Sunrise of Wayland is an excellent facility. We placed our loved one there knowing she would get the 24/7 care she required. She was in the memory care unit with a very caring and supportive staff. Kiana, the supervisor of the memory care, and the other staff members became part of our family. Kiana would always keep in touch with us on any concerns or just to say hello we’re having a good day! We enjoyed all the family gatherings and got to meet many of the other families. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Wayland if you are looking for a home away from home for your loved one!

It’s heartbreaking to place a loved one in memory care. Do not hesitate to explore and place your loved one in this facility. The caregivers are as professional and caring as the office/executive staff. I’m repeating this review that I left a few months ago. My opinion has not changed.

My mother has been living at Sunrise of Wayland for two years now. She feels comfortable and safe. The facility itself is a great fit. It’s a relatively small and feels more personal. My mother finds the layout easy to navigate. She found my aunt’s large assisted living confusing and overwhelming. The building itself is set back from the noisy road and well landscaped with a paved walkway around the building with benches to rest. I’m there at least four days a week at different times and there’s always staff members present. They are always engaging and friendly. I am happy with the care she receives. Lukas at the nursing station takes time to update me on any issues or new observations. When I needed to go away with my husband’s family the Care Coordinator, Lisa went above and beyond to keep me updated and made sure I could enjoy the time away without worry. Heather the executive director is always available and easy to talk to as well. Overall I feel the staff has made my mother feel comfortable there and she can get the personal attention she needs.

Sunrise Wayland is a wonderful senior living community. The staff are caring and work hard to ensure their residents have meaningful and purposeful days. The grounds are beautiful and the building is cozy and welcoming. A great place to reside for seniors who want to be engaged and happy.

Sunrise of Wayland has been home to for my mother since 2019, in the memory care unit. From the team in the memory care unit, to the front desk, to management, to the nursing staff, everyone has been beyond professional, courteous, kind, caring, and attentive. I know my mother, despite her condition, feels loved and cared for.

Sunrise of Wayland is a wonderful, happy & welcoming community. Beautifully landscaped & tucked into a peaceful corner of Wayland. It is a warm, tastefully decorated homey environment with daily fun activities, delicious meals & quiet areas to read or chat with friends/family. This was a difficult time for our family but the wonderful staff at Sunrise was so supportive and helpful it made mom's transition much easier; ours too. Our mother also had many medical needs which were easily managed by a very caring staff. We were at ease knowing mom was well cared for and that she was happy & comfortable there. I highly recommend Sunrise of Wayland to anyone looking for Assisted living or memory care for a loved one.

Amazing staff and care! The decision to help a loved one transition to assisted care can be challenging. We are so glad our Mom chose Sunrise. The intake process was straightforward and transparent, the staff is incredibly caring and helpful, mom says the food is fantastic, and there are engaging and fun activities every day. When we contact staff with a question, we always receive a quick reply, and the facility is smaller than many, meaning each resident is known to the staff and are treated respectfully. We are lucky to have found Sunrise of Wayland!

My mother has been at Sunrise for four and a half months now. She is doing great. The staff is caring, very supportive, and they respond quickly if asked for special accommodations. Sunrise is a beautiful place, and my mother and I call it the “senior resort.” The meals are nourishing and delicious, with healthy snacks available in between. My mother loves her caregivers. They greet her by name and are very attentive. There is always a period of adjustment when our loved one moves to assisted living, but Sunrise of Wayland smoothes the way. For my mom, Sunrise of Wayland is not only her community of friends, but also her home.

My father received wonderful care here. Sunrise has an attractive Victorian facade with a wrap-around porch. The facility was clean, tastefully decorated interior. While there are many rooms it feels very homelike. There is a large room for group activities and small cozy areas to sit and watch tv or chat . Dad had an ADA room with a view to the woods that he enjoyed. The food was good and served in an attractive dining room. You could sit with a group or eat alone as desired. The staff was cheerful and professional. The staff accomodated and efficiently handled all of our requests regarding dad's care. There was a variety of activities and dad especially enjoyed the music programs. The cost was reasonable for the area. There was always parking and there were local restaurants nearby. The facility felt very secure. The maintenance staff were quick to resolve issues. Over the decades several members from our church have stayed here as well.

Not impressed either!!!! Old dingey rugs need replacement, poor medical oversight, many errors, but not to forget the "special assessment" for inflation. The staff that did the lower end care was caring but the organization itself has much to be desired and my loved one should be treated better.

Sunrise Wayland is a beautiful cozy assisted living and memory care community nestled in beautiful Wayland, Massachusetts. I have been working with this community for about a year and a half and the staff and residents are full of compassion and vibrant living. The activity staff is engaging and provides wonderful, excursions and interactive events for the residence, which allows them to be social and happy. The care team is very professional and experienced and has a heart for all of its residents and their needs. I highly recommend this community to any family looking to place their loved one in an assisted living or memory care setting.

I have been at two sunrises with my friend Ruth Malm! We started at the Westin facility, and when it closed, we went to Wayland ! In both places, the staff made it what it was! In the almost four years our mother lived at Sunrise, we always felt that she was cared for and above all, safe. The staff truly cared for her and they were genuinely sad when she passed away.

Our mother, Marcia Cook spent two years at Sunrise and we could not be any more impressed with the Staff from the leadership at the top with Jean-Marie down to the folks that cared for Marcia on a daily basis. The entire staff made us feel very safe leaving Marcia in their great care. It can be a very difficult decision leaving a parent with an unknown facility but we are so thankful we found Marcia a home at Sunrise of Wayland. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved one.
