one occasion, I called because I was concerned about a resident, and they immediately checked on her in her apartment to make sure she was safe. That level of attentiveness and responsiveness speaks volumes about their commitment. On our initial visit my daughter and I were greeted and warmly welcomed by the manager Sharon Francisco. She made us feel very comfortable and provided us with the answers to all the questions and concerns we had. We were treated to a very lovely supper and given a complete tour of the facilities and rooms available. She has been very accommodating to us in dealing with our immediate situation. You get a very home like and welcoming feeling when you enter Amber Meadows. Many Thanks to Sharon and her staff for the hospitality and warm welcome. We look forward to moving in at the end of the month.

Good day. My Mom and Stepdad have been living at Amber Meadows for over two years now and they're happy living there. The management and staff are all very nice people and do their upmost to help the residents with any and all concerns. They're always there to help my Mom with any problems she might have. The food is excellent. The building is always very clean and well maintained. I was in Winnipeg last summer to visit my Mom for a few weeks. I had an apartment in the building to stay in while I was visiting and use of all services including my meals. I enjoyed my stay and made real good friends with the management and a lot of the staff members. The management helped me with some of the concerns I had with my Mom and we resolved those issues very easily and quickly. If you have senior parents and looking for a wonderful place for them to live I highly recommend Amber Meadows.

Amber Meadow is a wonderful facility. My mom moved into a studio in January of 2025 and the staff were very welcoming. Meals were really good and there were lots of activities available. It is nice that they allow pets. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my mom was no longer able to live alone and had to move into longterm care. She still talks about the people and staff at Amber meadow and how nice they were. I would absolutely recommend this facility for someone that requires assisted living.

Very nice building. It’s very clean and appears to be very well run. Very close to many amenities; hospital, doctor office, dental office, Walmart, Shoppers Drugs, DynaCare, and 3 shopping centres. Great, polite staff. It’s just a touch too fancy for this country boy. 🙂

Amber Meadows is one of the nicer areas in the north end of Winnipeg. It’s quiet, clean, and has a good community feel. Lots of parks and green space around, and everything you need like groceries and shops are just a short drive away. Definitely a solid neighborhood if you’re looking for somewhere calm and family-friendly.

Mom was worried leaving her neighborhood of 70+ years and leaving behind long time friends. She has found a new place and a belonging at Amber Meadows. Mom has made new friends and is involved in activities at the residence and on outings organized by Amber Meadows staff and leadership. The pharmacy and salon are great amenities. We recently had a tour of the facility, considering it for our parents. We had the opportunity to actually have lunch there, which is my surprise was really good and very well prepared. It seems that they have their own chefs on staff that cooked the food fresh no, this is frozen that I found very impressive. The building itself is well maintained and very Clean. The staff that working with facility are extremely friendly and they’re very attentive to the needs of everyone in the facility, I saw that firsthand grab a resident needed some assistance and the staff was quick to respond and take care of this residence needs. The Staff are constantly around and all is available for whatever the residents require. I could see this being a place for my parents and this is definitely high on the priority list. I would recommend that people take the time to view and ask questions about Amber Meadows.

I have been staying at Amber meadow assisted living for almost a year and find it very convenient and comfortable I have to go to dialysis three days a week and use amber meadow shuttle to get to HSC and it is convenient and I get along with other residents well

Finding the right place for my 90-year-old father and 84-year-old mother (who has Parkinson’s) was a daunting task, but Amber Meadow made it seamless. From the moment I filled out their contact form, the response was immediate. Sharon F. is truly an angel”empathetic, knowledgeable, and so warm during our tour. The facility is spotless, the rooms are filled with beautiful sunlight, and the team is incredibly friendly. I love that the food is prepared fresh daily with great variety. Our priests from our parish was admitted into hospital and unfortunately, was not able to return to his residence at the church. Amber Meadows Was highly recommended by three of our parishioners who have family Members who are residence. From the moment I contacted the Admin staff for information about if they had a suite available for Father for about a month or two at the most the staff went above and beyond to answer all my questions and they ensured his transition from hospital went smoothly and he felt welcomed right From the moment he arrived at Amber Meadows, You could feel the sense of togetherness of the residence and families. Here we are three months later and he has made the decision to stay where he is and not go to the retirement home that he was on the waiting list for that has now become available. What stands out the most is the genuine warmth, kindness, dignity and respect that all the staff members show the residence and their family member. 5 star

Walking in the door of Amber Meadows you can feel the energy of the residents and staff. The smiles on people’s faces are contagious, feeling extremely inviting. Watching the staff interacting with the residents you can see how much they care. Seeing the different aspects of the independent living facility. Amber Meadows is a wonderful facility. I recently had to move my aunt into an assisted living facility on fairly short notice. Luckily there was a space available, and the staff bent over backwards to help facilitate the move. My aunt has thrived at this facility! The meals are fantastic and the assistance she receives from all of the staff is amazing. She loves inviting her friends to visit and show them her suite and the facility. On January 13, 2026 I was in a time sensitive position to find a place for my dad as he was being discharged from the hospital.. I made a phone call to Amber Meadows and spoke with Sharon. She was so very pleasant and understood my need for finding a placement. She told me to come down and she would show me some suites. As luck would have it there was an empty suite and the following day my dad came to his new home. Anyone who has been in this position, to keep their loved One safe, knows this is an extremely emotionally charged time. All the staff at Amber Meadows go above and beyond for their residents. I have been staying at Amber Meadow assisted living apartment since being released from Seven Oaks Hospital. The accommodations are top notch and the 3 meals daily are all freshly made every day by an onsite Red Seal chef. Linens are washed and apartments are vacuumed weekly. I have no complaints having lived here for 2 months.

Amber Meadow has been a God send for our family. The Management team and support services team has been so very supportive of our parents and has made their new home a warm and comfortable one. The food is tasty and healthy, the environment is clean, there is a library with a variety of books to read, a games/ exercise room, a chapel, and there are always activities to keep our parents’ minds stimulated and their body’s active. Amber Meadow also provides a community for our parents which is so important for health, connection, and longevity. We just can’t say enough about absolutely everything we have experienced at Amber Meadow, from my first meeting with Sharon, followed by a meeting with Jeff and the constant caring nature of Paulo, their empathy and compassion is unlimited. Every single staff member is kind, courteous and caring. We have to also mention that each of the Home Care aids that we work with here are also extremely caring and compassionate. The meals have been great and the bus service is truly an added bonus. As I write this, I cannot think of anything negative. Amber Meadows is a beautiful facility. My mother recently moved in, and she loved it instantly. The staff are so kind, helpful, and professional, you can really tell that they care. My husband and I came out for a visit from British Columbia, and we stayed with my mom, in her spacious suite. We enjoyed the staff and residents. We were made to feel comfortable and welcomed. We ate at Amber Meadows, and the meals were delicious. My mom is happy there, and I feel relieved that she is well taken care of. I don't have to worry about her, she is well cared for. My siblings and their children visit my mom weekly, and always report back to me how amazing Amber Meadows is. It's not a facility, it's a home. Thank you!

My experience with Amber Medows is always a positive one. The staff is very nice and professional. They are very helpful to find your resident. The place is very clean, the vibe is very cosy. Sharron is very involved with the residents and the visitors. She knows each resident’s name and last name and their room number by heart. I find that very extraordinary. Yesterday I got invited to an open house. I was also allowed to bring two guests with me. The food was so tasty. The service was amazing. The help is plenty. The residents are very clean and satisfied. They also had musicians live music entertaining the residents. I would love to visit again. Thank you Sharron.

I wanted to update my review because unfortunately my dad passed away but wanted to add to my review how grateful I was to how the staff at Amber Meadow was amazing to my dad and they truly cared for their residents. It took a lot of stress of us knowing he was safe and well fed. He made friends and felt like part of the community. My dad will be moving into Amber Meadow this weekend and the staff has been so helpful and welcoming I have peace of mind my dad will be safe and cared for and hopefully make some friends 🙂

My parents have been at Amber Meadow since April of 2022. The staff at Amber Meadow are constantly smiling and very welcoming when we visit. They are very gracious inviting us to stay and join our parents for a meal . The meals are of a good variety, and the serving staff know the tenants likes, dislikes and favorites when it comes to beverages and deserts. The main dining hall is always clean and ready for the next sitting. The hallways are always vacuumed. Fresh flowers are always gathered and put in vases by residents every Friday. Most residents take part in numerous activities. This is certainly a place to call home for your family member/s. Amber Meadow is family!!

The staff at Amber Meadow is the best there is. The wait staff is exceptional. They treat all residents with respect, kindness, affection and their patience with special residents is heart warming as they try to make themselves understood and assist them with their meals. The staff put smiles on many faces as they go about their day helping residents and giving hugs when necessary. They put their residents’ needs above all else. People lead by example and the Management staff here is the best I have ever encountered. Amber meadows is a great choice! The staff are truly fantastic! They really care about the residents and work hard to make everyone feel welcome and apart of the community. Mom loves the food. There are lot of options and variety. The building is always clean and the the grounds outside are well kept and made beautiful with flowers and gardens. There is lots of things to do to keep busy and have fun and mom really enjoys the entertainment on thursdays. We love the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Amber Meadow. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Moving Dad from Ontario to Manitoba was stressful but Jeff and Sharon were there to answer any questions and provided support along the way. Activities are plentiful and the food is great. There is peace of mind knowing that Dad is a member of this caring community.

I was very impressed with looking around Amber Meadows. There are a lot of activities if you want to partake. I particularly liked the outings out of the building like going for lunch or touring a museum. There was something for everyone. I was impressed with the tasty lunch. There was time in-between courses to chat with people at my table. I found the public areas clean and tidy. I'm hoping that my mom will decide to move in so I will feel that she will be looked after and have plenty to do.

Living at Amber Meadow, my husband who passed away would be smiling knowing I am in a nice place! The manager and his Directors are always open to seniors needs. and easy to talk to After much research I knew this was for me! Three floors of various sized suites, lovely housekeeping staff and porters who keep things very clean and pleasant. You have 3 meals every day in the dining room prepared by a Chef and great Kitchen crew & waitstaff who all care to do their best! Around the building are parklike grounds, walkways & a pond with a water fountain, benches to stop and rest or just enjoy nature! There is a beauty shop to get pampered in and private care right next door! There is also provincial homecare. There are lots of activities, lunch out weekly, venues to visit, music & entertainers brought in and a great bus driver Mon.-Fri. to take you to appointments & shopping. In all a nice place to live!

the staff are excellent and accommodating. security before they lock up for the evening is wide open. making new residents feel welcome needs some work, especially for seating at meal time. It can be awkward for new residents. for the most part, I find the food good and appreciate that I don't have to cook or cleanup. when a problem is brought to the staff, they try their best to solve it. life is what you make it and if you get involved in the activities and what is offered, living at Amber Meadow can be a good place to live. My Mother Betty is entering her second year at Amber Meadow and has never been happier. The staff have gone above and beyond helping to find her when she wandered off into the community as well as assisting her with the occasional fall. She enjoys the home feeling as opposed to an institutional vibe

My mother moved here after my father passed away in April. I cannot say enough kind words about the staff here. They have gone above and beyond to make my mother comfortable and happy. I feel quite relieved that my mother is safe and well looked after, especially since I don't live in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend Amber Meadow to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

I moved in with my pets. Management has been very accommodating for pet owners. The park-like setting is a peaceful escape when needed. You can garden on your patios/ balconies. Management are approachable, pleasant and helpful. They call everyone by name. Serving and cleaning staff- sometimes one and the same -are pleasant , helpful and know your name and soon your dining preferences. Meals take some getting used to and - other than Christmas- do not look like the picture on website. Nor can you order whatever. A menu is on your table daily and that alone is your choices. You may not even change up cottage cheese for chedar if you choose fruit salad and don’t like cottage cheese. Bearing in mind you are reading a “look good “ sales brochure and you are on the fence re moving I would recommend a staycation to see if you are ready to move. If you are looking at brochures or website remember that these are sale product so you will not see a meal like the one pictured. Nor will you be able to order anything other than on the 2 pages in the menu for that day. . Second choice is a leftover so may not be available when servers get to you. Lots of room to park and garage space to rent if available.
