My mother has been at this facility in the traditional living program since January. Because i live across the country, when i visit Mom, i stay for a week at a time which gives me plenty of time with all the employees. Every single one of them gives 100% in terms of professionalism, love and kind attention to the residents and they all make it a fun and light-hearted environment with constant activities. I could write a special review for each one of them, including the aids and the nurses, the department heads, the servers in the dining room, the entertainment people. The Receptionist is exceptional and should have the title of Supreme Commander! I cannot tell you how happy we are that our Mom is in this beautiful facility. It is incredibly well managed.

My mom has stayed at Benchmark for a little under one year. It was some thing we never planned on or expected. The experience is truly very scary. To leave your mom with people you do not know. It took some time to get used to but in the end I feel like they treat my mom like they would their own mom. They have taken the time to get to know her, that is so important. Victoria and her staff in Harbor care have a very tough job. I love them for what they do. I can only ask that they keep up the good work. One year later…. It’s hard to write anything…… so I will just say we are blessed to have Victoria and all of the wonderful “staff” that have become more like family. For the most part they all treat my mom like they would their own! It’s a very difficult road to travel…… it’s nice to know someone will always be there to help you get through it with a hug or kind words.

My mom decided to look into Assisted Living but unfortunately, before she was able to find her new home, she became ill and my husband and I had to make the difficult decision for her. We looked at a number of different places but the minute we entered Benchmark on Clapboardtree, we knew we had found the perfect place. Of course, we wanted the physical appearance of her home to be attractive but the warmth and compassion that emanated from the staff was even more appealing. My mom adapted well, made many friends, and thrived in her new environment. The activities Benchmark offered kept her mind and body stimulated. Mom lived at Benchmark on Clapboardtree for about 4 years, until the ripe age of 98. Her mental, emotional, and physical quality of life was extended due to the dedication, love, and care of the Benchmark staff, to whom I will forever be grateful!

My mother has been living in Benchmark for almost 2 years now. She is well taken care of there by a friendly and competent staff. When you enter the building you are greeted by a friendly face who is always willing to help and answer any questions. The best part is my mother is in a safe place.

The activities are amazing and there is always something fun and stimulating for residents to do. We have found all of the staff to be very caring and warm, and it is obvious to residents that everyone who works there really cares about them. The administration is responsive and excellent to work with. Dining services are also excellent.I can't say enough great things about Benchmark on Clapboardtree. They set very high standards and do a fantastic job reaching and exceeding them. I feel great knowing that my Dad is so happy and well-cared for. It is extremely comforting.

Mom needed attention and individual care and reminders. We moved her to Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree. What a great decision! Cant express the relief to know mom is eating regular meals, taking her medication and exercising! She has made new friends and looks forward to all the daily activities. My siblings join me in being excited for mom living with good care and safety! BSL Clapboardtree is a positive experience with great caring staff. We couldnt be more pleased with our decision to move our mom there.

My parents had the great fortune of being one of the first residents to move into this facility when it opened. They were part of the memory care community and I was consistently impressed by the level of dedication and caring the staff showed towards my parents and all of the residents. In particular, the staff always made efforts to provide meaningful activities both within and outside of the facility. We will always have good memories of their time there.
