Super Staff and Awesome Audience! We were honored to entertain the residents and staff again today at the Hancock Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Quincy, Massachusetts. We especially want to thank Gira and Stephanie with Activities and the resident Larry. Stephanie and Larry volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMIES, wear our ventriloquist face masks and help us sing our "No Bully Zone" original song. (No they did not sing at the same time.... we're not that good!)

On this Thanksgiving morning I want to take a moment to express my deep and heart-felt gratitude to all of the wonderful staff at Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care. I have had a lot of experience with skilled nursing care because of the increasing age of my parents, in-laws and extended family. My recent experience at Hancock Park has been by far my most positive. From the first day my loved one was treated with respect, sensitivity and empathy by what was clearly a quality and well-trained and directed staff. Any problem or concern we raised was handled promptly and effectively. From the warm and helpful interaction each-and-every day at reception to the caring and sympathetic team handling her care, I cannot overstate how positive and caring our experience was. I highly recommend Hancock Park to any worried family member seeking such care for their loved one.

We had such a great experience at Hancock Park when my father was there for rehab. The staff were patient, thorough, kind, and competent. He was able make the gains he needed to go home and the team communicated each step along the way. We are so thankful for everyone from the nurses, aides, therapy team, social services, and administration. Highly recommended!
August 2025
The staff at Hancock Park are truly top notch. Everyones main focus is to make sure you get better. And when I say everyone I mean the doctors and nurses all the way to the food service and cleaning crew employees. It is unfortunate that my mother has had many instances over the past decade where she needed a rehabilitation service. The fortunate part is that Hancock Park has been there to get her healthy enough to return home. Our family will always be greatfull to the staff for all their efforts to make that happen.

Recently toured Hancock Park and was very impressed. Michael was a great tour guide from his large smile and friendly handshake. Michael was very passionate about his building and the work he does. I had a ton of questions and Michael took the time to answer all of them. The building was clean and everyone seemed so happy. I have just started the process of needing to place my loved one in a Nursing home and after this great experience I am keeping Hancock Park on my shortlist. Sincerely Prospective Family

Want to thank the entire staff who took great care of my mom and was committed to getting her better and back home
August 2024
Mom, has spent the past week here and am impressed with the level of care she is receiving. The staff is attentive, and kind towards mom. The building is dated and not very modern and put me off at first, but once I saw how great the staff were my concerns were gone. After all isn’t that what’s most important when rehabbing.
August 2024
My mother was here recovering from a broken knee. The PT team here is just wonderful and really prepared my mom to go home. May 2024
My mother was at Hancock Park for almost two months for rehab after a fracture. While skilled nursing facilities get a "bad rap" these days, I was quite pleased with the care she received, both from the facility and medical staff. The facility is very clean and it was always easy to visit. I received calls with changes in status, even in the middle of the night. The nursing and nursing assistant staff were kind, knowledgeable, personable and attentive. They treated my mother with kindness and respect. The medical staff - Dr Pierre and NP Kathy were incredible - kind, attentive, thoughtful and very attentive to my concerns. If everyone is the US received care as they provided, healthcare would be much better. They addressed her issues in a timely manner. Overall, while never good to have an ill family member, I felt confident in the care she was receiving and didn't worry even when I had to travel out of state while she was there. Don't hesitate to send a family member there if needed!

We recently had an elderly family member who spent almost 2 months at Hancock Park to recover from a fractured leg bone. We found the physical therapy program to be very good with her case, working with her about six days a week to help her progress. She loved all of the staff, to include the nurses and care attendants, and found them to be very pleasant and kind. The administrative staff, social workers and case manager, were informative and responsive to our needs.
March 2024

We couldn't be happier with the experience. Thank you to everyone at Hancock Park Rehab!

My dad, Victor, was admitted back on April 23 after surgery and ended up staying longer at Hancock due to complications. The nurse's care, caregivers, and admin. went above the call of care for my dad. Making him as comfortable as possible during his stay. He went home in great shape and was able to heal and get better after his great care.
July 2023
My Father was admitted to Hancock Park for rehabilitation, The Staff was caring, attentive and kind. The facility was clean and the food according to my dad was very good. Finding a place for a loved one is a very difficult decision and after speaking to a co-worker he was 100% accurate!

The entire staff was great to work with. Amy and Pat in the admissions office, Amanda and Jonathan from the physical therapy team and Soria, Amanda & Cece from the nursing team, along with the other nurses and aids, all made my mother feel very welcomed. They took great care of her and when it was her time to leave, she was in a much better place both physically and mentally. I’m confident she’ll now succeed at her assisted living facility because of the treatment she received at Hancock Park. Big thanks to all of you.

Excellent experience! My mom had two separate back to back stays here after breaking her hip and shoulder and then femur. The entire staff was attentive and professional and caring. Amy Muldoon was so present and kept me and my family updated regularly. All of the CNAs and RNs were awesome! Highly recommend for rehabilitation.
August 2022
I was in rehab for about 1 week after my total knee replacement. I was most pleased with the quality of the care I received and the wonderful attitudes of all the employees from the physician , the nursing staff and PT all the way to the janitorial staff. Bravo! Dr. Mark Lessing
July 2022
My 85 year old Mom had been recommended the Hancock by a friend. Her friend had mentioned that the PT was excellent as well as the facility overall. The staff is fantastic here! My Mom felt safe, comfortable and at ease here which was a huge gift to us. The nurses and PT/OT folks were extremely attentive to her! She enjoyed making it to that sunlit PT room everyday and even bumped into another friend there! The entire staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming to me no matter where she was in her recovery ( if I came during bathing or PT ) which contributed to a very collaborative relationship all the way to discharge. There are not enough words to express my/our gratitude towards the staff in knowing she was so taken care of at such a vulnerable time.

It was nice that the social workers and doctors tried to work with my dad but I feel the nurses could have been better for the patience the patience bathroom had a real bad stinch the cleaners don't use and thing at least to make it smell clean. I just feel they are out for money that's just my opinion.
October 2021

My mother was a patient at Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after having a fall at home. She received wonderful care. The first day she was admitted my family and I knew we made a great decision. We met several staff during her stay and they were all professional, caring and kind. Every department played a role in my mom's successful discharge to home. We can't single anyone out we just want people to know Hancock Park has a great team!
September 2021
My mother, 88 years young, fell in her home. After a stay at an area hospital we decided upon Hancock Park for rehab and nursing care. This has been her 1st time at any rehab facility and she was nervous. We as a family can not say enough about the care, compassion and service she received. First impression: Hancock Park is bright, very clean and cheerful. Every interaction with every staff member - nurses, therapists, social workers, aides, food service assistants and cleaners was positive. Any question or request we had was answered or addressed in a timely manner. They truly care and want the best for their patients and families.. It was a relief to know that she was receiving exemplary care and that the focus was always on my mother and the goals set to enable her to live independently. I would without hesitation recommend Hancock Park to anyone for care.

My Mom was transferred from Brigham & Woman’s Hospital to Hancock Park for rehab and nursing services. She was greeted in the lobby, on a Friday evening by the Admissions Director, Christie, who called to let me know she arrived. Amy, the Director of Social Services, called me on the days I couldn’t be there with updates on Mom’s progress. Mom was especially grateful to CNA Patty. We couldn’t be happier with the care and rehab services she received. My family and I would highly recommend Hancock Park Nursing & Rehab Center. Patty M.
August 2021
My family is extremely pleased with the quality of care that my parents received at Hancock Park. We have utilized multiple Hancock Park services “ Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, and Long-term Nursing Care. The facility is well-maintained, the location is central (walkable for Assisted Living residents and there’s a very convenient and affordable taxi service), and the staff and administrators are professional, dedicated, and extremely caring. We are grateful for the extra commitment and care that key staff members continue to deliver.
August 2021
My father in law received the best of care. We were so happy with the facility and the staff. Thank you for taking such good care of him.
June 2021
My Aunt was transferred from SSH to Hancock Park for short term rehab on the 5th floor after a bout of pneumonia. She had been given a not so great cancer diagnosis which had actually become terminal with only a short time left, which the NP very compassionately told her while she was there. The entire staff from nursing to PT/OT at HP made her feel comfortable and gave us some peace of mind during the most difficult time in her life, from heating up homemade soup to even allowing our family to celebrate her last Birthday in their little common area while she was there. Can’t thank you all enough for making those days a little bit easier for my sweet aunt.

June 2021
My dad has been a long term resident for a little over a year now at Hancock Park. It was really hard not being able to see him during Covid. The nurses made sure my my mom was able to talk to him through Face time on a daily basis. Which gave a lot of relief to my mom. Now that the nursing home has opened back up we are able to visit dad daily and take him out for lunch occasionally, which he really enjoys. We met a lot of the staff and the nurses on dads floor. They are all very friendly and very caring. The whole facility is kept very clean which is nice. We appreciate all the care that is given to dad and want to thank the staff for keeping him safe and well taken care of.
June 2021
Our father spend time at Hancock Park after being in other nursing/rehabs and there was no comparison. Hancock Park was superior in every way. The staff was attentive, caring and professional. It was always clean and everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The food was even good! We are forever grateful that Dad got his wish to come home and I honestly believe the staff was the reason.

Wish my Aunt had planned her elder care better.
August 2019
Staff is okay. I imagine cnas are severely underpaid for what they do. Nurses are pretty oblivious although they know the right thing to do. The question is do they do it when family is not around to witness it. As these facilities go it's one of the better ones. 4 stars go to social activity staff. They engage with the residents and seem to actually like their work
February 2018
My dad went from the rehab to the nursing home last year after a fall on ice left him unable to walk anymore. He loves it. The staff are like a family on the third floor and always trying to think of things to make the patient's lives more pleasant from outings for lunch to local restaurants to bingo games. They call me whenever there is the slightest problem and are always receptive to any concerns I might have even the wifi not working properly. The decor is inviting with lots of touches like giant snowmen in the lobby to little touches in the diningroom that give the facility a very cozy uplifting look. Asked my dad the other day if he made the right decision to stay and he said absolutely!
August 2017
Our father was recently released from rehab at Hancock Park, Quincy, MA after a one week stay to get him back on his feet after a 3 week stay in the hospital (he was on the 5th floor). He received the highest quality of care from the entire staff, and I mean the entire staff from the nurses, the aides, physical therapists, the kitchen staff, and so on. I am so grateful for their compassion, the dignity they bestowed upon him, and the special attention they paid to his specific needs. They truly made a difference to our family and we're so happy our father (Jack) is on the mend. Thank you everyone who helped him return to Florida with a high quality of life enabling him to return to all his family, friends and the activities he loves. Sincerely, Sherry Larkin
July 2017
this was my dad's third trip to this rehab..wonderful staff from the Nursing, PT/OT/ nurses aides and social workers.. His NP and MD were very in tune to his complex medical issues. As a nurse I am very observant and cannot say how bright and caring and professional the staff have been over the past 5 weeks,,The food was also great which was an added plus!! very appreciative of their efforts to get my dad home!
August 2016
The nurses and aids are very nice to my father. He went from downstairs in the Allerton House to the nursing home. He has adjusted very well.
