My mother Anne has been a resident at Windrose for the past 11 months. The care the kindness and understanding that every staff member has given her has been above reproach. Dementia is a terrible and heartbreaking disease that requires patience and compassion and it is given at Windrose. Great activities for everyone to join in on . Exercise and social interaction to keep her mind active and engaged. Comfortable surroundings and rooms with her on personal touches added plus excellent and delicious meals keep her strength up. I would recommend Windrose to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one in a safe and inviting environment. All staff members are top notch from housekeeping, maintenance, aides, food service, office staff, nursing and Cheryl and her activities coordinators and truly care for my mother's well being as well as every resident there. I am very grateful beyond words for choosing Windrose.

I'm very happy to see my mother's involvement in activities at Windrose. Each time we have stopped by for a visit she has been engaged in either a group activity or discussion. She has been able to increase her social interactions and activities since her arrival. She was previously pretty isolated and we are so happy with the staff's encouragement and engagement.

We chose Windrose for our mother because it wasn't a locked wing or floor in a massive complex; Windrose is small and serves only memory-impaired residents. We were impressed with the staff from day one. Every single time I have visited, I have felt an "at-home-ness" from the staff. They treat my mom like a queen; some staff even call her that! The place is clean and really quite beautiful. The personalization they do for residents (projecting photos, personalized areas outside of the rooms) really makes a difference. I have no fears about my mother's safety; that, in and of itself, is a grand testimony to a wonderful place for our mom. Thank you, Windrose!

When you are told that you need to find a memory care unit and you need to find one quickly, it is an overwhelming feeling. We looked at numerous places in the area before deciding on Windrose at Woburn. Windrose felt like "home"! It is a small locked facility where everyone knows the resident's and family members' names. We moved my mother in law in in February and we have been very happy with her quality of life and care at Windrose. We have been impressed with the whole community. All the staff members support, care and show love and kindness to all the residents. We have been very impressed with the Community Relations Director, Shah. He shows immediate responses to any questions and concerns we have and he sends many updates and highlights of how my mother in law is doing and how engaged in the daily activities she is. It is very comforting to families who cannot get to see their loved one daily to know that residents' needs are being met and that they are being well cared for. She now considers Windrose her home. We would highly recommend Windrose at Woburn.

My Nana Kay has been at Windrose for about 6 weeks now. My family and I are incredibly impressed with the facility, high standard of care, and the amazing dedication of all the staff members. Every time I go to visit, my nana is engaged in some kind of activity with other residents. Some days the residents are doing floral arranging, other times doing art projects, or even listening to familiar old-time songs sung by a live entertainer. I am most impressed by the sincerity and care that the staff show the residents. They now every residents' name, their likes and dislikes, and treat them with dignity. The staff don't see the residents as a "job", but as individuals who still have worth and are someone's loved one. I would recommend Windrose to anyone who is looking for a safe, caring, clean, and engaging environment for a loved one.

Finding Windrose at Woburn was a godsend. After a fall my 91 year old mother, Kay, was recommended for memory care. It was a stressful decision. I did a lot of research, spoke to people in the field of Elder Care and toured numerous memory care facilities. Many were very nice, but felt a bit cold and impersonal. When I finally got to Windrose, I was looking to start with a 30 day respite as a trial period. From the moment I called and spoke with Shah, the Community Relations Director, I felt comfortable. I toured the facility and found it small and intimate, extremely clean and homey, but more than that the residents were well cared for, engaged in activities and I was able to speak with a number of family members about their experiences. After 60 days of respite the family made the decision for my mother to become a permanent resident. Every single staff member that I have engaged with has been great. The emphasis is on community and it shows. When you visit and just observe every staff member appears engaged in their work, cheerful, and understanding of the needs of each resident. My mother's aide, Johnson is wonderful. Everyone from the nursing staff, the activities staff to the aides, office and maintenance staff have been exemplary and so patient while my mother and I navigated this difficult life transition. Now, instead of watching television all day like she used to, I visit to find my mom engaging in crafts, exercise, memory games or being entertained by a musician. Everything Windrose does is geared towards the resident with an understanding of them as people with memory issues and always preserving their dignity. I can not speak highly enough of my experience with Windrose thus far.

During the relatively quick search we went through to get my Mom the proper and necessary care she needed we ultimately chose Windrose in Woburn. We toured a handful of facilities locally in just a few days, and Windrose ultimately stood out above the rest for us. Some of the reasons it stood out was location, ratio of workers to residents, and a smaller community feel. The larger places we toured felt too big to me. Windrose has a number of well done social events for family to come and enjoy which has been nice. They have many planned activities during the day which has been great for keeping my Mom socially active. All of the staff that I've met during her time there so far have been very nice and helpful. The Community Relations Director Shah was also another reason I wanted my Mom here. He's a very engaging person who really cares about the residents and their families which has been great. I highly recommend Windrose.

I wanted to share my feelings about the Windrose at Woburn, assisted living memory care facility. My grandmother has been a resident since February 2024 and my family has been very happy with the care, communication, activities and family outreach provided by Windrose. Our family was worried about how the transition to a new community would go for my grandmother, and we were pleasantly surprised at the support my grandmother was given. Shah, the Community Relations Director is the heart of the community. He is wonderful with residents and families and frequent updates are sent and he has open communication with the residents' families. We are so thankful that we found a place that my grandmother considers home. Before leaving for family outings she needs to say goodbye to a few staff members and give them hugs and she always looks forward to going back "home" after our outings. This signals to our family that she loves where she lives. We would highly recommend Windrose if you are searching for a small, intimate home where there is consistent care and attention.

I had the opportunity to see why Windrose at Woburn has five star reviews. I was very impressed, each of the residents appeared freshly showered and well groomed. Christine is a hard working resident care director that starts her day there at 6am, she is engaging and very supportive to her staff residents and there families. The food was delicious with a well rounded menu and the Chef Jack was so accommodating to everyone. I also wanted to mention Linda in the business office, despite the many demands placed on her from every direction she still takes the time to handle every request and go above and beyond for you! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for your loved one.

My mother-in-law went into Wind Rose of Woburn on February 7, 2019. She has dementia and also had been falling quite a few times at home with the last fall resulting in a broken rib At this point, it was just not safe for her to be at home.We visited Wind Rose and had a tour of the facility. It was very clean and very bright. The first two weeks were difficult and she wanted to come home. The staff told us that, from their experience, she would settle in within a few weeks. After being there for six weeks, she recently told us that she is very happy there, enjoys the activities every day and getting three meals a dayThe staff, from the office, aides and activity directors, are very caring and sensitive to each of the residentsIf you need a safe place for your parent with memory issues, I would highly recommend Wind Rose of Woburn.

We were not happy with my father in laws skilled nursing facility but thought were we stuck with it because his dementia had progressed so far. Then I spoke with nurses at Windrose at Woburn and learned out their very special care for folks like my father in law. Windrose of Woburn has warm, caring staff that focus on the happiness and accomplishments of the daily life of the residents. The meals are delicious and served in 3 courses. The activities are specifically designed for success for folks with a range of abilities. The decor is lovely and homey. My father in law is talking more, has learned to recognize and flirt with his favorite assistant. His appetite is much better and he is walking more.And, not the least to say, it is MUCH less expensive than the nursing facility.
